The curtains were shut. No light was able to enter Jessica's room and shine. She laid alone. I'm between her was a long pillow that she wrapped her body around. A large quilt covered her. Her body faced the bathroom door. She sat still like she was frozen. She didn't have the urge to get up or do anything. Her eyes were wide open. She did nothing other than lay there. This is how it had been for the last few days.
The door slowly creeped open letting in a small ounce of sunlight.
"Jessica, I brought you some soup." Dorthy holds a tray in her hand and slowly walks over to Jessica.
Jessica didn't move. "You didn't have to do that."
Dorthy sets the tray on her nightstand then sits on the bed. She rubs Jessica's back and sighs.
"Maybe tomorrow we can go shopping. We can get our nails done and have a fun girls day." Dorthy says enthusiastically.
"Where are the babies? They need to eat soon." Jessica sits up and looks around.
Dorthy holds onto her. "They are napping."
"I'm sorry mom. I'm so sorry. I'm being a burden. Let me get a hotel room." Jessica starts to cry unexpectedly catching Dorthy by surprise.
"Jessie, don't be silly. You aren't being a burden." Dorthy wipes away her tears and softly smiles.
"I-I don't know what I'm doing. I need to figure out what I want." Jessica nods her head and fiddles with her hands. Dorthy grabs them and stops her. She didn't mean to make Jessica nervous. She had never seen her like this before.
"The babies, they need me. I can't be there for them! I took them away. I made him go home. What kind of mother am I? I need to go back." Jessica throws the covers off of herself and rushes to the closet.
"No, Jessica stop." Dorthy chases after her and walks her back to the bed. By this time Jessica was a wreck. Her eyes were puffy and red.
"I'm sorry." Jessica says slowly falling back onto the bed.
Dorthy tucks her back in and rubs her forehead.
"Eat your soup, honey. Get some rest before those babies wake up. Relax, just rest."
Jessica nods her head and goes back into the same position that Dorthy found it in.

Dorthy walked back to the house and into the kitchen. She was so discouraged. She couldn't stop thinking about Jessica.
George and Albert were eating their dinner in the kitchen when she walked in.
"Is she okay?" Albert says
Dorthy shakes her head and holds her hands to her lips. "She'll be okay... Jessica will be okay." She utters
"Is everything okay? Why aren't the babies with her in the guest house? What's going on?" George says anxiously
"I don't think she can watch the babies right now. I think I'm going to stay with her tonight. If that's okay, Albert."
"Of course... does she need anything?"
"I need to call someone. This isn't right." Dorthy runs into the other room with the babies leaving George and Albert worried.
"Dad, is Jessica going crazy?" George says
Albert hits his arm and glares at him. "No! Don't be so insensitive."

Jessica's POV-
Jessica laid in her room with her phone near her face. She watched as she kept getting texts from Danny.
*Come home, baby. Please I miss you.*
*We are family. I love you.*
*I'll do anything. Please just answer.*
*Jess, are you okay? You always answer. What's going on. Are the babies okay? Are you okay?*
The next morning-
Dorthy slept with the babies in the spare room that was in the guest house. She was worried for Jessica. She wasn't herself. It was like the depression had some how got worse. Dorthy thought Jessica was responding great to the medicine. Now her mood completely shifted. It was six in the morning. The babies were up crying for Jessica so they could eat. She rushed into Jessica's room and opened the curtains and turned on the lights. Jessica slowly started to wake up. She hadn't taken a shower in days nor had she changed her close. Her eyes had bags under them and she hasn't seen the sunlight. Dorthy tossed the feeding pillow onto the bed. She went and got Scarlett and handed her to Jessica. Then she got Wyatt and helped Jessica get ready to feed them.
"You need to get better, Jessica. I want to help you. Please let me take you back to the doctors. I love you and I hate seeing you like this." Dorthy looks at Jessica with fright in her eyes.
"I hate feeling like this." Jessica looks down at the babies and back at Dorthy. "I just want to be a mom again."
**
Jessica waited in the waiting room with Dorthy and the babies. She was glad she had her mother to be there to help. She was glad that Dorthy even noticed that something was wrong. Jessica was just so confused as to why she felt like everything was okay then her whole body shifted into a negative direction.
"Jessica, after reading over everything you told the nurse I think I know the problem." He says
"Is everything okay? What's wrong? I hate feeling like this!" Jessica raises her voice.
"Your depression is getting deeper. You explained that you felt like the medicine was working then they stopped. I think you are having a reaction to your depressants. I'd like to put you on a different kind, a stronger one." He begins writing a script.
"That's all? You're just going to give me medicine and hope it works?" Jessica snaps
"Jessica, there is not much I can do. If you continue going to your therapy it will all get better." He says sincerely
"It doesn't feel like it will! I can't be there for my kids. I took them away from their dad. Now I'm here thinking maybe he should have taken them away from me because I feel crazy!"
"Don't say that Jessica. You are a wonderful mother." Dorthy says
"I don't feel like it!"
**
Jessica sat in the living room with the babies. She got a voicemail from Danny and decided to open it. She hadn't heard his voice in weeks. A part of her missed it.
"Jessica, I love you. I really do. I fucked up big time. I thought what I was doing was right but I got so caught up in doing the right thing that I forgot about the most important thing. That is family. I want to help you get better and make you feel better. We are family. I miss my family. You haven't been answering your calls. I just need to hear your voice and hear that you are okay and doing better. The babies are two months now... god, I miss them. I don't think I can wait until the wedding. Please, just call me. I'm sorry, I love you, I love you, I love you!"
Jessica shut off her phone then sighed. She held her fingers out and Wyatt grabbed onto one.
"I'm trying... I really am, love." She mumbles
