The next day//

Danny didn't say anything to Jessica about the job offer. He knew that she wouldn't be happy about him flying to Buffalo on a weekly basis. He didn't want to put stress on her or make her upset. He just wanted to make these happy days stay happy.

The twins and Jessica were going home. It made Jessica nervous. The thought of leaving all of the doctors and nurses that helped her made her worried. Jessica was ready to go home, but she only feared that she would mess up.

Jessica was packing up getting ready to leave. Dorthy was holding Wyatt and Jane held Scarlett. Ann and George stayed in the room while Albert and Danny starting setting up the car seats.

"Jessie, let me help you." Dorthy says standing up.

"No it's okay, I can do it..." Jessica took a deep breath and sighed.

"I can do it... I can do it... I can do this." She mutters

"What?" Jane says hearing Jessica speak very softly

Jessica stopped what she was doing and hunched over. She broke into tears and wrapped her arms around her own body.

Dorthy gave Wyatt to Ann and walked over to Jessica.

"Honey, why are you crying?" Dorthy says in a soothing tone.

"I can't do this alone, mom. What if something happens while I am sleeping and I don't know it? There aren't any nurses or doctors to help them right away? What do I do? I can't leave here! I'll mess up, something will happen!"

"Jessie, you aren't alone first off. You have me, dad, your siblings, and Danny! Nothing will happen... I've had three kids and you all turned out just fine! Nothing ever happened. I get that it's scary and overwhelming bringing home a baby, let alone two! But you'll do a great job and we will all be here to help."

"What happens when you leave, Danny's at work, and I'm alone? I'll be so scared all alone. I can't mess this up."

Ann stands up and walks over to Jessica holding Wyatt.

"Jessica, look. This is your little baby boy. He's healthy and ready to go home! And your little girl over there, she's just as healthy. Your babies are okay and they are healthy, nothing will happen. And if something does happen you'll know by instinct. When I brought chase home I was so scared, but nothing ever happened and he's perfectly fine. You're just having some anxiety. Don't worry, okay?"

Jessica smiles and takes Wyatt from Ann's arms. She rocks him back and fourth. She wipes her tears as he slightly opens his eyes.

"Thank you... I just want to give them the best life and for them to be happy, healthy, and safe."

"Bringing home your baby, or babies, is the best feeling. You're such a good mother and you'll never stop being a great mother."

The car ride home had Jessica's stomach in knots. She sat in between the two car seats with her hands near both of her babies. They were the most beautiful babies Jessica had ever seen. She was head over heels for Scarlett and Wyatt. She just wanted to do everything right and for nothing to go wrong.

"Danny..." Jessica says softly as he drives home.

"Yes, love? Is everything okay?"

"I'm scared to go home."

"Why?"

"We won't have nurses anymore. What if something goes wrong?"

"Nothing will go wrong, Jessica." Danny says

Jessica sighs and looks at Wyatt who was beginning to wake up. "Hey little guy, are you hungry?"

"We'll be home soon, loves..." she says softly

When Jessica and Danny got to their apartment Danny got the car seats out. Jessica stood in front of her apartment door and took a deep breath.

"Ready to go in?" Danny says with two carriers in his hand.

"Look at you super dad! Carrying two babies!"

"I'm not that super. These are heavy!" Danny says

"Let me help." Jessica reaches for one of the carriers and Danny moves away.

"No! I can do it, lets just go inside. Everything will be fine."

Jessica looks at Danny then looks back at the door.

"Welcome home!" Dorthy and Albert say as they walk into the door.

"Look babies, we're home! This is our home!" Danny sets the car seats down and unbuckles Scarlett first as she began to cry.

"She might be hungry, let me take her." Jessica says happily.

"Does it feel good to be home?" Albert says hugging Jessica.

Jessica gives Albert a soft smile then hugs him.

Jessica holds Scarlett and walks over to the couch with a blanket. Albert goes over and picks up Wyatt who was wide awake and smiling.

"Someone's happy to be home!" Albert chuckles walking around the apartment.

Danny walks over to Jessica and sits by her as she feeds Scarlett.

