SUGA Proposed to his current girlfriend, Min Lilly

Bighit and SUGA have confirmed that SUGA and Min Lilly are now engaged.

Min Lilly and SUGA started dating 6 months ago. The rumours and complaints that spread during that time apparently didn't stop the lovers from moving to the next step.

Bighit made the following statement:

When Min Yoongi (SUGA) came to us about his new love, we decided it was time to allow the members to date. Yoongi confirmed the rumours were true last night. All we have to say is congratulations to Min Yoongi and Min Lilly!

A week after this statement, the BTS members had a V-Live, congratulating the two lovebirds. The following is a summary of what was said:

RM: Married huh? Aren't you a bit young?

(Members laughing)

SUGA: What's the point in waiting when you're sure you have the one?

(Members scoff and groan)

JIN: Congrats Yoongi!

(Members clap and cheer)

Jungkook: Don't skip out on us!

SUGA: You wanna die? (Quietly)

(Members laugh uncontrollably)

V: Seriously Hyung, you have to work twice as hard now!

SUGA: ARMY, I won't ever stop making music, even when I'm old. You guys better keep waiting for our comebacks, Okay?

JHOPE: ARMY, we love you. SUGA loves you. Keep loving us.

JIMIN: And make sure you're looking after yourselves!

RM: Be happy.

JIN: We love you!

V: Stay healthy ARMY!

The V-Live and the news were followed by a lot of love:

"I'm Just glad he's happy. We will always support BTS and their decisions"

"I'm so happy! Jimin! Keep your ring finger empty!"

"Well, she's cute I guess. He looks happy in the V-Live. Congrats Yoongi Oppa,"

"I'm so sad! But he looks so happy :( You break his heart and we'll hunt you down!"

"Well, as long as he's happy, I'm happy. I've never seen Yoongi so happy in a V-Live. Did you see that aegyo?"

"Woah~ He loves her enough to act cute on the V-Live? I'm so happy for him!"

"I'm so glad they ignored the hate! The number of idols who break up because of their fans... just stay happy Yoongi! Don't worry about what we think, just do what makes you happy"

"We better get an invite to this wedding!"

There have been some negative responses to the news, along with a few threats. Bighit confirmed they are reporting all threats to the police, so fans need to be careful of what they write online.

Yoongi:

Yoongi beams as he enters the Bighit entertainment building. Everything looks so beautiful today. He waves at the receptionist staff, grinning like a lunatic. They smile awkwardly, waving back. He passes them and heads to the elevators. When he turns the corner, he spots Namjoon waiting for the elevator.

"RM!" Namjoon spins around at his name, staring open-mouthed as Yoongi skips over to him.

"Yoongi..." Namjoon murmurs.

"It's a beautiful day, isn't it?" Yoongi replies as the doors open. They enter, one with joyous enthusiasm, and the other with zombie-like shock.

"I know we've already confirmed the news, and I know we've already spoken to the fans, but I'm going to say this again," Namjoon sighs, "It's too soon to be getting married,"

"Namjoon, I'm going to break your arm if you say that again," Yoongi mutters his threat through the teeth of his wide grin, "I know she's the one,"

"It doesn't matter," Namjoon frowns, "You're still young, shouldn't you wait a little longer?"

"Why?" Yoongi shrugs, "Marrying young isn't a crime,"

"But the fans..."

"Haven't you seen the love and support we've received?" Yoongi smirks, "The fans are excited I'm willing to marry a non-celebrity,"

"Okay, our popularity is increasing, so what?" Namjoon turns to Yoongi, "You're still young. Idols usually start marriage when they're closer to 30. When they're ready to leave the entertainment scene,"

"Namjoon," Yoongi turns as well, his angry eyes looking satanic beside his smile, "I already said I am going to put music first and Lilly second, what more do you need to hear?"

Namjoon sighs, turning away. It's not that Namjoon doesn't want Yoongi to marry Lilly, but that most kpop idols marry when they're willing to settle down and stop making music. To the fans, it's like saying BTS will be disbanding.

