Marinette's POV

I picked up my backpack as I walked out of the school. I had to clean my house before Adrien, Alya and Nino came over. I just couldn't stop thinking about what Melody said to me. I got my umbrella as I walked to my house.

"Marinette..." Tikki said, "Why would you say that to Melody, what if she got akumatized?"

"She won't, Tikki. You don't have to be so paranoid." 

I got a message from my phone, I looked at the text, and it said, 

"We're not coming over anymore. How could you bully Melody and expect us to be your friend still?"

I started to panic. What do they mean by bully? I just asked her a question... 

"WHAT DID I DO?!" I yelled.

"Calm down, Marinette!" Tikki said.

"CALM DOWN? YOU'RE JUST SO PARANOID THAT I'M GOING TO GET AKUMATIZED!"

"No- well, yes I am!"

"TIKKI SPOTS ON SO I WON'T HAVE TO HEAR YOUR ANNOYING VOICE ANYMORE!"

What did I just say... AND WHAT DID I JUST DO?! 

I just went on my balcony. I didn't feel like transforming back. 

It was still raining. Good thing my suit was waterproof. 

I was just looking at the view until a cat caught my attention. What is he doing out here, and why is he coming closer to me?

"Hello M'lady. What are you doing on Marinette's balcony?"

Worst decision ever...

"Oh well uhm- I decided to come here to... talk to Marinette!" I said in embarrassment. 

"About what?"

"Oh pfft... it's nothing! I was just bored and wanted to talk to someone."

"Oh... well, I guess we both can talk to her. I also came here to also talk to Marinette." Chat said as he was knocking on the trapdoor.

"WAIT!" I said, "She's uhm- not here!"

"Then where is she? Marinette is always home after school."

"Oh, uhm, I don't know. You should check for her tomorrow."

"Okay... bye, I guess." Chat said as he went away.

That was a close one. I almost got caught. 

I decided to go inside of my room when Chat went away. "Tikki, spots off." I said as I sat on my chair. Tikki didn't bother to look nor talk to me. I did the same. Instead, I decided to get my phone and text Alya.

The text:

Marinette: Hi, Alya... I'm sorry for what I said to her. I was just asking why she always laughed when something wasn't funny. I didn't know that she had Pseudobulbar affect. Also, I apologize for asking if she was mute, it was just that she didn't talk as much. Can you tell her this please, so she knows how sorry I am?

Alya: You did not just do those things to Melody...

Marinette: Wait, what else did I do?

Alya: You also called her a liar for being friends with Lila, and you also pushed her. She even showed us the bruise she got because of you. Why do you always act like these around new students? You also didn't like Lila and called her a liar. The only liar here is you, Marinette. 

Marinette: WHAT? I DID NOT DO THOSE THINGS TO HER! THE BRUISE IS FAKE, I DON'T REMEMBER PUSHING HER OR CALLING HER A LIAR!

Nino: You can keep lying, but we aren't going to believe you. Adrien, Alya and I decided to not be your friend anymore. 

I dropped my phone out of my hand. Even Adrien too? He was always on my side... and now he doesn't want to be? 

"THIS STUPID MELODY GIRL THINKS SHE CAN RUIN MY LIFE! SHE IS THE SAME AS LILA, BUT EVEN WORSE!" I said as I picked up my phone, and threw it across the room, "YOU KNOW WHAT? I'M GOING TO DO ALL OF THOSE THINGS SHE LIED ABOUT SO IT WON'T BE A LIE ANYMORE!"

"Marinette, wait!" Tikki said, "You can't be mad about that, right? You have Juleka, Rose, Mylene, Luka, Alix, Kim-"

"TIKKI, YOU ARE NOT HELPING!"

"At least I tried... just try to ignore them. Did you forgot that you also have Chat?"

"But what if that liar lies to him too and he thinks I'm a bad person?"

"Then he will have you as Ladybug."

Maybe Tikki was right.

But then I thought of something...

"What if she also tells Chat something bad that Ladybug- I mean I did!"

"Marinette..." Tikki began, "How are you calling me paranoid when you are the one being paranoid right now. Just go take a walk or something, and this time, don't transform into Ladybug just to escape your problems."

I just looked away when Tikki said that. I always use Ladybug to escape my problems, and now it's time for that to end. 

I decided to put on a red, thing jacket since it was raining. I fixed my hair inside of a bun and went down to the bakery.

"Where are you going?" My dad said.

"Oh, I'm just going to take a walk." I said back.

"It's raining..."

"I know that."

"If you get sick, don't blame me. I'm just going to tell you from now."

"Of course, I wouldn't, bye."

"Bye."

I walked out of the building. The streets looked kind of empty, which was good. 

As I was walking, I felt someone tap my shoulder. I looked back, and I saw...
