Well, shit - Part 2

Okay so today I'm feeling a bit less 'AAAAAaAaaAaAAaAAaAAaaaAaaAaAAAaAarGH' and a bit more 'oh God' so I'm obviously more composed today and ready to QUOTE SOME STATS.

STAT ATTACK

Not really

Yesterday was a sad day for many, many people, including leave voters.

This is because half the leave voters DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY WERE VOTING FOR.

That's right. Eight hours after the polling stations closed, google reported that searches for 'what happens if we leave the EU' had more than TRIPLED.

AND, to make matters worse, there were more searches of 'what is the EU' than in the same amount of time before the referendum.

Oh yeah. People didn't even know what they were voting out of.

FUCKING IDIOTS.

Okay I'm clearly not calm today nvm I'm not stopping now

There have been things on the news where reporters ask leave voters about what they think of the result, and so many of them are like 'oh yeah I'd've voted differently if I knew what was going to happen' and I'm just there like fuck you you twats what the fuck is wrong with you why the hell did you vote out of something without even doing your fucking research you bloody titballs aaargh

Okay let's just leave that paragraph there and forget it ever happened and move on to...

STATS

Yeah ok i know they're boring so i'll make them interesting idek any more help

Righty ho

I'll stop

Out of all the 18-25 year olds who voted, 75% voted remain. Out of 25-49 years olds, 56% voted remain. 50-64 y/o - 44% remain, and 65+, 39% remain.

Do you see what this is saying? Yes. You do.

It's saying that the older generation have kicked the younger generation out.

AND THEY'RE THEN GOING TO GO AND DIE AND LEAVE US ALL WITH THE PROBLEMS.

Sorry grandma, but you'll be dead within 30 years at the longest, and then what? Then my generation are left to pick up the bloody pieces.

I'm not saying the pieces will be covered in blood, I'm just super British (and not proud atm). But then, you never know.

The older generation lived through a time when Britain wasn't in the EU, and they have some ridiculous delusion that times were better than. NO. THEY WEREN'T. STOP FUCKING LYING TO YOURSELF AND EVERYONE ELSE.

In fact, I was talking to my grandma about this, and I asked her why the hell she thought it would be a good idea to vote leave, and if she's regretting it now.

And do you know what she said?

"You'll thank me in thirty years, your generation will. We've got your country back for you."

And I just stood there, and stared at her. And then, I was so angry, I slammed the door in her face.

OH

BURN

THAT'S RIGHT

I SASSED MAI ELDER

SHE MAY WELL BE MY ELDER BUT SHE SURE AS FUCK ISN'T MY BETTER

okay I'll stop

And then I went upstairs and seethed.

WHAT THE HELL? GOT MY COUNTRY BACK? I NEVER LOST MY COUNTRY, YOU IGNORANT TWATS!

I have no problem with other people living in 'my country'. WE ALL LIVE IN THE SAME WORLD, GUYS! SHARING IS CARING!

The EU hasn't 'taken 'our' country away'. It's still our country.

That's like saying that every time I get a haircut, it's 'taken the old me away'. NOPE. I'm different, sure, but I'm still ME. Just like when Britain joined the EU, it became different, sure (better, as well), but it's still Britain.

EXCEPT IT WON'T BE BRITAIN SOON, WILL IT? THAT'S RIGHT. BECAUSE SCOTLAND ARE HAVING ANOTHER REFERENDUM.

That was smooth af wasn't it

Okay so I'm actually using the wrong terminology here, so let's get something cleared up.

The 'British Isles' includes England, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Wales and Scotland, plus a few other islands scattered around us.

the 'United Kingdom' refers to Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales.

'Great Britain' is England, Scotland and Wales.

'Ireland' is the Republic of Ireland (RoI) and Northern Ireland.

When people say 'Brexit', that means Britain Exit. HOWEVER it's actually United Kingdom exit, seeing as Northern Ireland is also included.

But when Scotland leaves, what happens then? HM? HMMMM? It's not the UK any more, or even Britain. IT'S NOTHING.

And Scotland will leave, seeing as 45% of them voted to leave Britain even when they didn't have a huge reason to, and now they have a MASSIVE REASON. ie - THEY VOTED STAY BUT ENGLAND DRAGGED THEM DOWN.

And Northern Ireland will have a referendum too, most likely, because *clears throat*

Northern Ireland and the RoI used to be super at war with each other and stuff, and so extra special care had to be taken to ensure that the border between the two countries was peaceful, and didn't have guns or anything like that. But now that the RoI is in the EU, and Northern Ireland isn't, the border has to be far more strict. There will have to be guns. And that can't really happen.

SO I'd say there's a 65% chance that NI and the RoI will both be in the EU, and a 97% chance that Scotland will. THAT'S SOME GOOD ODDS FOR THEM BOTH LEAVING US AND LEAVING ENGLAND AND WALES ALL ON THEIR OWN.

You see, England and Wales voted to leave, but Scotland and Northern Ireland voted to stay. SO THEY'LL BE ANGRY THAT THEY'VE BEEN DRAGGED DOWN WITH US, AM I RIGHT?

Any scots here, I just want to say, on behalf of all the Stay voters - We're so sorry. Honestly. We didn't want this either. But you have your chance to leave us now, and make your own way. Do it. Grasp your chance in both hands. You don't want to be dragged down by mistakes that you didn't make.

Also Northern Irish people. You can have that advice too.

Okay so I'm going to stop now seeing as this got super long but I'm not done here yet. I WILL RETURN AGAIN. WHEN I'M LESS ANGRY (ie never).

No not really I'll probably be back tomorrow.

I'm sorry, anyone in the UK. Im so sorry that some MINDLESS PENSIONERS decided to drag us all down. I'm genuinely sorry. Even though it wasn't my fault.

I HATE BEING BRITISH

Okay bye