Yoongi understands this, but he doesn't care. He's never followed traditional kpop rules, none of BTS has. So why should marriage be any different? He'll still be the same rapper he always was.

It's not like she's pregnant. It's not like he's planning on settling down. He just wants an official, legal way to mark her as his. Engagement rings are very good at that.

Plus, she's perfect. She is patient with him – most of the time. She is beautiful and likes music just as much as Yoongi does. She's attractive, beautiful in his eyes. She fits his ideal type like it was a mould made for her.

Why waste time waiting when he can have her now?

As the elevator dings, Namjoon and Yoongi step out. Yoongi has stopped skipping. He's tired enough as it is.

They head to the practice room to find the cameras are set up.

"Hello taken man!" Taehyung runs up to Yoongi, chuckling.

"We're filming today," Jungkook says tonelessly, "Another BANGTAN BOMB episode," He turns and makes his way to Jimin.

Yoongi nods, frowning at Jungkook's retreating back. Jungkook can't like Lilly that much, can he? Even Jimin has found it in his heart to be happy for them.

Too many BTS members like her, huh? I'm glad I put a ring on her. Yoongi smirks to himself, pushing Jungkook's behaviour from his mind.

Today's episode is mainly about the maknae line, so the rest of them will be in the background, practising, resting or watching.

Hoseok has decided to join in on the maknae line's silliness, and Namjoon and Seokjin have decided to watch them make a fool of themselves. Yoongi is stuck being tortured by the member's jokes and pranks.

Once filming is finished, Jungkook joins the producer to edit and post it. Yoongi and Namjoon head to the recording studios to work. Taehyung and Jimin are going to do another video. Seokjin has decided to rest in the practice room, watching Hoseok practice on his own.

In the time Yoongi spends in the studio, he has written two love songs, both of which have been rejected by Namjoon and the other music producers.

"You can keep those for an album if you'd like, or upload them to SoundCloud, but we need something different for the next album," Namjoon persists, cringing a little more as he glances down at the lyrics.

"What's wrong with it?" Yoongi snaps.

"There is nothing wrong with it," Namjoon smirks, "It's just that it was written by you,"

Yoongi smacks Namjoon on the back of the head lightly. Namjoon chuckles as Yoongi leaves the room, trying not to pout.

He decides to hang out with Seokjin, Hoseok, Taehyung and Jimin in the practice room. They make fun of him a little more, but eventually, leave him to nap in the corner.

He opens his phone to find a text he didn't hear before.

LILLY: Hey, how's work?

He grins, replying instantly.

YOONGI: It's alright, it would be better if you were here.

LILLY: You know I can't leave my house right now. Not until that person is found.

YOONGI: I know... I just miss you.

LILLY: I'll see you soon, okay?

YOONGI: Alright, I'll call you later, okay?

LILLY: Yeah, yeah. Get back to work before Namjoon tells me I'm a bad influence again!

YOONGI: Ignore him, I've been doing what I want for as long as I've been a BTS member.

LILLY: Ha, ha. Bye!

YOONGI: Bye baby x

Yoongi puts his phone down, grinning like a kid.

All of a sudden, Taehyung appears with the camera.

"What are you grinning about?" He asks.

"Obviously Lilly," Jimin smirks, looking into the camera and giggling.

"Go," Yoongi murmurs, his smile slipping from his face as he sighs. Jimin and Taehyung snicker, turning to pick on Seokjin.

Yoongi closes his eyes, taking a deep breath. His thoughts stray to the person Lilly was talking about. Bang PD said a fan has been emailing them with photos of Lilly leaving Bighit, and of her walking around late at night from the past week – since the news came out. They keep asking for Lilly's address. It's nothing anymore drastic than previous threats, but Bang PD and Namjoon have a bad feeling about this one. Yoongi agrees, but it does come with her being locked down at home, which is driving them both insane. So in the meantime, Lilly can't leave and Yoongi can't go see her.

