The next morning-

Jessica rolled over to the left side of her bed expecting the babies to be up. She sat up and leaned over the bassinets and noticed that the babies weren't in there. She grabbed her robe and went into the kitchen. Danny had the babies in their rockers as he prepared breakfast. By this hour Danny would already be at work but he wasn't.

"What are you doing here?" Jessica hisses

Danny turns around and bows down his head. "Last night... I feel so bad." He says slowly walking towards her. As he takes a step closer she takes a step back.

"You should. You hurt my feelings." Jessica pouts

"If you will just let me explain what happened. You know that I wanted to spend the night with the three of you. I really did." He exclaims

"Then why did you come home as drunk as a sailor?" She crosses her arms

"Frank and I had a meeting before court. Frank kept buying drinks after drinks. Either way I wouldn't have been able to go, but I shouldn't have been drinking and I'm so sorry!" Danny reaches for Jessica's hands and holds them.

"I didn't mean to overreact. I just really wanted to spend the night as a family. I get that Halloween isn't a huge deal but it's our babies first of everything."

"And I get that... I do. I was being insensitive. Do you still love me?" He whispers bringing Jessica's body closer to his.

Jessica smirks and rubs his cheek. "Yes, I do." She giggles

"I made breakfast. Why don't you sit and we can have a nice morning."

Scarlett and Wyatt wake up from their bouncers and quickly begin to scream for Jessica.

"Let me feed our babies real quick." Jessica holds up her finger and runs to the babies.

November 10th-

"Come on Wyatt, you can do it! Just roll over, mommy knows you can do it!" Jessica cheers on Wyatt as he giggles, attempting to roll over on the floor.

"You're so close little guy! Just roll over so daddy can see!" Jessica giggles as she holds her phone in one hand to record.

Wyatt looks at Jessica and giggles then rolls over onto his back.

Jessica starts clapping and cheering. "You did it! Oh my gosh, you did it little guy! Mommy is so proud of you!" Jessica tears up and lifts him up from the floor. She holds him in her arms and spins around.

"This is a big milestone little guy!"

Scarlett was still laying on her stomach. She began to fuss. Jessica put Wyatt back down next to her then picked her up. "What's wrong sweet girl? You need to practice rolling over. Your brother did it... you can too!"

Scarlett cries even more then digs her head into Jessica's chest.

"Aww, I'm sorry. It just takes practice. You'll do it, I know you will."

That night Danny came home. They four of them sat in the living room. The babies laid on the floor and Jessica and Danny rested up against the couch watching them. Wyatt would roll over once and a while but Scarlett did nothing.

Jessica had a puzzled look on her face when she saw Scarlett sitting still.

"Danny, maybe I should take Scarlett to the doctor?"

"How come? She seems just fine."

"She hasn't rolled over yet. She doesn't show any emotion other than crying. Maybe something's wrong!"

"She shows emotion. She's always giggling. Just because Wyatt rolled over doesn't mean she has to right away. They are two different babies. Let her go at her own pace." Danny takes Jessica's hand and looks at Scarlett.

"She giggles for you? Oh gosh what if she hates me!"  Jessica picks her up and holds her.

"She doesn't hate you. She loves you so much."

"So you think she'll be fine? She just needs time."

"Yes, just give her time."

Jessica nods and lays her back down.

"I wanted to talk to you about something." Danny shifts his body towards Jessica and smiles.

"Okay, what?"

"This Thanksgiving I feel like we should invite our parents out! I know my parents haven't been to New York and they'd love to visit and see the babies. What do you say?"

Jessica nods her head. Initially she thought that they were flying to Minnesota for the holidays so they could see their parents. Danny obviously had other plans. Jessica knew that her parents would love to come but wouldn't because it was a tradition to have Thanksgiving that their house.

"So?" Danny adds

"Yeah... that's great but why don't we go to them?"

"I thought maybe it would be better to stay in New York for Thanksgiving. I mean we will for sure fly out after Christmas but let's have Thanksgiving in our new apartment!" Danny seemed super excited and set having thanksgiving in New York.

"I'll call our families tomorrow." Jessica smiles softly

"I already talked to my parents! They are getting their tickets tomorrow." Danny smiles

Jessica was pissed that he planned everything without her but she just let it go.

"Oh, great. I'll call my mom tomorrow."

"Jessica! How happy I am to hear from you! How are you, the babies, and Danny?" Dorthy exclaims over the phone.

"We are all good. How are things back home?"

"Strange... we still aren't used to not having you and the babies around. We miss you all so much and can't wait to see you for Thanksgiving."

"About that..." Jessica mumbles

"Is everything alright?" Dorthy says in a concerned tone.

"Danny wants to have Thanksgiving here this year. I just found out yesterday. His mom and dad are coming. I wanted to invite you and dad."

"Oh Jessica, you know we'd love to come! Really we would... but it's tradition to have Thanksgiving at our house with friends and family. I've already invited so many people. Darling I'm sorry."

Jessica sighs "I figured... I understand. I wish that we could come out but Danny is so set on having Thanksgiving here."

"We will see you for Christmas, correct?" 

"Yes, of course!"

"I know you'll have a nice Thanksgiving. We will miss you."

"I'll miss you all too."

"But you'll have fun with Zoe and John. They are so nice and can help you with the babies."

"Yeah..."

"Don't be sad! Are you cooking?"

"I guess so!"

"I'll send over some recipes so you can feel a bit at home."

"Thank you mom."

"No problem. Kiss the babies for me."

"I will."

Jessica shut off her phone and sat back in the chair. She wanted to go home so badly. She felt like she had been away for so long but it was only a few months. Jessica had her heart set on going back home but Danny didn't. She wanted to make him happy. For the past few months she felt like she was making it all about her. She wanted to do this for him.
