Okay, here we are, hard to believe we're at the 2 year anniversary of this story. It's been a crazy ride and I have to admit, I wasn't sure if I'd make it to this milestone. I'm glad I did. And I hope this chapter is worth it.

"You're back." Cora said when she got home from school to see her moms Kara and Lena back unpacking from their honeymoon.

"Yeah, we got back an hour ago." Kara confirmed as she moved to hug her foster daughter.

"Does that mean you'll finally let Brainy give me the suit he made me while you were gone?" Cora asked, since she desperately wanted to become the next Powergirl now that Karen had passed on the mantle to her, but her mothers had been clear that she was not allowed to put on a cape until they were back on Earth.

"We'll talk about it later, but I promise we will talk. But we've been offworld for a while and need to settle back in." Lena assured her.

"I have to admit, it is nice to let the sun charge me up again." Kara said, since she'd been without her powers until an hour ago, due to first wearing a red sun bracelet while they honeymooned on Earth and then there not being a yellow sun on Argo City.

"Okay, as long as you promise. How was your honeymoon?" Cora asked.

"We brought back pictures. Though we can't tell you everything about what happened for obvious reasons." Kara said as she shot her wife a smile, which was returned.

"And I don't want to know all those details, but how was Argo? Has it recovered from the daxamite attack?" Cora said, still holding disdain for daxamites considering it was Queen Rhea and King Lar Gand who ordered the attack on her home that killed her biological parents.

"Yeah, a lot of it has been rebuilt, thanks to the Daxamites under Queen Tea, who is dating my cousin Tim-El, so depending on things go, she might become family someday." Kara reminded her, right as they heard a bark as Krypto literally came flying to greet his mistresses, knocking Kara to the ground.

"Hey boy, I missed you too." Kara said with a laugh as Krypto began licking her intently, right as her league comm went off.

"Not even back a day and I'm already on call." Kara said and Lena chuckled as she kissed her wife's cheek.

"I'll finish unpacking, you should probably report in since you've missed several weeks worth of check-ins and we shouldn't be surprised you get a message the second you turned your com back on." Lena told her.

"I knew I should've waited until we were all settled in to turn it back on." Kara said as she stepped out of the room to answer her comm.

"You couldn't give me a day?" she asked Bruce after establishing a connection to the Watchtower where her second in command was waiting.

"Sorry to call you in right after you got back from your honeymoon, but this was too important to pass up." Bruce said.

"Give me a minute to get my suit on and then I'll zeta up to the Watchtower." Kara said.

"I'll brief you on everything when you arrive." Bruce promised and Kara nodded as she ended the call.

"Guess I'm going back to being Supergirl before I go back to work at Argo Enterprises." Kara muttered to herself as she went to grab her suit from the bedroom safe, where she'd kept it locked away the entire time she'd been gone.

"Is the world in trouble already?" Lena asked when she saw her wife come out of their bedroom in her Supergirl suit.

"Don't know, Bruce didn't say, but it must be important if he's calling me now. I'll be back as soon as I can." Kara said as she headed to their backyard zetatube.

"Supergirl, 01, access granted." The zeta tube called out as Kara exited it and entered the Watchtower.

"Welcome back Supergirl." Superman greeted his cousin as he hugged her.

"Thanks, but this isn't a social call is it." Kara said, seeing that nearly the entire league was gathered here, only the Star City members weren't present.

"Green Arrow and his team are busy dealing with a situation in Star City and Black Canary's about ready to pop, so we can't risk removing her from Earth." Bruce said.

"I do not miss being pregnant." Diana said, since she'd given birth to her daughter Elizabeth Antiope Trevor a few weeks ago.

"Congratulations Diana, I look forward to meeting your daughter soon." Kara said.

"Of course, after all, you are her godmother." Diana reminded her.

"Can't wait. But anyways, why was this meeting called? What's going on?" Kara asked.

"We've finally been contacted by New Genesis." Alex said to her sister and Kara was surprised, since it had been over a year since they'd had any communication with the New Gods.

"Does that mean they've found something?" Kara asked.

"We don't know, they refused to discuss it without you present." Bruce responded.

"Open a communication channel. I need to know what they found." Kara said and Bruce nodded.

"This will be the first time we've attempted to make contact that far out in space." Bruce reminded her.

"You, me and Oliver spent a fortune building that one of a kind deep space transmitter using a combination of human and alien technology when we built the Watchtower. Time to put it to use." Kara said.

"Can we please hurry this up? Ryan and Harper have a karate tournament today and I promised them I would be there." Kate said from her seat.

"And I should be at Jon's science fair, we all have things we should be doing, but we knew that they'd have to take a back seat when we joined the League." Clark reminded her.

"Just saying." Kate said and Kara chuckled.

"Fire up the transmitter, let's see what the New Gods have to say." Kara said.
