"Oh my sweeties!" Jessica squeals as she kneels to the floor and opens her arms to her children who just arrived.

"Mommy! Mommy!" Scarlett smiles as she gives her mother the biggest hug

"Hi baby girl. Look at you Wyatt! You grew!" Jessica says as she holds him close

"No sir." He giggles

Then Jessica stands up and walks to Danny who was carrying sleepy jack.

"Give him to mommy." She smiles as she takes him off of Danny.

Jack starts to wake up. He lifts up his head and sees Jessica. It made him the happiest boy on earth.

"Hey there fella. Did you miss mommy?"

He smiles and giggles then plops his head of Jessica's shoulders.

"So how was the trip?" Jessica says looking at Danny who was exhausted.

"It was great. Tiring. But great. Next time I'll need help on the plane with these three." He chuckles

"But they did well? Ate well? Behaved well?" She asks nervously

"And all of the above." He smiles

"Great." She giggles

The twins run off to reunite with all of their toys leaving Danny and Jessica alone in the living room.

"How was... um..."

"Montana? Great. Sam and I met with some people. It was fun." She says nervously

"Oh. Nice."

The room goes quite and Danny tries to break the silence.

"Jack did great." He mentions

"I was worried. I've been been away from them for so long. I missed them. Thanks for brining them home safely.

"Yeah, no problem. I actually have a flight back home an a few hours."

"Oh. Wow."

"But I hope I can do this again."

"Of course. As hard as it is being away from them on a holiday." She sighs

A little bit later Danny had left to go back to the airport and head home. He had a sad goodbye with the kids but knew that he had to be on his way.

This holiday was a real struggle for Danny and Jessica. They were apart, not together and they didn't get to spend the holiday together as a family. Danny yearned for Jessica and Jessica yearned for her children.

Moving past the struggles, Jessica just fell in love with Sam more and more after their little get away. It was an intense trip and really opened Jessica's eyes.

Sam gave Jessica her space for the next few days to spend all the time with the kids ever since they got back.

The next day Jessica took the kids over to Dorthy and Alberts for a little get together after not spending thanksgiving with her family.

"Gama, gampa!" The twins scream as they come running in to Jessica's parents house. The whole gangster was there. Ann, Jane, their husbands, chase and George.

"Jessie! You must not have had a proper Thanksgiving dinner. You're thin." Albert says

Jessica laughs "don't worry, I did."

"We missed you. Did you have fun with your friend in Montana?" George asks

"Yeah." She says awkwardly

Dorthy already told the family about her run in with Sam's mom and how Jessica did in fact go to Montana with Sam.

"What was her name again?" Dorthy smiles as she gives the kids their juice boxes

Jessica pauses for a moment "Oh, Madison."

"You said Maggie." Ann adds

"She goes by Maggie." Jessica chokes up

"Come on, stop torturing her." Jane says

Jessica's eyes widen "What's going on?"

"Jessica you went to Montana with Sam!" Dorthy yells, startling everyone

Jessica goes quite and sets Jack down. "Yes." She says honestly

"I don't see the big deal here." Albert says

Jessica huffs "Who told you?"

"I ran into Sam's mother! And we were talking and... you're a really bad liar!" Dorthy says

"Okay but what does it matter, ma? Maybe her and Sam are in love again?" Ann smirks

Jessica rolls her eyes. "It's my business."

"You aren't denying it. Tell me, are you two together?" Dorthy shouts

"Mom! Why are you so angry? Yes, we are together. But I didn't want to tell anyone because once again... it's my love life. My business." Jessica says raising her voice

"Okay, lets calm down in here. Dorthy, I don't understand this anger you have." Albert says to his wife

"Is gama mad?" Scarlett asks Jessica, tugging on her pants

"Mom..." Jessica eyes her down

"You can't be together." She says harshly

"Maybe this is a conversation that should be discussed else where." Jessica says walking out of house

Dorthy follows her and slams the door behind her.

"Umm, what just happened? Is mom okay?" George says

"I don't know. That came out of no where." Albert says

"Where's mommy!" Wyatt asks

"She'll be right back. Grandma is giving her an ass whoppin." Jane says

"Ass!" Wyatt giggles

"Jane, you can't say that stuff in front of kids."

"Ass ass ass!" Ann's son chase starts

"Dang it, Jane!" Ann whines

"Mom, what the hell is that about? What do you mean Sam and I can't be together?" Jessica says crossing her arms

"You were together before. It didn't work out! What makes you think that times are different! I love Sam, really. He's a great friend and BUSINESS partner for you, but I can't help but think about the past. How he ran off and left you behind. Then made all these demands and...."

"The fact that I cheated on him, right?" Jessica says

Dorthy sighs "You're a mother."

"I know, and that comes first. He understands that."

"I just feel like you need time to be alone." Dorthy adds

"I'm fine mom. Really. This trip to Montana, really opened my eyes. It brought back so many memories. I love Sam, mom. I really do. These last few months with him have been amazing. I mean god, you want me to go back to Danny?"

"No! That's not what I'm saying. It's just risky. You just got your business started... what if things end badly with you two? Then all your hard work is at risk." Dorthy sighs

"I don't want things to ever end between us. We love each other. And if you are angry about that. I don't know what to say." Jessica ends the argument and goes back inside.

For the rest of the night there was tension between Dorthy and Jessica, but she tried her best to put that past her and enjoy the time with her family.

Monday:

Denise came to the house early to watch the kids so Jessica could get an early start on her day and come home early to take the kids out to dinner and play. Being away from them during Thanksgiving was extremely hard for Jessica. Now, leaving them and not being with them has been difficult. Going to work today was dreadful for her. But she knew that she'd get to see Sam so that made her smile.

"Good morning, beautiful. Here's your latte." He hands her the coffee and leans over Jessica's desk to give her a long passionate kiss

"I missed you. Sorry I've been MIA. I've just been so busy with the kids. Scarlett and Wyatt and getting extra talkative and crazy. Oh and Jack is ten months tomorrow! He's getting so close to being one that it's breaking my heart. My little baby is now a big chunky strong baby who still doesn't like sleeping at night." She says with exhaustion

"I understand, you missed them. How does dinner sound tonight?" He asks

"Oh Sam. I'm sorry. I'm actually taking the kids to the fun house place that just opened up. First it's pizza then the fun house. I promised the twins. How about tomorrow?" She smiles

"That sounds great." He chuckles

"I'm sorry that I haven't been able to spend time with you."

"Do not apologize for being a busy mom. A good mom. A great mom." He smiles

"You're the best." She says bowing him a kiss
