→PLOTLINES

Deciding PLOTLINES is really important! Without them, you will have no direction, meaning you will stray away from the path of the story you are in progress making it.

It is the core of writing story. Without decent plots, you can't write a good story!

All stories need a beginning, a middle and an end, right?

The beginning : introduce the characters and explain the problem.

The middle : build the tension in the story and slowly make it to the climax of the story.

The end : wrap everything up of the story and then tie the loose end! Bam!

I know, most of authors out there have problem with the plotlines. mostly, they don't know how to start the story, even though they already have the story line, not to mention, the interesting plot at that!

So, in my experience as a fanfic writer, I usually start the fanfics with;

1. A prologue where I show the daily life of the characters, explain a little bit of the problem and show the interaction among the characters. (Mostly use by me)

2. A flashback of the past that is the important part of the plots.

3. Some scenes of the official anime to start the story, and add my own little twist in it to make it more interesting.

This is actually really helpful! For method three, though. If you want to write a scene from anime as the beginning of your story, add your own little twist to make it more interesting!

But, of all, this is the most important part;

Keep your plotlines interesting!

Do not be too straightforward with the story!!

Readers won't enjoy a story that is too straightforward, plot escalating too fast, no characters development and strange interaction/scene that has nothing to do with the plot even a bit!
Have the main characters experience some hardships, problems, predicaments, unexpected challenges in their lives while they are aiming for their goals! That is the right thing to do!

Make them feel a little (or a lot of) pains, emotional roller coasters, going through dilemma and all! IT WILL BE AWESOME!

Readers LOVE suspense! It will keep them hook on your book and make them feel like

"I WANT TO READ THIS FREAKING BOOK TILL THE END!"

(imao that's how I feel sometimes so—)

It will keep them wanting to read more of your stories!

If you can get people to read your book above 4-5 chapters, then that is a good sign! That means, they are interested in your story!

(I'm telling you this base on my experience. I'm very picky when it comes to reading. If I feel like the story isn't interesting in the very first chapter, I stop reading the story instantly.)

I'm going to give my book, You're A Hero : ShinFemDeku as an example.

This book, is one of the books, I think... Is very decent and well-planned fanfic.

Izuku and Hitoshi went through so many hardships and challenges in order for them to be together forever. So far, this is my favourite work.

I think that is all from me today? I will tell more I'm details in next update!
