Trinitys POV

I didn't not return for his birth for I was informed he passed. Sad as it may be I found out céline had trouble in the past. With miscarriages that is, it was hard for her to carry to full term. So I've been in London for the time being. I plan to visit Idris as I hear yet another child is being born. From the Lightwood family this time around.

A wonderful girl addition to the family that is. The father I knew all too well after all I saw his birth. His parents I knew, his grandparents too. Oh that rhymed what a wonderful thing too.

"Magnus" I shouted as I entered the portal to New York

"Ahh Lina what a pleasure as always" he said rolling his eyes

"Magnus it's good to see you" I said and hugged him

"What's the occasion you don't hug often" he says

"well I'm returning to Idris for another Lightwood was born female this time" I smiled

"Oh wonderful be carful I hear it's been bad since you've last visited" he said

"Where did you hear that?" I asked

"Seelie queen of course" he says

"How is she doing these days?" I asked

"Bourbon?" He asked

"Always and" before I finished

"Three ice cubes" he said with a smirk

"After all these years you still remember" I smiled

"Can't forget your favorite drink pretty lady" he said handing it to me

"Magnus can I tell you something" I said as I stared into my cup

"What's on your mind sweetheart?" He asked

"When I heard the Lightwood family had a son something inside me changed" I began

"What do you mean?" He asked

"They sent pictures via fire message and the boy even at the near age of two he umm" I didn't know how to say it

"You feel it don't you?" He asked

I looked up at him with wide eyes, how did he know.

"You have this look in your eye that tells me everything" he says as if reading my mind

"Yes but maybe I shouldn't go to see the new Lightwood at all" I said

"After centuries of waiting you want to wait longer?" He asked

"He's a baby Magnus" I snapped feeling my eyes flash purple

Magnus wasn't phased by my outburst or the changing of my eyes. He too had different eyes that got him only pain in the past. His cat eyes are considered relation to demons. His mother killed herself when she found out. As for his step father he yelled at Magnus and well yep. Magnus got angry and used his magic on him.

He was just a young boy back them only five or six. He still gets upset with himself about things related to it. He buried the memory I can tell you that for certain. What he didn't bury was his promise to help other downworlders. He's taken a few people in over the years. Downworlders who can't help themselves and need help with control.

He vowed that after that day he'd never purely harm a soul. With certain points in mind after all. Magnus and I have been through a lot and some together at that. We know each other very well and we've been there for one another for a very long time.

"He might be a child, but what's your real fear?" He asked

"His parents won't understand the connection Magnus and I don't feel like forcing that upon him growing up" I said

"Fine as you wish, but Robert and Maryse want you to be there and you know it" he said

He's right they would want me there they do want me there. I just don't think it's the right time for me. He's a young child actually he's just a baby. I can't see him his parents wouldn't understand. I swished my bourbon around in the glass. Staring at the contents within the glass as I thought over things. I could feel Magnus eyes on me but I didn't mind.

I know now that I can't do what I intended to do here. The main reason I came here to see Magnus. Me and Magnus have had fun a few times. But now that I've found my soulmate anchor. I know it is wrong to even be having that thought. So I vow to be alone for various years until he's is old enough.

"I have some business to attend to, I'll see you later Magnus" I said

"Think about it Lina really think about it" he says

"Maybe Magnus maybe" I said and stepped through the portal I created

Jace wayland and his friend Alexander Lightwood. Closest bonded pair in their generation. Parapatai, their ceremony bing today. The Lightwood family invited Trinity to Idris. To watch them celebrate their parapatai bond. Trinity said yes, but she wouldn't meet Alec. Of course the parents of the young Lightwood didn't understand.

She wanted to tell them and she thought deeply about it. She was more of a downworlder than she was angle. She had warlock, werewolf and demon within her. Even if she knew Robert and his wife Maryse since they were babies. She didn't keep close connections to the family. She distanced herself and threw herself into work.

Into keeping her people and the filthy mundanes safe. She strongly disliked the mundanes for various reasons. The biggest one being they cause so much trouble. Getting killed by all different beings of the shadow world. Getting themselves high off vampire venom. Turning into werewolves, changing into vampires. Finding out about the shadow world itself.
