First Day
May 15th// 32 weeks-
Jessica and Danny spent their first few days making everything perfect in the new apartment. The settled in pretty well and were able to unpack in a short amount of time. That Monday Danny started his first day at DA's Office. It was an exciting day for him. Before he went to work he took Jessica to his aunts office place. His aunt Mary owned a large interior design business in New York. She was very successful and Jessica couldn't wait to start working with her. Jessica would start off by observing and helping Mary before having her own clients. She planned to do that after the babies were born and spend the time before they are born learning.
"Look at you, Mr. Huston!" Jessica giggles as Danny walks into the kitchen wearing his new suit and tie.
Danny straightens his shoulders and fixes his tie.
"Do you think I look good?" He smirks slowly walking towards Jessica.
"Yes! You look fantastic!" Jessica and Danny's bodies touch. He wraps his arms around Jessica and kisses her.
"One more round to finish off from this weekend before work?" He giggles
"Nope! We both have to be out of the house by nine, no time for sex, we already did this weekend, everywhere!" Jessica moves away and walks over to the mirror that was on the wall in the hallway.
"You're looking pretty stunning yourself, Miss Lange."
"You think? I want to make a good impression. When I met with you aunt yesterday she told me that I'd be meeting with some clients, looking over their ideas, brainstorming, and visiting their homes. Me and these little fellas have a long day." Jessica rubs her stomach and sighs.
"If it's too much for you, stop and relax. You can't overwork yourself. Those babies need to stay on for a long time!"
"They will, trust me. Now let's get a move on!"

Danny and Jessica stopped at Mary's office. Danny was then planning on taking a taxi to his office building.
"Good luck today, kick some ass." Jessica giggles taking Danny's hand.
"Good luck to you... today is the official first day of a fresh start. It feels great."
"It really does, we are going to be happy here."
"Good!
Well I should get going, I love you and the little babies in there!" Danny hugs Jessica and gives her a kiss.
"Have a good day, I'll see you at home!" Jessica waves as Danny hops into the taxi cab.

"Jessica, I'm really excited to have you working with me and my friends. My little company like I told you before brings in lots of clients. Around summer time is when we are really busy, but you'll do great. Today we are meeting with some contractors and painters. Our big project this month is for the Millers. They are re-doing their entire basement. Construction starts on the twenty-fifth of June. We have lots of planning!" Mary walks Jessica around the office introducing her to everyone and discussing major upcoming events.
Mary helped Jessica get situated at her desk. She sat down with Jessica for a bit.
"I know towards the end of your pregnancy things can be a lot harder, especially with twins. I've been there! Jessica, if you ever need a breather just let me know. I don't want to overwork you." Mary says sincerely
"Thank you, Mary. I'll be fine, I'm excited to start working here and I want to thank you so much for giving me this opportunity. The only thing I'm worried about is the Miller's construction date, that's cutting it close."
"I'm glad you were up for the offer. And I'm glad that you and Danny are together. You both looked so happy when we were at lunch together. Also, I totally forgot your due date is just around the corner. July first... wow! Twin pregnancies are always a surprise, even from the start, so maybe resting those last few weeks would be better." Mary giggles
"I didn't know you had twins." Jessica says curiously
"Yep, two boys! Jax and Jay. That was a long time ago!"
"Ahh, very nice.... Thank you again, Mary. I'm really excited."

Jessica had a great first day. She enjoyed everything about her new job. She loved he environment, people, and the new things she learned.
When Jessica got off work she went to the deli and got some things for dinner. She wanted to make a celebratory dinner for her and Danny.
Since they didn't have lots of options at the deli, Jessica just prepared a simple grilled cheese sandwich with tomato sauce when she hit back to the apartment.
She set up the table and waited for Danny to get home.
"Honey, I'm home!" Danny says enthusiastically walking in.
Jessica slowly stood up and wobbled over to Danny kissing him on the cheek and taking his briefcase.
"I will never get tired of hearing that! Don't ever stop!" Jessica giggles
"It smells amazing, did you make grilled cheese?"
"Of course! It's your favorite!"
"Haha, thank you. How about we sit and talk about our first days!"
...
"My boss is a bad ass Jessica. He's one of the greatest district attorneys. It's crazy, he's the kind of lawyer I want to become. Being a district attorney is awesome, working at the DA's office, it's just great. I'm sorry I keep rambling. How was your first day?" Danny couldn't stop smiling as him and Jessica talked about work. He was just so happy, everything was falling into place.
"I'm glad you had a good first day too. It was just an amazing day. I love it here. I love my job, our home, New York, you, the babies... I love everything!"
"I love that enthusiasm. Things are working out just perfectly. And soon after the babies are born we can get married. It makes me smile just thinking about marriage."
Jessica and Danny never talked much about marriage. They only talked about waiting a few years. Jessica loved Danny and wanted to marry him, but only in a few years.
Jessica coughed for a moment and held her chest.
"Did I say something wrong?" Danny chuckles as Jessica sips her water.
"Marriage?" Jessica clears her through and stares at Danny.
"Yea, don't you want to get married?" Danny drops his sandwich and looks at Jessica.
"Of course I do, but I thought we decided it wouldn't be for a few years..."
"What if we just got married sooner. We love each other, we are happy, and we have babies on the way."
Jessica was in a tough situation. She didn't know what to say that wouldn't make Danny upset or hurt.
"I love you, but we don't need marriage right now. We don't need to get married to be happy, raise our children, and love each other."
"I-I just thought you might have changed your mind. I was really hoping that you would've." Danny's change in time changes. His voice becomes softer and more mellow.
"Danny, come on hun. Planning a wedding is not on the top of my priority list. We have babies on the way and work. Do you really want to rush into marriage now?"
"Marriage isn't a priority, Jessica?"
Jessica was lost for words. She felt as if she had dug herself deep. She loved Danny, but something inside her scared her about the idea of marriage. She didn't know if it was marriage in general or marrying Danny that scared her.

What do you want to happen next? I need some ideas lol.
