My entire office was a raging mess.

I couldn't handle the urge and it was driving me fucking crazy. My wolf was restless. We both wanted our mate. Back then when I was mateless, I use to have this crave but it wasn't so uncontrollable. I could handle a full moon but that was then.

Now, I wanted her in my arms and I wanted to mark her as mine.

I growled as I ripped the paintings off the wall. Some unmated wolves satisfy their crave by mating with other unmated wolves but I wasn't one of them. It was only my mate that I wanted and no one else. Only she could satisfy and calm me down. I clenched my fists as I thought about the fact that she wasn't close to me.

I went to her house a few days back but she wasn't there. Her scent was long gone. For female wolves they usually feel the crave a few days before the full moon. But my mate was Luna and that meant it was going to be more painful. I could sense that she was in pain especially right now.

I heard the door open but I didn't pay whoever it was any attention. I was too caught up in the rage of not having my mate near me. It was like a part of me was missing. The full moon was said to be the best time to mate with your other half. Mating consisted of a bite on your mates neck and also sex.

The best time to produce wolf cubs.

The best time to connect as one.

"Son?"

I groaned as I turned and looked at my dad. He was standing there looking at me with sympathy. He knew what this was. He had experienced it when he met mom. It wasn't something that was easy to control.

"I want her dad", I said as my wolf began to get restless wanting to take over. I had to keep control because if he takes over he won't stop until he finds her. I didn't want to scare her without her knowing exactly who I was and what we were both experiencing.

I hate to say it but it still wasn't the right time.

"I know son, but try to hold on. I'm sure she's feeling it as well. The best advice I can give is that when this is over you have to find her. You need to tell her everything before it's too late. You can't be apart from each other for too long".

I listened intently as he spoke. He was right. I'm an Alpha and I need my Luna by my side. I needed to see her and talk to her. Showing up at her house like that is a no no so I would have to see her at the academy, one way or another.

"Take it easy son, when you feel a bit at ease you can come down. The duels are about to begin, the moon is almost at its highest peak", he said as I remembered the battles that will be happening. When the moon is at its highest peak, pack members challenge each other. It was just a way to showcase each other's strength and it wasn't intended to harm anyone.

"I'll be there soon", I replied calmly.1

He nod and touched my shoulder before walking out.

I started stripping and when I was done I went to the bathroom. I turned on the shower and let the cold water run all over my body.

I agreed with my wolf. Her soft delicate fingers tracing my skin as we both subside each other's crave. I got even harder thinking about it.

After I felt a small amount of ease, I left the bathroom naked. A strong scent hit my nose and I turned to see two naked girls on my bed. They reeked of sex and alcohol.

Kayana and Rhia.

They were unmated and slept with anyone once they were craving a release. They have tried to seduce me before but it never worked. I wasn't that type of man and I only wanted my mate.

"Alpha, are you craving us?", Kayana said as she started touching herself. I groaned in disgust as I stared at her. It was just not appealing to me. Her hair was short and you could see her neck literally covered in love bites and bruises.

"No I'm not. I want you both to leave", I said sternly as they eyed me up and down. I growled before going to my closet and pulling on a pair of grey joggers.

"Why Alpha?. It's not like you're mated. We can both satisfy you".

My eyes twitched as I felt my anger boiling up.

"Listen, and listen carefully. I don't want any of you to pleausre me. I already have my Luna. If you know what's good for you both, leave. If not I will see to it that you get punished", I told them, my voice deadly.

They looked at each other and frowned before getting up walking out. If I was a strict Alpha I would've forbid unmated wolves from sleeping with each other. Your mate should be the only one allowed to touch your body and no one else. But, since I'm not like that  everyone's allowed to do what they want. They all have their feelings and minds. They should know what's right from wrong.

I left the room and made my way downstairs. The crave was still lingering and there was only one other way to reduce it.

A viscous fight.

Once outside,  I saw that the ring was formed and the pack members were cheering as my two Zeta's battle each other. They both had impeccable strength and that's why I gave them their titles.

"How is it going?", my beta Dezin asked as he stood beside me. He was the best beta one could ask for. He handled both simple and complex duties when I'm not available and he was more than reliable. If you ever need someone to fight alongside you until death, he was the one.

"Better than I imagined, the cold shower must've helped", I replied as I watched the fight intently. The fight ends when one manages to dominate the other completely. At this rate, it could be either Vinx or Pierre's game.

"You need to find her Alpha. No matter the cost, you need her by your side", he said before there was a huge growl and Pierre managed to pin Vinx on the ground. The crowd cheered and then the match was over. They both shifted and started laughing before they left the circle.

"Alpha, are you going to put on a show for us?".

I looked at King as the crowd started cheering. My wolf puffed his chest out proudly as I smirked and entered the circle. I started stretching wondering who was ready to take me on. No one entered and that's when I looked at my Beta. He smirked widely before entering the ring as well.

"Are you sure you're up for it?", he asked and I laughed with a hint of sarcasm.

"I'm an Alpha, I'm always up for it", I replied as everyone took a few steps back. This fight could get, well, deeper than expected since we both had ideal strength. We both stripped then shifted into our wolf forms. I was slightly bigger than him but I never underestimate a wolf's size. Your size doesn't determine your abilities.

The horn was sounded and he came after me. I dodged him as I released a deep growl. We circled each other watching each other's every move. The pack members were watching intensely waiting for some serious action.

I released a loud growl before I went after him. I knocked him to the ground and went for his throat. I was bigger in size so it took him a while to push me off. He jumped at me but I slipped to the right and grabbed his neck again.

I tackled him to the ground once more and released another growl. This time he couldn't manage to push me off so I took that advantage and latched onto his neck. He howled and I smirked in confidence.

I pulled away and shifted. That was a good match, a bit too quick but still good.

"Is everything going well?", I asked once we were alone. We left the crowd and went to where the food was. We had stacks of meat and more juice than you could ever drink. This tradition happens once in a while so we always go all out when it happens.

"Yeah, why did you ask?", he replied refusing to meet my eyes. I've known Dezin for a long time and I knew when something was bothering him.

"Dez, are you going to answer your Alpha or not?", I say using my title as a weapon. It wasn't to command him but I wanted to know what was bothering him. It was an Alpha's duty to ensure that all pack members are doing fine.

"I've been restless because I can't find my mate. I'm not even sure if she's out there at all", he said almost too softly. If it wasn't for my super hearing I wouldn't have heard him.

"Stop thinking like that. She's out there but nothing ever happens before their right time. Just relax for now", I said placing a hand on his shoulder. I knew how he was feeling. It was relatable.

"What about you?. Still searching for your Luna?", he asked and I half smirked.

"I found her a few days ago but it's complicated. She's human", I replied and he nod in understanding. That was the hardest part about this, having a human mate. You have to explain everything to them and there's a chance for rejection.

The most painful thing someone could go through. My only hope is that I won't be a reject.

It would destroy me. I wanted my mate and I hope that she will want me as well.
