It's been two weeks since Natasha asked for consideration with the COO position. Her father told her that she should come to his office today, because he made a decision.

The whole week Steve calmed Natasha down from her nerves. They had a lot of chocolate cake, a couple work outs together, and lots of baths with eucalyptus scent bath salt, because that makes you very relaxed.

"You will get the job, Nat." Steve says and his massaged her shoulders.

"What if I don't get it?" Natasha asks, she turned around and looked at Steve.

Steve cupped her cheeks and looked in her eyes.

"You have worked for the company officially for three years, you know it inside out since you got your first internship there at fifteen. Overall you worked there for twelve years, and you're only twenty-seven now." Steve says, "You're awesome, and this has been your dream since forever."

"That's... true." Natasha says

"You got this." Steve says and pecked her lips. His arms snacked around her waist and he pulled her closer. "And tonight we will celebrate with steak, red wine, and some love making."

"Love making, huh?" Natasha says

"Because we really like each other." Steve says and kissed her again.

"We should get going." Natasha says

"I will drive you, and pick you up at 5." Steve says

They went downstairs into the garage.

Steve drove Natasha to work in his black Tesla. Natasha pecked his lips before exiting the car.

Natasha pulled down her black dress a bit as she walked inside the elevator. She was never this nervous for work. Soon she would get a corner office, beautiful skyline view of New York, a personal assistant and finally some respect of the male workers in the office.

The elevator doors opened and Natasha stepped out, she walked to her father's office and knocked on the door. She heard him say "enter", so she walked inside.

She saw her sister, Yelena, sitting in a chair across her father, and her mother was standing beside her father.

"Natasha, have a seat." Alexei says

Natasha took off her long black coat and put it at the side of the chair and she put her purse on the floor.

"So, I have given it a thought and I have decided on who I want to give the job." Alexei says

"Go ahead, sweetie, tell them." Melina says with a smile as she rubbed her husband's shoulder

"For my new COO, I chose..." Alexei says, "Yelena."

"Oh my God! Really?" Yelena squeals and hugged her father.

Natasha didn't even move, it was like she was frozen, or had a big error in her head. She worked for the company for twelve years, twelve years of hard work. Her sister didn't even work at this company until a minute ago.

"Nat? Why don't you say something?" Melina says

"I will." Natasha brings out while fighting back her tears. "I hate you."

"Natasha, that's a bit mean." Melina says

"No, I'm serious." Natasha says and picked up her coat and purse as she stood up. "I hate you so, so much right now."

"Sweetheart, just be happy for your sister." Melina says

"I want to." Natasha says, "But I can't."

Natasha walked out of the office and slammed the door close. She ran to the elevator crying. When she was inside the elevator, luckily alone, she put her coat back on and called an uber.

Natasha walked out of the building and stepped inside the car.

"To the nearest liquor store, please." Natasha says

The driver started to drive and Natasha grabbed a small mirror from her purse and wiped her tears away. She covered her red puffy eyes with some make up.

The car stopped and she told him to wait until she came back, she would give him a big tip.

Natasha walked inside the store and went to the desk.

"Hi, how can I help you?" The man behind the desk says

"Hi, I need a bottle of your strongest vodka." Natasha says

"That would be 35 dollars, miss. Do you need anything else?" The man says

"No, this is great." Natasha says and scanned her debit card.

"Do you want me to make it a gift?" The man says

"Oh, no, this is for me, there's nothing to celebrate." Natasha says and grabbed the bottle from the counter.

"Have a nice day." The man says

"I won't, but thank you, have a nice day." Natasha says

Natasha walked out of the store and stepped back inside the uber.

"To Rogers Enterprise, please." Natasha says, "Do you mind if I drink here?"

"No, as long as you don't spill." The man says and started to drive.

Natasha unscrewed the cap of the bottle and took a swing straight from the bottle.

After a twenty minute drive she arrived at the building, Natasha paid the driver and stepped out.

Natasha walked inside, the girl from the reception called her name, but Natasha just drank from the bottle and went inside the elevator.

Once Natasha reached Steve's floor she stumbled to his office.

"Miss, you can't go in there." Steve's assistant says, Natasha couldn't remember her name.

Natasha put up her middle finger to the assistant and opened the door. She shut the door and locked it.

"You, me, sex now, on your chair or desk, I don't care." Natasha says and drank from the bottle again.

"Nat, I'm in a meeting." Steve says

"Don't care." Natasha says

"Gentleman, I have to reschedule this meeting, private matters." Steve says and hang up on the online meeting. "Nat, what are you doing?"

"Trying to unzip my dress so you don't have to take it off me." Natasha says, "Can you take it off? The zipper is stuck."

"Nat, baby, I'm not having sex with you." Steve says and zipped her dress back up.

"Why not?" Natasha whines

"I won't take advantage of you, let me take you home, sober you up, and talk about whatever happened." Steve says

"Okay." Natasha says, "Sex after?"

"Not today." Steve says and helped her into her coat.

"Can we get another bottle of vodka on our way home? I almost drank this one empty and I didn't even buy it an hour ago, so I need another bottle for our drive home." Natasha says

"You drank this within an hour?" Steve asks and Natasha nodded. "Okay, we're going home now."

"I'm Russian, we take our liquor good." Natasha says and almost fell over her own feet. "Carry me, please?"

"Alright." Steve says and picked her up as a bride. He grabbed his case and her purse and walked out of his office. "Sharon cancel all my meetings today."

"Okay, boss." Sharon says
