"Here we are." Steve says as they entered Natasha's apartment.

"Take me to the couch." Natasha says

"Okay." Steve says

Steve put her on the couch and took off her high heels and coat, he put a blanket over her and made two cups of coffee. He handed her one cup and sat down beside her.

"What happened?" Steve asks

"I went to his office and Yelena and my mom were there too, and then he gave Yelena the job." Natasha says with glossy eyes.

"Nat, I'm so sorry." Steve says and hugged her. "He made a dumb mistake, you deserved it."

"I might have told him I hate him and then I went to the liquor store and got drunk." Natasha says

"Awwh, Nat, I'm really sorry." Steve says

"She didn't work there until she got the COO position, I don't understand why." Natasha says

"Why don't you ask him tomorrow." Steve says

"What if I want to quit at his company?" Natasha says

"Then I'm sure there are tons of people who would want to hire you, if not them, then my mom would love to have you in her charity." Steve says

"What about Rogers Enterprise?" Natasha says

"I don't want us to work in the same building." Steve says

"Why not?" Natasha asks

"Because, if we ever break up it will be awkward, and we got a strict rule of no dating inside the company." Steve says

"Okay, I understand." Natasha says

"Wanna watch tv and cuddle?" Steve asks

"Yes, please." Natasha says

"Why?" Natasha says while barging into her father's office.

"No goodmorning?" Alexei says without looking up.

"Goodmorning. Why?" Natasha says

"Why what?" Alexei says

"Look at me damn it!" Natasha yells and trew his papers from his desk.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Alexei yells back and stood up.

"You chose Yelena! She hasn't worked here for the past twelve years like I have!" Natasha yells, "I don't understand why you didn't choose me for the job!"

"She's young, and she's fresh out of college." Alexei says

"I'm only three years older than her!" Natasha yells

"Stop yelling right now Natalia! I might be your father, but I can still fire you!" Alexei yells

"No need! I will just quit myself!" Natasha yells and left her father was too stunned to speak. "You will have my two week notice by the end of the day on your desk."

Natasha left the office and went inside hers, she grabbed a box and started to fill it.

"You got fired?" Maria asks

"I quit." Natasha says

"What? Why?" Maria asks

"I worked for the COO job for twelve years, and now my sister just swoops in and takes the job." Natasha says

"Yelena is our new COO?" Maria asks

"Yes, my dad is announcing it tonight at that gala." Natasha says

"Isn't that your first appearance with your boyfriend?" Maria asks

"Yes, I'm really excited. For the appearance, I couldn't care less about the gala." Natasha says

"So, where are you going next?" Maria asks

"I am going to try and get a job at Sarah Rogers her charity." Natasha says

"Sarah Rogers? I love her so much, she's a huge role model for me." Maria says

"She's Steve's mother." Natasha says

"That's awesome!" Maria says

"You look stunning." Steve says and kissed Natasha's shoulder.

Natasha was looking at herself in the mirror. She was wearing a long black evening dress. It fitted perfectly around her body. It didn't have sleeves, just two broad straps that covered almost her full shoulders. The neckline was high and she put the necklace Steve gave her on her neck.

"I bought this dress for when I would get the job, seems like a waste of money." Natasha says

"It's not a waste, because now, you will wear it just for me." Steve says

"Okay." Natasha says

"The car is at front, let's go." Steve says and grabbed her hand.

They walked to the elevator and stepped inside. Steve helped Natasha get into her long black furry coat.

"You know it's May, right?" Steve asks

"At night it gets colder." Natasha says, "Besides, this coat looks great with my dress."

"You look like a movie star." Steve says

"I know." Natasha says and pulled her hair out of her coat.

The two walked out of the building, Steve opened the door for her as they stepped outside. Steve opened the car door for Natasha. She stepped inside and Steve sat beside her.

Steve linked their fingers and gave her hand a squeeze. Natasha looked up to him and leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Thank you." Natasha says

"For what?" Steve asks

"Being here for me." Natasha says, "The Steve I knew dumped a girl after a night."

"Well that Steve changed for his girl." Steve says

"You're the best." Natasha says and hugged his waist. She looked up to him and pecked his lips.

"You know we can just skip this thing and go home." Steve says

"As much as I want that, Yelena is still my sister, I have to be there for a good image." Natasha says and rested her head back on Steve's shoulder. "After we had a couple drinks, made photo's, and talked to other people, we can go home."

"We will go whenever you want." Steve says and kissed her head. "We're here."

"Here we go." Natasha says

They took off their coats and left them in the car, Steve held out his hand to help Natasha step out of the car.

As soon as they stepped out of the car the cameras began to flash on them and the questions of reporters were thrown at their heads.
