"Jess, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to upset you." Danny walks into their bedroom and sits in a chair across from the bed.

Jessica held both of the babies with tears flowing down her cheeks.

"Don't apologize, it was me. Having the babies home is a bit overwhelming for me. Not having nurses or doctors to check their health worries me. Being home scares me right now." Jessica sighs and stares down at the babies.

Danny stands up and walks over to Jessica. He sits beside her and rubs her back.

"But our babies are so healthy, Jessica. You have nothing to be scared of."

"I understand that, but I'm a new mother. I can't help but worry."

"There is no need to worry, okay?"

Jessica inhales then exhales. "I love you, I'm sorry."

"I love you too."

That night Jessica didn't sleep one bit. When she wasn't feeding the babies she was watching them sleep making sure they were okay and breathing. Danny would wake up when the babies cried. He had noticed at times that Jessica wasn't in bed with him. She was sitting in the rocking chair looking over the bassinets.

"Jessica?" Danny mumbles rolling onto her side of the bed.

Jessica rested her head on her knees as she sat in the chair. She didn't take her eyes off the babies. She was wide awake with a cup of tea in her hand.

She turns to him. "What?"

"Come back to bed, you haven't been in here at all." He groans

"I'll be there in a second." She whispers

"You said that the last time you put them down. You need sleep, baby." Danny sits up and stretches

"I can't sleep... just let me be."

"Je-"

"Danny, please go back to bed."

The next morning Jessica was in the living room. Around five the babies were up for the morning. Jessica had fed them and took them into the living room and kitchen area so her parents and Danny wouldn't be woken up by the babies. Jessica didn't sleep one ounce that night. She constantly checked on the babies and fed them. She would have thought she would take any chance to just close her eyes but she didn't.

The babies slept in their mamaroos while Jessica made herself more coffee.

Every movement she made was slow and precise. Her body ached from how tired she was.

"Good morning! You're up early." Dorthy walks in happily.

"Yea..."  Jessica smiles softly and makes her way to the couch near the babies.

"Congrats Wyatt and Scarlett! You just spent your first night in your home! Isn't that so fun?" Dorthy exclaims

"These little swings are amazing, aren't they?" Dorthy says tucking in Scarlett's blanket.

Jessica didn't respond. She couldn't find the energy to even speak.

"What a beautiful morning it is!" Albert walks into the living room and goes straight to the babies.

"Aren't our grand babies so adorable? Little Scarlett and Wyatt! You're both so precious!" Dorthy exclaims

Albert looks over at Jessica who was half asleep. Her cup was slowly falling out of her hand.

Dorthy moves over towards Jessica and takes the cup. Jessica jerked for a moment and held her head.

"What?" Jessica says

"Jessie, why don't you go get some rest... Poor thing you're so tired."

"I'm fine, we are suppose to meet with Jane, Ann, and George soon. I can't go to sleep now."

"Oh yes you can." Dorthy says sternly

"I can't leave them! I'm not sleeping!" Jessica snaps

Dorthy gave Jessica a shocked look and let her by. "Okay... I'm sorry."

Once Danny woke up Jessica was going to start getting ready to see her siblings for brunch before they left. Dorthy was staying a little bit longer to help Jessica. Jessica wasn't ready for her mom to leave either.

"Hey little girl, do you have another dirty diaper?" Danny says holding Scarlett

"Did you want me to change her for you?" Dorthy says

"Oh it's okay Dorthy, I can do it. But thanks!" Danny starts heading towards the nursery

Dorthy follows Danny with Wyatt in her arms.

She looks around then whispers to Danny.

"Danny, did Jessica sleep at all last night?"

Danny sighs... "no... I tried to get her to sleep. She sat in the rocking chair all night watching the babies."

"Poor Jessie, something isn't right. She's worrying too much."

"Jessica has always been worried about something. This time it's a bit extreme."

"She's a new mom, we have to remember that too."

"I'm glad your staying to help for a bit. I appreciate it. I have to go back to work next week. I would hate for her to be alone."

"I'm glad I can help, Daniel. I'm always here for you four."

At lunch Jessica didn't speak much. She was too tired to make a lot of conversation.

