The next day-

The twins were a day old and doing great. They latched perfectly to Jessica. The doctors, nurses, Danny, and Jessica's parents all helped her out. Jessica's medication wore off so she was in a bit of pain but nothing too bad.

Everything felt so right and Jessica couldn't be happier with the babies. She was going to be discharged the next day. Going home made Jessica nervous. They nurses always checked on her and the babies. Danny reassured Jessica that she wouldn't do anything alone.

Jessica was feeding Scarlett while Danny rocked Wyatt to sleep.

"Jessica, I think Wyatt has my looks!" Danny chuckles

"You think? I don't know, I feel like Scarlett has your nose, lips, and eyes. Wyatt has my nose and eyes." Jessica looks at Scarlett who was looking up at her.

"They are both so beautiful." Danny says softly

"We made some cute babies! I love these little fellas!"

"You did a great job yesterday. I'm glad I made it in time." Danny says

*knock*

"Come in!" Danny says loudly causing Wyatt to start fussing.

"Danny, did you have to raise your voice." Jessica whines as Scarlett starts to cry also.

"I'm sorry!" Danny stands up and starts swaying his body to soothe him.

Dorthy and Albert walk in. Behind them was George, Jane, and Ann, and Chase.

"Oh my gosh!" Jessica whispers

"Surprise! When mom and dad told us you were in labor we took the next flight out! We had to meet the babies!" Jane giggles rushing over to Danny.

"Sorry, let me fix myself! I didn't think I would have guest. I'm so happy to see all of you!" Jessica covers herself with a blanket. Scarlett was finished eating.

"Sorry for coming unannounced, we just had to surprise you." Ann takes Chase out of his carrier and walks over to Jessica.

"Congrats on your babies Jess, that's so cool! You have kids now!" George says

Dorthy, George, Jane, and Albert looked over Danny's shoulder. Wyatt's eyes were wide open. He stared at all of Jessica's family.

"How do you feel today, Jess?" Albert says walking over to say hello.

"Good, surprisingly. I mean everything hurts, but the babies distract me from the pain. Huh little girl?" Jessica looks at Scarlett with wide eyes and smiles.

"Chase, look! That's your little cousin, Scarlett. And over there, that's Wyatt! You three will be best friends!" Ann says pointing to the babies.

"Would you guys like to hold the babies? Danny and I are hogging them!" Jessica giggles

"Yes! I want to hold one! Please let me hold one!" Jane says enthusiastically

"Jane, you sound like your five year old self at a candy shop." Dorthy giggles

Jessica hands Ann Scarlett, and Danny hands Jane Wyatt. Dorthy played with Chase to occupy him.

"They are spitting images of the both of you." Jane says

"They are so itty-bitty! Chase was huge compared to these two when he was born." Ann giggles

"Can you guys stop hogging the babies? I want to hold one." George pouts

"That's enough fighting over the babies. Wait your turn, George." Albert says

"Our kids are quite the catch!" Danny says sitting besides Jessica on the bed.

"They are. Thank you all for coming, I love seeing you all."

"I knew you'd love it if you siblings came." Dorthy leans down and kisses Jessica.

"They aren't even fussing, they are such good babies." Albert says

"We got lucky." Danny exclaims

Later that day Jessica's family spent time with her and the babies. Jessica was getting a bit tired and everything was becoming a bit chaotic. Her siblings went to their hotel. Jessica's parents were staying at the apartment so they went back to her place.

Danny stayed with Jessica. They sat in her room watching tv holding the babies.

"Jess, do you smell that?" Danny scrunches his nose and looks around.

"That's your children." Jessica giggles.

She lays out a blanket and lays Wyatt down. Danny does the same with Scarlett. The babies lay next to each other.

Danny and Jessica change them then watch them fall asleep next to each other.

"I don't think newborn clothes fit our little babies!"

"I know, they look like little chubby monkeys in their over-sized onesies!"

Wyatt starts to cry suddenly and Jessica pouts.

"Oh, are you hungry little guy?" Jessica slowly picks him up and supports his head.

Scarlett still laid peacefully as Wyatt cried.

"Okay, okay. I'm feeding you little guy!" Jessica giggles

*phone rings*

"Oh, that's mine." Danny says pulling his phone out of his pocket.

Scarlett was startled by the phone and started to cry too.

"It's work!" He exclaims

"Go answer it! But can you hand me Scarlett please." Jessica says as she feeds Wyatt.

Danny nods picking up Scarlett and putting her in Jessica's arm.

Jessica held both of the babies and Danny held his phone.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yes! Just go!" Jessica exclaims

*
"Hello?" Danny says

"Hey Danny! You never called us. Is Jessica okay?"

"Yea, I'm sorry things have been crazy. She had the babies!"

"Congrats, dad! But hey, after you left lunch Bob kept raving about you. He wants you to represent their company in this upcoming case. Congrats!"

"What? Wait... He wants me to represent them?"

"Yea! You'll have I fly out to Buffalo, weekly. But that's not that bad."

"Weekly? Frank, I have two new babies. I don't think I can leave Jessica alone all day while I'm six hours away."

"Danny, if you represent bobs company, this will set off your carrier. Especially if you win this case. You have to do it! You'll never get on opportunity like this again. Just see if someone can stay with the kids and Jessica. I need a yes or no by tonight, okay?"

"Okay, but frank-"

"I've got to go! Congrats again!"

Frank hangs up the phone.

Danny clenches onto his phone.

"Fuck!"