Bang PD had called the police and they are tracking the fan. The police will be patrolling her house.

They'll catch them before anything happens. I'll see her soon.

With that thought in mind, he slips into a dream he forgets as soon as he wakes, full of blood, screaming, and crying.

"Should we do an EATJIN before we call it a night?" Seokjin asks, already looking for delivery food to eat.

"Can I join in?" Jimin asks, "I'm so hungry!"

"Okay, I'll feed you,"

"What about us?" Taehyung pouts, turning to Jungkook to share the joke, but Jungkook is staring off into the distance, his expression blank.

"Don't worry, I'll order enough for everyone," Seokjin grins as they cheer.

"Thanks, Jin!" Hoseok jumps cutely, joining Taehyung in an excited dance.

Yoongi sighs, pulling out his phone and texting Lilly.

YOONGI: I'm finished work for the day, can I come over early?

He puts his phone back in his pocket, waiting for the tell-tale vibrating alert.

But it doesn't come.

The food arrives, along with fresh cheers and thank you's from the BTS members, but still no text. He watches as Seokjin sneaks off to an empty room to film EATJIN, but no text.

For the umpteenth time, Yoongi pulls out his phone to check for a message, but there is nothing.

"Are you alright?" Jimin asks as Yoongi lets out an involuntary groan.

"Mmm," He sighs, eating a bit more.

"She might be asleep," Jungkook murmurs, looking towards the clock. It's only 9 o'clock. Maybe she did go to bed early tonight?

No, I messaged her 2 hours ago.

Yoongi shakes his head, staring down at his blank phone, begging it to display a message from her.

All of a sudden, the phone flashes. Lilly has finally responded.

LILLY: I am going to bed. Goodnight.

Yoongi frowns down at it, his chest tight and his brain working fast. The message is written in formal Korean, something Lilly hasn't used with Yoongi. Why is she using formal Korean?

"What's wrong now?" Jungkook asks a little forcefully. Jimin frowns at him reproachfully, but Yoongi takes no notice. He stands and squeezes between Jimin and Hoseok, passing his phone to Jimin. Jimin raises his eyebrows in surprise, not looking at the phone.

"Read it," Yoongi snaps fearfully. Jimin looks down at the short message, his frown becoming more pronounced.

"That's strange..." Jimin looks up at Yoongi.

"Has she ever spoken formally to you?" Yoongi asks. The other members go silent, watching Yoongi freak out with wary expressions.

"Only when... we broke up," Jimin blushes, looking down at the message, "But this... this is almost like she didn't write it," Yoongi snatches back his phone.

"Who else could have written it? Huh?"

"Yoongi," Yoongi looks at Jungkook, "She's probably just tired and didn't know what she was writing,"

Yoongi and Jungkook stare at each other for a moment, Yoongi glaring and Jungkook staring impassively.

"Just message her in the morning," Namjoon smiles, "There are police patrolling her area after the threats. She'll be fine,"

Yoongi's shoulder sag, worry and stress weighing heavily on his shoulders.

Please be okay, Lilly.

Please.

Taehyung and Jimin begin mucking around with Jungkook, trying to take Yoongi's mind off of Lilly and cheer up Jungkook.

Taehyung is tickling Jimin and hiding behind Jungkook, calling him cute names and teasing him.

"Yah!" Taehyung chuckles as Jimin smacks Taehyung's arm cutely.

"Stop it~" He blushes.

Jungkook smirks, helping Taehyung tickle Jimin. Jimin yells, standing up and staring at them with his eyes wide and his fists clenched.

"Stop tickling me!" he says in his furious Satoori accent. Jungkook begins laughing, his cold, frostiness from the day evaporating.

"Yah! You guys are being so loud!" they laugh as Seokjin brings out his recording phone, "The fans are saying you guys are being too noisy!"

