Marinette's POV

"Marinette." Chat said.

"What?" I said back confused.

 "Why are you taking a walk? It's raining."

"Oh, I just felt like taking one."

"Can we go to your house to talk?" Chat said.

"Why? I already told my dad that I am going to take a walk. It will seem weird if I just go back to the house right now, I just left the house like a minute ago."

"Really?" Chat said, "Where were you 10 minutes ago then?" 

Oh shoot... I remember that I told him that I was not home.

"I was... with Alya!"

Chat came closer to me; I saw the look in his eyes. He seemed as if he was... mad at me.

"Marinette." Chat began, "I don't like liars."

"What are you talking about?" I said panicking.

"I already know that you guys aren't friends anymore. I'm going to ask you this again and you're going to tell me the truth. Where were you 10 minutes ago?"

"I was helping my dad in the bakery."

"So, if I ask your dad, your dad is going to tell me that you actually helped him in the bakery 10 minutes ago?"

I didn't say anything after that. I just shook my head no. "Look, Chat." I said, "I just can't tell you what I did."

"Why can't you?"

"Because... it's a secret. "

"Or it's maybe because you aren't trustworthy." Chat said as he went away. 

I looked down as I felt a tear in my eye. I just continued walking to forget about everything that happened, but it didn't work.

While I was walking, I heard people screaming in the distant. I looked ahead and I saw an aukmatized victim. I quickly went to a non-crowded area and transformed. 

Chat noir's POV

I should've never said that to Marinette, but I had to. She did so much bad things to Melody when Melody did nothing to her. 

I decided to go back to my house until I heard people screaming. 

I looked at the akumatized villain. They had on tall black high heels with a red skirt. Their shirt was also red too, but their eyes were purple. 

What kind of villain costume is that?

I was walking up to the akumatized villain, but a handheld me back.

"What are you doing?" Ladybug said, "We need to think of a plan before we go attack her."

"Oh yeah." I said in embarrassment, "So what's the plan?"

"I always pick, it's time for you to pick the plan."

"What if we sneak up behind her?"

"We don't even know her power, idiot." Ladybug said as she used her yoyo and went next to the villain. 

What is wrong with her?

I decided to follow her. Ladybug side eyed me when she saw me come next to her.

"You know that my plan would work better..." I said to Ladybug.

She groaned as she said, "Can you leave me alone for like 10 minutes? I can do this by myself. You don't always have to help all the time."

I looked at her shocked. What did I even do to her?

"Are you okay, Ladybug; do you want to talk about this?" I said to her.

Ladybug looked at me with mad eyes. She got her yoyo and tied it around me. After, she threw the hard part of the yoyo at my face. "You help me?" She began, "I don't think that's ever going to happen." 

I was speechless. I know Ladybug has been mad at me sometimes, but never like this. 

The akumatized villain just starred at us the whole time. 

"CAN YOU AT LEAST UN TIE ME?" I yelled at her, but she already walked away. Doesn't she need the yoyo to defeat her?

"It's just you and me I guess." Ladybug said to the akumatized villain. She got her yoyo and said, "Lucky charm." She got the luck charm object and threw it at my face, and she used her yoyo to tie the akumatized villain and broke every object on her. 

So, you're telling me she could have done that all the other times too? I guess she only knows how to un-akumatize a villain when she's mad. 

Ladybug grabbed her headband and broke it, then the akuma flew out. She took the yoyo off of her to purify the akuma. 

"Give me the object." Ladybug said with anger. 

"What's the magic word?" I said, smiling.

"I'm not fucking joking with you, Chat."

I stopped smiling and threw the object at her. "Miraculous ladybug!" She said and she walked away. 

"Pound it?" I said wondering if we were going to do that. 

I saw Ladybug look at the person who was akumatized.

It was...

Melody.

"I have no time to do that, Chat." Ladybug said as she used her yoyo to go away. 

I went up to Melody, and said, "Do you know your way home?"

"Well, uh-"

"Great! Now bye." I said interrupting her. 

I ran after Ladybug. "Ladybug, wait!" I yelled. She looked back but kept walking. "We can talk about this if you want!" Ladybug still ignored me and kept walking. "Please..."

"DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHERE I LIVE OR WHAT?" Ladybug yelled as she stopped walking. 

"What, no! I would probably know your secret identity then."

"THEN STOP FOLLOWING ME!" Ladybug said as she used her yoyo once again and disappeared. 

I was planning on following her, but I didn't want to know her secret identity. Maybe we can finally talk next time...

I went in my room and de-transformed.

"Oh my gosh... don't tell me you have feelings for Ladybug again! I thought you loved Marinette." Plagg said as he slapped his head. 

"Plagg," I said, "I don't think I like either of them anymore." I said looking away. 

"WHAT?! MARINETTE IS YOUR GIRLFRIEND! HOW CAN YOU DITCH HER LIKE THAT?"

"It's because she's being rude to Melody, and she also didn't even bother to tell me what she did. She isn't even trustworthy. Plus, I think I like someone else..."

"Who is it now? Kagami?"

"No, I think it's Melody."

"OH MY GOSH- YOU FOOL! YOU DIDN'T EVEN BREAK UP WITH MARINETTE, HOW CAN YOU LIKE SOMEONE ELSE!"

"I'll break up with her tomorrow, at school."

"You're going to embarrass her you idiot."

"So?"

"No wonder why Ladybug doesn't like you anymore."

I looked at Plagg and rolled my eyes. 

Ladybug's POV

I should've never said nor do those things to Chat, but if he wants to be rude to me as Marinette, then he also has to be rude to me as Ladybug. 

The thing that made me madder was that the akumatized villain was Melody. I bet she is going to tell a lie that I was the reason why I got akumatized. She is even worse than Lila. 

I went in my room and de-transformed. I went in my bed and slammed my head in my pillow. Then, I thought of something. 

MY DAD DOESN'T KNOW I'M HOME.

"Tikki, spots on!" I said as I went through my balcony then outside of the bakery. 

I opened the door, and said "Hi papa, I'm back."

"Marinette," My dad said, "What did I tell you about staying outside after 12 am? It's seriously 1 am right now!"

"Oh, sorry! I didn't realize the time." I said. 

"Well, go to bed now! You have school tomorrow."

I forgot about that... and Alya doesn't even like me anymore, nor does Adrien!

"Good night." I said as I walked up to my room. 

I went to my bed and slammed my head into my pillow, once again. 

"Marinette." Tikki said, "Do you want to talk about this?"

"Not now. Maybe tomorrow." I said to Tikki.
