After taking pictures and answering a couple questions about their relationship, Natasha and Steve finally made it inside.

When they walked inside they were offered a drink, Natasha took it and quickly drank it, then she grabbed Steve's glass and drank it too.

"Okay, take it all in." Steve says

"Let's go." Natasha says and took him further inside.

Steve and Natasha talked to some others while drinking a lot of champagne.

"You still sober enough for your speech?" Steve asks

"I got a speech?!" Natasha asks

"You didn't prepare one?" Steve asks

"I'll just wiggle it out of my head." Natasha says

"Good idea." Steve says

"Yeah." Natasha says and gave him a high five.

"Are you two drunk?" Pepper asks

"Mhm, what?" Natasha asks

"Can I have your attention please?" Alexei says from the stage into the microphone.

"Oh God." Natasha says

Steve put his arm around her waist and gave it a squeeze, she immediately felt a bit better.

"Tonight we are announcing our new COO. Me and my lovely wife chose someone close to our hearts, and we know this person will do her job perfectly." Alexei says

"Oh please, the only thing Yelena can do perfectly is going to parties and getting drunk." Natasha says

"Wait." Tony says, "You aren't the new COO?"

"No." Natasha says stating the obvious.

"I'm so sorry, Nat. I know how much you wanted this." Pepper says

"It's okay." Natasha says

"Give a warm welcome to our new COO of Romanoff Enterprise, Yelena Romanoff." Alexei says

Everyone clapped and Natasha slowly clapped, then she quickly snatched a champagne glass from a tray a waiter was holding while walking by.

"Good luck with your speech." Steve says

"Thanks, baby." Natasha says and pecked his lips.

Natasha walked to the stage and didn't care to listen to her sister's speech.

"Now a word from my big sister, Natasha Romanoff." Yelena says

Everyone clapped and Natasha gave a hug to her little sister. She walked to the microphone and the lights flashed into her eyes.

"Hi, everyone. Thank you all so much for coming tonight." Natasha says, meanwhile backstage her parents were hoping she wouldn't screw this up. "When I first heard Yelena was the new COO, I was so happy for her. As a big sister I support her in any way. So congratulations to my little sister, Yelena Romanoff, for becoming the new COO."

Everyone clapped and Natasha put on a fake smile. Some reporters took a family picture of the Romanoff's before they were asked to leave since now it was a private celebration.

"You did great." Melina says

"Well I can tell a lie or two." Natasha says, "Now excuse me, I'm going home with my handsome boyfriend."

"Are you drunk?" Yelena asks

"As if you weren't sometimes during events like this." Natasha says and walked away. "Let's go."

"Okay." Steve says, "The car is already at front."

Steve supported Natasha as they stepped inside the car, they avoided all the reporters and they finally sat inside the quiet car.

Natasha and Steve quickly locked lips and he pulled Natasha in his lap.

The car stopped and Steve stepped out of the car, while holding Natasha like a bride.

The two went inside the elevator and soon arrived at Natasha's apartment. Steve walked to the bedroom and put her on the bed.

"Good morning." Steve says and put a tray of waffles on Natasha her nightstand.

Natasha sat up while holding her head and the sheet over her chest.

"It smells amazing." Natasha says

"I know." Steve says

"But I rather have something else." Natasha says

"You haven't eaten since dinner last night." Steve says

"So? There's something else I want." Natasha says, "Come here baby, please?"

"Are you always this turned on the morning?" Steve asks

"If you're just sitting on my bed with only boxers, yes." Natasha says, "Also I'm naked, so that could be it."

"One quick round, because I did my best with making this food." Steve says

"Deal." Natasha says

"What if it's me?" Natasha asks

"What?" Steve asks while putting noodles in his mouth.

"The job." Natasha says, "What if I wasn't good enough, and that's why I didn't get it."

"No, Tasha, you're perfect for the job, better than perfect." Steve says

"Then why did he gave it to Yelena?" Natasha asks, Steve stayed quiet and looked down at his box of noodles. "You don't know."

"Baby, he was stupid not to choose you." Steve says

"I know." Natasha says

"Want some more noodles?" Steve asks and put his box in front of her.

"Yes." Natasha says, she grabbed the box and started to eat.

It was Monday morning, around 10am Steve arrived at Romanoff Enterprise, not to see Natasha, but to see her father.

Steve knocked on the door and he heard Alexei say enter. Steve entered the office and Alexei told him to sit in front of him.

"If you scheduled this meeting to ask for my permission to marry Natasha, the answer is no." Alexei says

"Noted." Steve says, "I'm not here for that."

"Then why are you here?" Alexei asks

"Why didn't you give Natasha the position? She has worked here for twelve years. She knows the company inside out and still she doesn't get the position." Steve says

"Well I got a simple answer on that." Alexei says

"What? That Yelena is younger? Newer? Fresher?" Steve asks

"No." Alexei says, "You."

"Me?" Steve asks, "What do I have to do with any of this?"

"Believe me, I wanted to give Natasha the job, but then you got involved in her life." Alexei says

"You literally told Natasha her best friend to make sure me and Nat would get into the news together." Steve says

"Yes. For one time, or two. Not for this." Alexei says, "I know how you are, Rogers. And I know you will break her heart."

"I will do no such thing, sir." Steve says, "I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm here to give my girl the best position."

"Your girl? It's funny how you used to dump girls after one night." Alexei says, "Tell me Rogers, what's so special about my daughter? Why is she different from all those others?"