Yoongi grins, watching the members argue and tease. Seokjin turns to the camera and says goodbye to the fans. Once he's made sure it's no longer recording, he turns to join in with the younger ones.

Yoongi feels his phone vibrate.

He quickly pulls his phone out, all eyes on him. Everyone has gone silent.

It's bang PD. He answers it, feeling disappointed.

"Yes, Bang PD-nim?"

"Min Yoongi! We have a problem!"

"What's wrong?" Yoongi frowns, the other members coming closer. Yoongi puts the phone on speaker so they can hear.

"We just received an email from the fan!"

"What does it say?" he asks, fear bubbling inside him.

"Just a photo and 3 words,"

"What did they say!" Yoongi yells, clutching the phone.

"It says, 'I've found her' and has a photo of her house!"

Yoongi feels his heart drop as he looks at the other members. Jungkook, Jimin and Namjoon have gone pale, whilst the others just stare at the phone, willing it to not be true.

"Call the police, I'll meet them there," Yoongi snaps.

"I've already..." Yoongi hangs up before he can finish.

He stands and rushes to the counter, fumbling with his keys and wallet.

He feels a hand stabilise his trembling hands, steadying him. Jimin smiles bitterly.

"Let's go," Jimin whispers weakly, trying not to cry. Yoongi nods.

"I'm coming too," Jungkook demands, glaring at Yoongi.

"Me too," Namjoon nods firmly. Yoongi just nods at them, rushing to the door.

"Call us!" Taehyung yells as Namjoon closes the door behind them.

Yoongi runs down the hall to the elevator, hammering the button.

"Come on!" Yoongi screams.

Eventually, the elevator comes up and takes them down. They climb into Yoongi's car, not complaining as Yoongi speeds off.

Please be okay, please be okay.

Yoongi's hands shake as he thinks of that message.

What if the fan wrote that? What if they're hurting her right now?

He turns corners sharply, ignoring the gasps and muttered protests from the other members.

He slams on his brakes right in front of her house, beside the police car. They jump out and rush to the stairs, taking 2 or 3 at a time as they rush up to her apartment.

Yoongi's heart drops as he sees her door open and the police there.

"Lilly..." Yoongi sobs, running toward them. Namjoon, Jungkook and Jimin follow him, looking just as pale and scared as he is.

He bursts in, looking around at the officers milling around.

"Where is she?" He growls, every syllable full of emotion and fear.

One of the officers gesture to the lounge room. Namjoon stays to talk to them as Jungkook, Jimin and Yoongi rush to her.

The officers talking to her look up, a little startled.

Lilly is crying, a bruise on her cheek and forehead, cuts on her lip, face and her arms, along with more red marks down her legs. Her eyes are red from crying and her hands are shaking.

"Y... Yoongi," She starts bawling, reaching her hands out for him. He runs over, pulling her into his arms. He lets out a groan of relief.

"I'm sorry, Lilly, I'm so sorry," tears fall down his face as he clutches her for dear life.

"What happened?" He hears Jungkook ask the officer who was talking to Lilly.

"You'll have to ask her yourself I'm afraid," The officer sighs, tapping Yoongi on the shoulder.

Yoongi lets her go, sitting beside her and holding her hand.

"We've called the ambulance, so they should be here soon. When, or if, she returns here, can you call us? We'll have a patrol car posted out the front of her house,"

Yoongi nods, taking the officer's personal number. He turns his head to stare at Lilly. His heart breaks a million times as he looks at her hurt face and her shaking body.

"We'll be in the kitchen. We'll leave when the ambulance is here," The officer stands and gestures to the other officer to leave the room.

Yoongi looks up at Jimin and Jungkook.

Jimin is crying silently, tears falling slowly down his cheeks as he stares at Lilly's face. Jungkook is staring blankly, his face pale and his fists clenched.

As Namjoon enters, he covers his mouth, his eyes wide and his face pale.

What have I done to her?

Why couldn't I protect her?

Why?