Jessica slowly started to close her eyes until she was startled by Scarlett screaming. Jessica held her head and stood up.

"You'll have to excuse me, I should go feed her." Jessica says grabbing her diaper bag and Scarlett.

"Do you need any help?" Danny says

"No, I'll just be in the girls bathroom."

Jessica walked into the bathroom that had a lounge room connected to it. She sat on the couch and began feeding Scarlett.

"You love to eat, don't you pretty girl?" Keisha giggles

"You're so gorgeous I can't get over it!" Jessica says.

She stops talking to Scarlett when someone walked in. It was Jane and Ann.

"Oh hey guys." Jessica giggles

"Hi! We didn't want you to be alone, so we thought we'd join the party." Ann sits across from Jessica with Chase sleeping on her chest.

"Thanks for joining me, heh!" Jessica says

"We're going to miss you so much when we leave." Jane says sadly

"I'll miss you guys too. But I don't think I'd be that much fun to be around anyways. I mean during lunch I could barely stay awake." Jessica's smile turns into a frown.

"You're always fun. And you're a new mom, I was the same way with Chase. But just your company is what we'll miss. And of course your beautiful babes!" Ann chuckles

"The hardest part of moving was not being close to home."

"New York is home now... And we can always visit and you can always visit us." Jane says

"That's true.

Ann, before you know it our babies will be running around playing with each other. They'll be best friends."

"That's right! Chase can't wait for them to get older. He was staring at Wyatt today while I was holding him. It was so funny!"

"Chase and Wyatt are quite the catch. And little Scarlett is the only girl." Jane pouts

"That means you baby get started on making babies, Jane! Maybe you'll have a girl!" Jessica says

"No babies for me, that you twos job." Jane says

That night-

Albert, George, Jane, and Ann all were leaving the next morning to go back home. The whole day was spent at Jessica and Danny's apparent just hanging out. They all planned to spent the night instead of paying an extra night at a hotel. Albert, George, and Danny were outside while the girls were inside.

"How does it feel to be a dad?" Albert says sipping his beer.

"It feels great. I'm truly blessed to have the twins and Jessica."

"Its honestly weird seeing Jessica as a mom." George says

"She's a good mom, though." Albert nods

"She is... I'm lucky she's the mother of my children."

After everyone got settled in Jessica and Danny were in their room.

"We have so many guest. It feels like yesterday that it was just us."

"Now its us, and babies." Jessica says

"Two amazing babies!"

"Wyatt is just so handsome. His little lips are cute so cute and little.

You're a handsome little boy aren't you? I should call you Danny junior. You look just think daddy!" Jessica says in a baby voice.

"Promise me you'll sleep tonight?" Danny says getting into bed.

"It will be a while until I can sleep normally, Danny. You too.."

"I mean don't sit out of bed all night watching our children like a hawk."  Danny jokes and Jessica rolls her eyes.

"I just need to make sure they're okay. It puts my mind at ease hearing them breathe. It's all so I know they're okay."

"And they are okay. Taking care of yourself is important too. It was only the first night and you didn't try to sleep."

*phone rings*

"Ahh, it's frank." Danny groans

"Why is he calling at this hour? And doesn't he know you have two newborns?"

Danny nods and answers the phone moving away from Jessica.

Danny still hadn't discussed the job offer he got to Jessica.

"Hello, Frank. What's going on?"

"Danny! You never got back to me on the job offer. He needs to know before he looks for another lawyer."

"Frank, now really isn't the time I mean I have to New babies."

"And that's great, but I need to know by the day you get back from break, okay?"

Danny sighs. "Okay..."

"What did he want?" Jessica says swaddling Wyatt.

"Oh, just making sure I'm still coming back on Monday."

Jessica shakes her head. "I don't want you to go back...."

Danny sighs and walks over to Jessica wrapping his arms around her body from behind. "I know, but I have to go back and make money so these little babes can have a good future. I do this all for us. Always remember that. Everything I do, I have our families interest first in mind."

Jessica turns around and places her hand on Danny's chest. "I know. And I love you for that. I'm so lucky to have you."
