March 8th,

Today was Sam's third round of chemo. They did their Sam routine as the last two times. Woke up early, headed to the hospital and sat and kept each other company for four hours then went back home where Dorthy and Albert were there to help Jessica.

Sam was quickly getting much weaker and chemo was taking a tole on him. By the end of the weekend he was feeling better just for chemo to happen the next day.

As the weeks went on it was harder and harder for Jessica. Seeing Sam so sick and frail all the time broke her heart. There was nothing she could do except for be there for him and get him whatever he needs.

When they got home from chemo Jessica and Dorthy went out for lunch while Albert stayed back and watched Sam. Sam was passed out on the couch with his bucket and ice.

"I'm so glad I'm able to get out and go to the restaurant. Sam and I are trying to avoid a lot of public places now that his immune system will be shot within a few more weeks." Jessica sighs

"I'm happy to take you out whenever you want." Dorthy smiles

"I'm just scared. Each week it gets worse and it's only week three. He sees his doctor next week to possibly discuss having chemo and radiation every other week. We'll see." Jessica says

"It will all work out. But in to happier things.... how are my two new grand babies doing?" She glees

Jessica huffs "It's brining back PTSD from when I was pregnant with Scar and Wyatt. My goodness I feel like a thousand pounds but I don't have a belly yet. This time around, the symptoms are a lot more harsh. Sam and I have a twelve week update tomorrow! I'm so excited! Twelve weeks by the day and he gets to see the babies! It will brighten his spirits a lot." Jessica smiles big

Though this pregnancy wasn't the best timing, Jessica and Sam couldn't help but be super excited.

"That's great sweetie! Then you can tell everyone!"

"I'm excited to tell Ann, Jane, and Sarah."

"Great. See, with bad comes some good. This is your good right here, babies!" Dorthy smirks

"Sam and I talked about waiting until I give birth to find out the genders... but I don't think I can wait that long. Honestly, I want to know! We have so many extra rooms. I want to decorate the nursery and it will be perfect."

"Don't wait! It's the worst. I did it with Ann and I hated every second. But your father didn't want to know." Dorthy giggles

"I don't think I can wait. Let's just hope for the best tomorrow so that I can pass the twelve week mark. But this time when I was pregnant with Jack we had lost baby b..." Jessica sighs

"Oh sweetie. I know that it's hard. Very hard. Your pregnancy with Jack was hard on you, especially with Danny." Dorthy shakes her head

"Speaking of! His girlfriend Mandy keeps texting me all these baby clothes and stuff. With emojis and glitter and stuff. I'm all glittery and happy too, but not with her. It's just weird."

"Maybe she's trying to make it less awkward... In case they get married."

"Danny won't marry her. I know it. I know him. Mandy is not his type."

"Who is?"

"Well. Don't mean to toot my horn but someone like me. Structured, funny, kind, and doesn't act like a five year old!"

"Oh god Jessica. Stop it! Be nice!"

The next day:

"Are you excited?" Jessica says to Sam as they sit in the waiting room.

"Ummm, yes. I might cry." He chuckles

"Aww sweetie. Don't cry!" Jessica giggles

Sam rubs his hands through his hair like always. As he does so, Jessica notices a chunk of hair falling out. It didn't phase Sam. He just laughed.

"One step closer to going bald!" He says

"Sam..."

"What! I want you to shave it tonight." He smiles

"Me? Shave it? I can't!"

"Well, good thing Albert is brining all the guys over today! I guess they are gonna help me shave it!"

"A shaving party? Really." Jessica laughs

"Yeah babe! It's gonna be badass."

"Whatever you say."

"I'm just trying to bring light, yanno? And if the guys want to make a party out of it, so be it!"

"Hello! Looks like we have dad here today! How exciting!" The doctor smiles

"I'm glad to be here." Sam says proudly

"Jessica, how are you feeling?"

"Half dead and it's only twelve weeks." She chuckles

"That's to be expected, why don't we go ahead and check on those two?"

"Sounds awesome!"

The doctor prepares Jessica for an ultra sound. The entire time Sam just held Jessica's hand and looked at the monitor, ready to see his babies."

"There they are mom and dad! Baby A and Baby B! Looking great, measuring at twelve weeks." She says with a big smile

"Sam, look. See?" Jessica smiles pointing to the screen

He gets a bit teary eyes and sniffles. "Wow. Look at them. They are so tiny."

"And growing!" The doctor adds

"This feeling is amazing." Sam whispers

"Isn't it?" Jessica kisses him

Later that night the whole family came over to Jessica and Sam's. Scarlett and Wyatt were there as well to see their cousins. Sam and Jessica decided that tonight they were going to finally tell their family the big news. With a lot of things going on, they wanted as much light as possible. Even though today was exactly twelve weeks, Jessica and Sam couldn't keep it in any longer.

When family arrived it got really chaotic really fast. Just how they all liked it. You couldn't even hear a pin drop.

"So, who's shaving this head?" Sam says as he pulls out the razor.

"Are you sure, Sam?" Jessica says

"Yes, babe. I've never been more ready." He says taking her hand

"I will, Sam." Albert says

"Okay." Sam says breathlessly

"You're a bad ass for this." Ann says to Sam

"Thanks!" Sam chuckles

"I'm next!" Albert says

"What? Dad?" Jessica says with wide eyes

"Well, Jess, all the guys are shaving their heads!" Ann's husband John says

"Yeah, that's why we all came with clippers, duh!" George chuckles

"Wait, no, you guys. Keep your hair!" Sam chuckles

"No, son. We are doing this with you." Albert smiles patting his back

Jessica sat back with her hands covering her mouth. She suddenly got so emotional. Seeing her family come together for Sam made her heart swell. No one had to shave their head with Sam, rather they wanted to. No one wanted Sam to feel alone.

"We are fitting this all together." John smiles

"We got you, Sam." Evan smiles

"Come here, Jessie." Sarah says opening her arms to Jessica.

Jessica hugs her best friend then goes to Sam and gives him a big kiss.

"I love you." She whispers

"Done! Look at all of these bald heads!" Dorthy says as she snips off the rest of Alberts hair.

Even Wyatt and Chase even  joined the cause. Jessica couldn't believe it. Everyone was bald.

"How do I look?" Sam says to her

Jessica gets on her tippy toes and kisses his cheek. "Very handsome." She giggles

"Look, mommy, I have no hair!" Wyatt says

Jessica smiles "I know! Look at you!" Jessica giggles

"Tonight was great." Jane smiles

"It was... but I know how to make it better." Sam says

"Wanna tell them?" Jessica says to Sam

"Yeah, I do."

"What?" Ann asks

"Jessica is pregnant, with twins!"
