(7:47 p.m)

"Here we are. Are you ready to have fun ? " Kalvin asked as he took her hand in his and they were walking through the entry. 

She smiled, "Yes. And thanks again for coming." 

He fanned her off, "No need to thank me, it's a pleasure. And to be honest, I think it's gonna be my best Valentine's Day. So I am thanking you." 

She stopped walking and hugged him tightly around his waist, then they entered in. There was red balloons in heart shape that was guiding them through the school until the gymnasium that was decorated as a ball. It was simple, but cute. There was even a little buffet with sweet candy on it and some drinks -no alcohol, of course. The music was already playing and some fathers and their daughters were already on the dance floor. 

"Are they gonna play slow songs all night ? " Kal asked raising a brow and looking around. 

Acacia shrugged, "I don't know. We can still ask the DJ to play other songs." 

He beamed, "Good idea." He motioned for her to wait and he then made his way towards the DJ. He slightly tapped on his shoulder causing the young teenage boy to turn around with a questioning expression on his face. 

"Yes ? Hey, are you not Kalvin Ryans ? " 

Kal nodded his head, "Yes it's me." 

The teenager couldn't believe his eyes, "Oh shit ! I'm a big fan of yours ! Jesus Christ ! Can I have a pic, so I can let everybody know that I met you ? " He pulled his phone out the fastest he could, but suddenly he stopped moving and frowned, "But…What are you doing here ? " He asked curiously. 

"I came here to dance and I appreciate your support. Yes, you can take a picture and can you play some songs for me please ? "

"Of course, I got you man. What do you want ? But first, let us take a selfie, bro." Kal laughed and posed for the picture, that the boy posted immediately on Instagram and he also tweeted a little something about it. He was so happy to see one of his role models, "By the way, my name is Joe." 

"Nice to meet you, Joe." They dapped each other, "So…about these songs ? "

"Oh yeah, yeah ! So, what do you want ? "

"Hm, what you got ? "

"A lil bit of everything." 

"Okay. Well, play this first, then this one and Oh ! This one too. Damn, you have good things." Kal said showing him the titles on his laptop.

Joe smiled proudly, "Hey, if you want to be the best, you have to do it right."

"Said it again and let the Church says Amen." 

"Amen ! " They chuckled and Joe made a little playlist that he was about to play in the next minute, "Go back there and have fun, I got everything under control from there."

They dapped again, "Thanks, lil bro. Make sure you have tagged me in your pic, so I'll make a shout out to you on Insta and Twitter. It was nice talking with you. And do not drop off school."

Joe nodded his head grinning, "I promise, I'll do great in life."

Kal walked towards Acacia who was talking with some girls of her class and he held his hand down out to her, "Do you want to dance with me ? "

She smiled chuckling and stood up, then took his hand, "Kool and The Gang, really ? " She asked as they started moving to the beat. Soon, other people were joining them. The fathers were glad to hear something their ears were used to listen to and were ready to show some dance moves to their daughter, "Ready to be a loser once again ? "

"Let me show you, little girl. You gon' learn tonight." He began doing the running man, then pursued with the Steve Martin.

Acacia laughed shaking her head and decided to copy him, "Old man, YOU gon' learn tonight. Don't believe, just watch." 

They continued with the humpty dance, that was quickly followed with the Cupid shuffle as Joe changed the song. Soon after that, Usher's voice started echoing in the gymnasium and Acacia and Kal were trying to be the fastest with the SpongeBob.

* ''Shawty, I don't mind (…) '' *

They were not ready to stop yet and enchained with the Kid 'N Play. Kal was a bit surprised that she knew it, but he was more than happy to do the move with her. Now, everybody was forming a crowd around them applauding and cheering for them. Kal and Acacia were enjoying their moment to the fullest and didn't really care about their spectators, they were more focused on each other. 

Then came Temperature by Sean Paul and they instantly began to do the Willy Bounce, then kept on with the Bart Simpson. To finish their little show, Kal introduced the young girl to the Roger Rabbit on September by Earth, Wind & Fire. 

Acacia was having the time of her life. She could've never gone to this ball with another person, but only Kalvin. She couldn't ask for more, she had everything she wanted right now. Finally, she realized that he had entered into their lives for a specific reason, God had a plan for them. She could only trust him.

Kal him, couldn't help but go back to five months ago in his mind. Back then, if someone had told him that he will be at a father/daughter ball in the near future, he would've not believed that person, but that moment was really happening. He was not only falling for Cora, but for the twins also. 

They were becoming a family.

{ The Next Morning | (8:35 a.m) }

"Hello Miami ! How are you doing today ? I hope you started your day on a good note and that it will continue this way. Don't forget to thank God for waking y'all up. My name is Charlotte V and you're tuning in with 99.12 radio station. Welcome to the Morning show ! And I'm happy to introduce to y'all my dear friend, Kalvin Ryans from the Miami Heat ! This incredible and awesome specimen stopped by to talk to us. How are you doing sexy man ? "

He chuckled, "Thanks, that was a nice introduction. And I'm happy to be here with the Morning fam. I'm doing perfectly fine, what about you ? "

She smiled, "I'm feeling great ! So, let's not waste time and let's start with these questions." 

"Damn, it's like that, huh ? " He laughed getting prepared for all the potential questions she was about to throw at his face. Time for the interrogation.

