→DESCRIPTION
Ah yes.
After planning the plots, we take the next step!
DESCRIPTION.
I admit, it is one of things that is VERY DIFFICULT to come up with a good one.
But I'm just gonna suggest what I can think of to write a good story's description, that will attract the readers to read your story!
Here, I will present some methods to write a simple, short but decent summary of your story! UwU
BUT FIRST!
There are some things you should know before writing description.
1. Do not spoil the whole plot!

2. Do not write author's note in description

3.Do not write the ship name / the characters involve ONLY in the description.

These are all mistakes aughors tend to make when they are still new in writing story. I want to tell you one thing.
People tend to ignore your book if they see any of these things in your description.
I'm speaking through experiencing. I swear, I SWEAR. I don't read any book that has NO DESCRIPTION.
because I think the authors are lazy/not creative.
This is my opinion only. Don't take it in wrong way.
__________
So, now we will get to the points!
1. The dialogue, the problem and the interaction of the two main characters summary

This description is taken from my upcoming book, Three Words, Eight Letters : TodoFemDeku. I rarely use this method but it is very useful, honestly.
You just need to write a little dialogue of the first main character (female or male. up to you) about the struggle he/she is going through. Then write a little about the problem he/she will face in the story. After that, write some interaction between the protagonist with the hero/heroine of the story THAT IS related to their problems!
I think this is the simple, but cute, type? :3
2. The song summary

This is taken from Fire on Fire : A BNHA OC STORY written by BlackberrySugarQueen.
She is so smart to take a lyric of a song called Fire on Fire and use it as the summary!
So if you want to use this method, just take some lyrics from a song that you are basing your fanfic on, and put it in the description! Simple, right? That is enough to make a good short description!
But remember! Make sure that lyrics are RELEVANT to your story! Take the important part of the song only, not write the whole song! Readers want to read your story, not reading a book containing song's lyrics!
3. The quote summary

This description is from Summer Crush : K.Tobio. I think this is a Haikyuu fanfic? I don't really know but I was intrigued by sunniethebakubean 's style of writing summary
You see how she wrote the description?
Yes, it is very easy! I think this is the easiest way to write a good summary!
Just write down a short sentence showing the important part of your story, and made it into a quote!
Then down there, you can explain a small part of the problem/plot of the story!
Gosh, I love this method but I rarely use it cuz it isn't my style! But you guys can use this one!
4. The translating meaning of the title summary

This is kinda similar to Method 3. The only difference is, you elaborate the meaning of the title of your story!
This is taken from Mellifluous : K. Bakugou By sunniethebakubean!
This time, you write the meaning behind the title of your story and use it as part of the summary. After that, write a little part of the problems they characters will face in the book. uwu
5. The short, shocking summary.

Heheheh, familiar much?
;)
Okay, this method is a little difficult but for those who dare to try, use it then!
This summary is taken from my book, His Eternal Bride : OverFemDeku.
So you see, I only wrote a short version of my earliest chapter, Prologue, and made it into summary. Add a little suspense in the middle, by asking a small question.
And then ADD a SURPRISE element in the end.
What is the surprise element? For example, the part where Hisashi told Izuku about her fiance.
My readers kept saying they were shocked when they read the summary and they felt like reading it more since they were curious! I guess this method work out well.
6. The long summary

TTaken from my book, The Young Lady : Fem!zuku X Shie Hassaikai.
Another difficult method to make description. I wrote a quite long summary (cuz I can't help myself)
So, in this summary, I wrote the short version of the earliest scenarios of the story in the description. And to make it interesting, I ended it with what kind of experience Izuku will go through while living with her new bodyguards.
BUT I DON'T SPOIL THE WHOLE PLOT.
That is the important part of making description. Do not spoil the whole story!
I don't know how to explain this one but if you are good at explaining things properly, then you can use this method.
7. The short, full of suspense summary.

Taken from my book, The Young Lady : White Carnation
Basically, I write a little spoiler of the beginning, the middle, but I kept the ending anonymous/mysterious.
This is actually good. No need to use the long summary one, and use this one is good enough.
Just write a little part of the beginning, the tensed moment of the middle, and keep the ending mysterious by adding questions or quotes. uwu