He could tell Jessica was anxious and nervous. She didn't talk much. Being home was a scary feeling to her.

"Jessica, your siblings wanted to give you guys some space when you got home. If you'd like your father and I to go for a while we can. We don't want to overwhelm you two."

"No! Please, stay. You're not overwhelming us." Jessica says quickly

Dorthy stopped for a moment when she saw a quick moment of fright in Jessica. She sat on the other side of her and nodded.

"Okay, that's fine... we will stay." She smiles

Later that night Jessica's mind was a bit more at ease while she was home. Her mom, dad, Danny, and siblings were all with her. Someone always had their eyes on the babies. No matter who held Scarlett or Wyatt Jessica wouldn't take her eyes off of them. She was so nervous whenever someone held them, even Danny. Every time the babies cried Jessica would quickly take them away and make sure everything was okay.

Dorthy made dinner for everyone at Jessica's. After everyone was finished eating Jessica was a bit exhausted and in a small bit of pain.

"Jess, you look tired. Why don't you go rest?" Danny whispers rubbing Jessica's back. She was slowly falling asleep with both babies in her arms while everyone was watching the baseball game.

"No, that would be rude. I'm fine here, besides, they're asleep." Jessica looks at the babies who rested on her twin sized breastfeeding pillow.

Danny tilts his head and looks at Wyatt who was staring at Danny.

Danny slowly picks him up and holds him.

"Hey dude, what's up? Did you want daddy to hold you?"

Jessica smiles and looks at Scarlett.

"I guess maybe I could take her with me and put her in the bassinet?" Jessica sits up

"Okay, go ahead sweetie. You deserve some rest."

Jessica stands up with Scarlett.

"Is it okay if I lay down for a bit?" Jessica yawns

"Of course sweetie. Go ahead!" Dorthy smiles

"Go get all the rest you can." Ann says rocking Chase to sleep.

"Okay... Thank you, so much." Jessica says

Wyatt stays with Danny and Jessica puts Scarlett in her bassinet next to Jessica's side of the bed.

Jessica hears everyone outside cheer and Jessica giggles.

Scarlett was so quite. "I think it's so cute how quite and well behaved you are. You don't like the chaos, do you?" Jessica swaddles her and watches her sleep.

"Mommy is pretty chill too." Jessica giggles. She gets into bed and lays on her side so she could see Scarlett.

Around eight Jessica's siblings went back to their hotel. They didn't say goodbye to Jessica because she was so tired and they didn't want to wake her. Dorthy, Albert, Danny, and Wyatt where in the living room.

Jessica woke up to the piercing scream of Wyatt crying from the living room.

Jessica quickly bursted out of bed and ran into the living room.

She was breathless by the time she had gotten into the living room. Her heart raced as she rushed over to Danny and took Wyatt from him.

"What happened? Why is he crying? Is he okay?" Jessica rambles slowly swaying her body.

"Jess, he was just fussing. He's okay." Danny says standing up.

"He's fine, honey." Dorthy says

"No! He was crying! Something is wrong if they are crying." Jessica pouts as she tries to sooth Wyatt.

"I think he's just tired Jessica." Albert says from behind

"Why is he crying! What happened? Danny why did you make him cry!" Jessica starts to get frustrated and tears rush down her face.

"Jessica! Nothing happened, he just started fussing. He's tired, I didn't do anything. If you gave me the chance to calm him down he wouldn't be crying!" Danny snapped.

Jessica looked at him with watery eyes and turned around. She grabbed her feeding pillow and went into her room closing the door.

Once the door closes Danny plops himself onto the couch and sighs.

"I didn't do anything, he was just crying." Danny mutters

"I know Danny... she's a new mom. Every little cry scares her." Dorthy says softly

"She didn't need to get mad like that. I didn't try to make him cry. I was trying to calm him down."

"She's just nervous. Give her time to calm down. She has a lot on her mind." Albert turns off the tv and sits next to Danny.

Danny was upset. He had never seen Jessica so worried. Everything was off and she didn't seem happy to be home. He just wanted her to be happy, but didn't know what to do.