She nodded her head, "Exactly ! So, the NBA Playoffs are coming soon and we would like to know how are you feeling about them ? Are you ready ? "

"Yes, I'm born ready." He joked and they chuckled, "No, seriously though, the coach had a specific schedule for us, we're training practically every day, we're determined to win this year and nothing can stop us."

She hummed, "Like last year, huh ? Y'all were on the top."

"And it will happen again, we're definitely ready."

"Okaaaaay, I see you, sexy. So, yesterday was Valentine's Day, what did you do to spend that lovely day ? Who was your Valentine ? I wished it was me." She winked at him playing her character and he shook his head. It wasn't the first time he was being interviewed by Charlotte and as usual she was playfully flirting with him. Yes, it wasn't that serious, she was doing it with every famous male. But it didn't meant that she wasn't being extremely nice to the females also. She was just a very friendly person and perfectly knew her limits.

"Next time, I got you."

"Oh really ? "

"Nah." They laughed.

"No, but seriously, did you have a Valentine ? The fans want to know, that was one of the most frequent questions they were asking, along with another one that is going to be our concern in a little bit. By the way people, keep tweeting your questions with the hashtag I Want To Know Kal. So, boo, can you answer please ? "  

"Well…I did have a Valentine yesterday and we went to a ball together to dance." 

"Did you have fun ? " She asked curiously. 

"Yes ! It was amazing. I think she's going to be my Valentine for every year from now on. It was very cool." He gave her a response causing Charlotte to narrow her eyes at him.

"Sounds like you found your soul mate, huh ? " He chuckled saying nothing to this, "Is she the woman on the pictures with you ? "

He frowned slightly, "The pictures ? "

"Yes, since like three or two months ago, blogs are posting things about you and there are these few pictures where we're seeing you in a company of a beautiful woman and some people are even saying that it seemed like she might be pregnant. And recently, actually I looked like one hour before the show started,…" She smiled showing her white teeth, "…now there are pictures of you with two kids and your best friend Terry Daniels, and everybody wants to know who they are. Are they related to the pretty mysterious woman ? What's going on in Mr.Ryans' life ? Uh…I know that you don't really like to speak about your personal life, actually you never motion it, but can you do a little exception today, please ? " She pouted with puppy eyes. 

He sighed, "Well…like you said, I don't like to talk about my private life and I have a reason for that. I don't want everybody in my personal business and I don't want the blogs or whatever to talk about the people I care for in some kind of way. I know how people can be and I don't want to put my loved ones through…this. I'm just protecting my family and I will keep doing this. So, I won't answer these questions. Sorry not really." He beamed.

"Aw, man ! But I understand, it's your right. People can get a little bit too crazy with celebrities' personal life, so I totally understand. I just hope that you're happy and filled with joy. Here that's the friend who is talking."

"I am ! Thank you, friend. I hope you're happy too. Boyfriend ? "

She laughed clapping her hands, "How can you turn things like that ? I am asking the questions ! And no, I don't have a boyfriend, but it doesn't mean that I'm not happy. I'm enjoying my life." 

"Glad for you, Cha."

She walked out of the bathroom, "I liked that radio interview earlier." Cora said laying next to him. It was the night and they were relaxing together before to officially go to bed. Since two weeks, Kal was spending the night to be by Cora's side, but he was still not living with them. They just didn't want to rush things between them. If they didn't feel right about something, they weren't doing it.  

He raised his eyebrow, "Really ? I mean, I didn't know you were listening to it." 

"Oh, I had nothing to do." She smiled at him. 

"Keep playing." 

She intertwined her legs with his, "Or what…? "

He smirked and kissed her nose, "You're something else." 

She giggled, "For real though, I really really liked it and thanks for protecting us from the media. I didn't even see the paparazzi taking those pictures. We have to be more careful."

He nodded agreeing, "Definitely. I thought about having bodyguards around y'all. I don't need it usually, because I know how to be invisible, but now that you and the kids are involved and they really want to know what is going on, we'd rather not take risks."

As she was about to open her mouth to say something else, Kalvin's phone suddenly rang on the nightstand. Cora motioned for him to take it and he took the call. Even if he didn't want to answer, they had to put an end to it. It was becoming ridiculous.

"Wassup ? "

He heard a sniff, "She really left and she took her. She took her away from me. I don't know where they are."

Kal frowned. He thought that actually she was just speaking like that due to her anger, but she was serious. He couldn't believe what he was hearing right now, "NO ! You must be kidding me ! "

"But I'm not. I know…I know I messed up in the past, I'm not proud of myself and I wish I could go back to this moment to change all of that and take another decision, but unfortunately I can't. Now, I grew up and I'm…I'm ready to be a father, I want to be a father, I want to be HER father. I'm learning each day to be one, a good one and I'm loving it. I fell hard for her, she's such an amazing little girl. She's the most beautiful kid of the world. I'll do anything for her, I'll even sacrifice myself for her happiness. Kalvin, I need to find my daughter, I want to be present in her life. And Amy…I love her too, even if I'm not showing it everyday, I know I didn't treat her well, but I'll do better. And if she doesn't want me anymore, then that's fine too, I hope she'll be happy. But mostly, I want to continue to know Mikayla." He broke down and it broke Kal's heart to hear this. His big brother wasn't the type of person to often cry, "I need your help, lil bro. I know you're mad at me, but I need you more than anything else. I need your support."

"Where are you at ? "
