I walked down the hallway and turned the corner. After a little bit of a walk I got to the big wooden double doors. Two guards on either side and they nodded at me. Each grabbed a handle and let me through the doors. Inside was a lengthy table in the center that could fit at least twenty people maybe more. It was a nice mahogany wood with matching chairs.

As like a throne room in a king and queens castle. Four big thrones in a rounded stage in the front of the room. Each high clave member sitting in a chair. There where others but they weren't the higher members. So those other four people sat at lower seats. Not that they weren't as powerful as the other four. They just weren't the highest ranked members.

The clave were a bunch of strict messed up individuals. All about strict rules and following the laws. Now they want to offer me a spot in the court. After all the seven centuries I've lived through each damn generation. Now of all times they decide it's a good time to invite me.

"Welcome Miss Shadowhunter" Clara thimesworth said

"Yes nice of you to join us" Evelin said

"We have great matters to discuss" Joshua said

"What kind of matters are we speaking?" I asked

"Keneth will be stepping down for reasons of personal issues, we have been looking for a good shadowhunter to fill his position" Riley said

So let me explain something really fast before I continue. Evelin, Clara, Joshua and Keneth are the top four court members. Then comes Riley, Hannah, Toby, and Jessica the next four members. In total eight high ranking members of the clave court. Four are the top with the most power in decision making. The next four have almost the same power but not.

"You want me to take Keneth's place on the clave court?" I asked shocked but I didn't show it

"Isn't that what he said?" Jessica scoffs

"No offense Jessica, but the rudeness doesn't earn you points in my acceptance for the position" I said as politely as possible

Theses people are all about respect and rules.

"That is not her intention Miss Shadowhunter" Clara said

"Why did you choose me?" I asked

"You've been around Idris for seven centuries and sixty four years, you have the upmost wisdom and knowledge of the shadow world, we have been trying through many generations to appoint you, but we came into complications when you" Evelin started

I felt my emotions rise, my eyes flashed purple. I could see the expression of fear on each of there faces. My claws came out as I tried to take deep breaths.

"Do not and I repeat do not bring up my lost parapatai" I snapped

"We didn't mean to upset you Miss Eastwood, we simply want to make you an offer" Joshua said

"Which is?" I asked

"The newest generation of shadowhunters are arriving, we maybe the clave, but we not only want you to partake in taking Keneth's place, but you'll be head of all institutions around the globe" Clara said

To say I was shocked would be an understatement. After all theses years now of all times they want to do this. The head off all institutions sounds like a fun thing. As for partaking in the clave court. That I don't like because I don't do making or braking of laws. I don't do punishment for those who break said laws.

"I'll tell you what" I began

They looked hesitant but also like they were waiting for me to continue.

"I'll accept your offer on the head of all institutions" I said

"What about the clave court?" Riley asks

"No for various reasons" I said

"Can we have a list" Jessica said

"One that attitude right there, I'm older than you and I'm way stronger I can easily harm you no matter clave laws, two I've been around for seven centuries and out of all that you chose now to invite me, three after everything I've been through everything I've seen the clave do to my people to the people were sworn to protect I'd rather not be part of that, betray my people" I said

"You have a deal" Keneth said

"May I be dismissed now?" I asked

"Your free to go Miss Shadowhunter" Joshua said

I walked out of the hall and back to my group of people.

"I'm off to the seelie court I have business with the seelie Queen" I said

"What did the clave want?" Andrew asked

"I am officially head of all institutions" I said with a straight face

"Wow that's big" James said

"They wanted me to take Keneth's place in the court but I refused" I said

"Why that is a wonderful opportunity?" Phoebe asked

"For the pure reason of being part downworlder" I said and walked out of room

I then created a portal and thought about the seelie Queen.

"Your majesty" I bowed as I appeared in front of her

"Trinity Eliana Shadowhunter what do I owe the pleasure?" She asked

"I've come to inform you although I'm sure you are aware, the invitation I was just given" I said

"To join the clave court?" She asked

"Yes and I'm sure your aware of my response" I said

"Yes and I am indeed grateful for your response and the friendship you've provided the downworld" she says

"I will always be loyal to my people, I am after all more of a downworlder than I am a shadowhunter" I said

"You are part warlock and part werewolf but also part demon and part angle" she says

"Don't hold that against me remember everything I've done for you" I said

"How could I forget" she smiled

"I'm going to return to London very soon, please don't hesitate to send me a fire message if you need anything" I said and bowed

"Your welcome anytime miss shadowhunter" she said and i used a portal to get away

Idris

Trinitys POV

I was invited back to Idris once again after a round of tours. By tours I don't mean what the military does. I mean going from different locations of institutes. Los Angeles, London,
New York, and so forth too many institutes to name all of them. I came back to Idris for very important business. Stephen herondale a ancestor to James and others of course.

When I found that Marcus had married I didn't attend the wedding. Not for disrespect but for no invitation and well respect. He always flirted with me so I assume his wife wouldn't be too keen on me. Although when I heard Stephen was having a child who was Marcus's child. I instantly went to Idris for I was invited as well.
