"Jess, it's okay to feel this way. Just know that you can stay here as long as you want. You and the babies are always welcome." Dorthy sits next to Jessica on the couch and Ann sits on the other side. Albert was across from the three of them. He was silent and didn't say much.

"Don't be scared for him to come. Once you see him and talk to him you'll feel so much better." Ann says

"Did he hurt you?" Albert stands up and clenches his fist.

Jessica tears up and stands up with him. She walks over to Albert and hugs him. "No, he never would. This is all me, I'm the reason why." Jessica chokes up a bit. Albert holds her in his arms and comforts her.

"I just want you to be happy. You deserve to be happy."

"He's such a great man. This is why everything is so difficult." Jessica turns to her mother and Ann who listened.

"Maybe when you seem him things will change. All you can do is live your life and get better. Don't think about it now, Jessica. It will just make you more upset."

A few days later-

"I can't believe it's only twenty-one days until I marry him! I mean seriously, wasn't it just yesterday that we met at that party!" Sarah rambles on and Jessica just listens. All she really did was listen with everything on her mind.

Jessica nods and smiles then reaches for Scarlett and Wyatt who were next to her in their scroller.

"Then when I have kids I'll be thinking about how it was just yesterday that I got married." Sarah says softly. She loved watching Jessica with the babies. It only made her crave motherhood even more.

"They are a blessing." She smiles at them then fixes their outfits.

"I really hope everything goes okay with Danny."

"Me too. But let's not talk about that. Let's talk about your wedding!"

After lunch Jessica and Sarah were getting ready to leave when someone stopped them.

"Jessica, wow... hi!" A man says

Jessica turns around as she turns the stroller around with her. She stops when she sees Sam. She was relieved to see him.

"Sam!" Jessica smiles and hugs him.

"Sarah, hey." Sam turns to her and gives her a hug. Jessica's eyes follow him as she smiles.

"How are you? You look great! Last time I saw you you were pregnant. Are these the babies?" Sam says peeking his head into the stroller.

Jessica nods then answers. "Yep, that's Scarlett and Wyatt. I'm doing well, how are you?" She says

"I'm doing okay. Hey, I'd love to sit and chat sometime. How long are you in town for?"

"How about now? I was just leaving but I don't mind staying a little longer."

"I'll let you two catch up. I'll see you for the dress fitting tomorrow, jess." Sarah hugs her goodbye then says goodbye to Sam.

"Let me get us some coffees and we can talk. I'll be right back." Sam rushes to the counter and Jessica sits down.

When Sam gets back he sits across from Jessica. They both couldn't stop smiling and they didn't know why.

"The babies are beautiful... my goodness!" He says

"Haha, thank you. I wish they weren't sleeping right now." Jessica giggles

"It gives us more time to talk, right?" He says

Jessica and Sam sit there for almost an hour. It didn't seem like an hour to Jessica. She loved talking with him. She missed it. Sam was out of the marines and back in school. He moved into a house and started working with his uncle in construction.

"How long are you and Danny staying for?" He asks unexpectedly.

Jessica cleared her throat. "Danny's in New York. It's just me and the twins. I don't really know when I'm going back." She says

"Oh, I'm sorry... I didn't know."

"Don't apologize. Life is just a crazy mess... isn't it?"

"I guess so. Just when you think everything's going fine the world turns on you."

Jessica nods

"I always loved talking with you. I feel like we could go on for hours." Sam adds

"And we can still talk. You have my number." Jessica exclaims

"I'll call more."

"Good."

"And Jessica, if you ever need to talk I'm here too. Remember how we'd just sit in bed with beer and talk. We talked like teenagers." Sam chuckles

"I for sure remember. And I'll take you up on that offer sometime."

"I'll give you a house tour one of these days."

"Perfect! I'd love to see your house!"

As they talk some more Scarlett begins to cry. Jessica sighs then picks her up.

"As much as I'd love to stay, these babies need to get home and get fed. Hopefully I can see you soon?" Jessica says

"Of course, I'll call you. Maybe I can invite you over for dinner? You and the babies can come."

"Haha, alright."

Jessica was out by the car strapping the babies in when Sam runs over to her.

"Hey" she giggles shutting the door.

"What would be your choice of beverage?" He asks

"What?"

"Somehow every time we reunite we share conversation over coffee. Enough of the damn coffee. If you come over for dinner I want to give you something other than coffee."

"Iced tea?" She chuckles

"Iced tea it is!"
