When Jessica got home she was too excited... but had to hold it in for two more weeks. She couldn't believe that she was having twins.... again. It was hard for her to comprehend all of this with everything going on, but it was a little glimmer of hope for her. She felt so guilty not having Sam there and knew he'd be upset.

"How did it go?" Dorthy asks

"Great! I'm healthy! How's Sam?" Jessica smiles

"He woke up asking for you. But he's taking a shower right now. I should go back and check on him."Albert says going back upstairs.

Dorthy pulls Jessica aside after Albert goes back upstairs and starts to whisper

"So, you're pregnant?" Dorthy asks

"What? No." Jessica shakes her head

"Liar! I went into your trash upstairs and found it. You are pregnant."

"Mom! That's an invasion of privacy and GROSS!" Jessica huffs

"Well, I went to get Sam a rice pack under your counter and saw that you opened the box. Then I took it upon myself to scavenge and find the POSITIVE test." Dorthy gleams

Jessica doesn't say a word

"That's where you were! Oh I knew it!"

"Don't tell anyone yet." Jessica says

Dorthy gives her a big smile and hugs her. Jessica starts to smile too with teary eyes.

"But there's more." Jessica whispers

"Oh you're crying... is the baby okay?"

"I'm not sad, I'm happy. It's... it's twins." She whispers

"Twins? You're lying." Dorthy jumps up in the air

"Sam doesn't know that it's twins. But he's so happy and I know that he'll be even more happy." She smiles

"Oh yes!"

"But, he will be mad that he wasn't there. I just know it." She sighs

"He'll get over it after he knows."

"Hey ladies, look who's up!" Albert says as Sam walks behind him all by himself.

"You're up! Who do you feel?" Jessica says going over to him and giving him a kiss. She could taste how sour his mouth was right away.

"I feel hungry. Al said there's some food made!" He smiles

"Yes, right over here!" Dorthy exclaims

"Great, lets eat." Sam says

After dinner Dorthy and Al went home for the night and helped clean up Jessica decided to put on a movie for Sam.

"So where were you today?" Sam asks as the movie starts.

Jessica needed to think. She couldn't lie. But she wasn't ready for Sam to be upset.

"I went to the doctor."

"Oh. Which doctor?"

"Sam, don't be mad but.... I-"

"Went to the OBGYN... without me." He says

"I'm sorry but I just had to know if the baby was okay and -"

"Jessica, this is my first baby.... I wanted to be there. I can't believe you went without me and scheduled today out of all days!" He hisses

"Sam... just listen to me." She pleas

"What?" He huffs

"Are you really that angry?" SHe says harshly

"Yes. I want I be there for these things! Cancer or not I should be there for the first appointment!" He yells

Jessica was startled by how angry he was.

"Fine, instead of asking how it went, I won't tell you anything!" She says getting up

"Jess- Wait!"

She turns back at him with tears in her eyes.

"What?" She says mocking him

"Comeback... I'm sorry. I'm just angry today. I'm angry with my life. Today sucked and I know it's going to be worse. And I hate that because of cancer I'm missing this and you're aren't letting me be involved."

"Sam I'm sorry! I just had to go... you've been stressed I've been stressed. I needed to make sure that this was going to be real and it would light up our world!" She cries hard as she falls into his arms.

"Tell me, how is the baby."

Jessica sniffles and picks her head up.

"It's twins. I'm ten weeks and the babies heartbeats are so strong! I went in there telling her that it may be twins and then there! Twins! Fucking twins, Sam!"

"No way? Two! Five kids! And probably more after that!"

"Whoa whoa cowboy! Just five." She chuckles

"We will discuss that later.... but Jessica. I'm so excited."

"Here are the pictures!" She says running to her purse

She hands them to Sam and he starts to cry.

"Can you believe it!" Jessica smiles

"Holy shit..."

"They're due late October." She smiles

"My potential surgery month..." he whispers

"Oh god... I didn't..."

"It's okay! Really, no matter what I'll be there. I'll be there when they come out, when they have their first birthdays, when they walk down the aisle!" He says

Jessica sighs "good."

"How am I gonna sleep now! Let me talk to these fellas!"

"Go ahead!"

Sam picks up her shirt and starts talking with his hand on her belly.

"Well, hey you TWO! This is daddy here to say I love you BOTH and I can't wait to meet you. Holy crap I'm so excited. This is going to be amazing!"

Jessica puts her hand on top of Sam's.

"I'm sorry I got so angry."

"Shhhh. Just keep talking, dork!"

Wednesday:

It was two days since chemo and Sam just finished radiation. The pregnancy was a big distraction and Sam was doing great which was a relief.

Tonight the kids were coming home until Sunday and Jessica couldn't wait for everyone to be together. This new schedule would be a lot for them to adjust too and they didn't even know what was going on. Danny said they were doing great and couldn't wait to see Sam and Jessica.

When they got the knock on the door Jessica ran to the door. Co-parenting was hard but seeing them after only a few days gave her so much joy.

When she answers the door she sees Danny and Mandy. Mandy was the last person she wanted to see.

"Hey!" She says giving Jessica a hug.

"Hi." Jessica says

"Congrats on the baby!" She smiles

"Ya! Congrats!"

"How did you..."

"Hey guys! Come in!" Sam says

"How do you two know?" Jessica asks

"Little Jack Over here picks up on everything. You should know that." Danny chuckles

"Ha, that's my fault." Sam chuckles

"So it's true, a baby? God I love babies! I can't wait to have my own, huh Danny."

Danny doesn't say a word. He just stands there.

"It's true, but we aren't telling anyone right now." Sam says

"Yes so please, keep it to yourself." Jessica adds

"Oh! And it's twins!" Sam adds

Jessica rolls her eyes and huffs.

"Twins? I thought that was my blessing." Danny chuckles

"No, mine." Jessica winks

"Twins, baby twins!" Wyatt smiles

"Yes honey, Twins!"

"Just like us?" Scarlett smiles

"Mhm! Just like you guys!" Sam says picking her up

"Wow! Another one of me and Wyatt?" She smiles

"Not exactly, baby." Danny says squeezing her cheeks.

"That's so exciting!" Mandy smiles

"Mhm..." Jessica says softly

"How are you feeling?" Danny asks Sam as Jessica takes the kids bags and gives them hugs.

"Well with all of this great. I had radiation today but I'm doing fine. Jessica's great."

"She is. The best pamperer." Danny chuckles

Mandy sighs "well, we should go! Congrats!"

When they leave Wyatt looks at his mom and Sam and huffs.

"What baby?" Jessica asks

"Mandy is annoying!"

Sam and Jessica chuckle

"Oh honey..." she laughs

"Very annoying!" Scarlett says

"You two, be nice! Now come on, let's eat. I made your favorite!"
