Plot- this plot begins in PoA, where a muggleborn hufflepuff and a pureblood Slytherin make an unlikely friendship. The friendship was mostly platonic, since Adriana was quite close with another muggleborn, Hermione Granger. Adriana and Harry are also very close, which leads to a number of arguments between Draco and Adriana about Harry. Much like Severus Snape and Lily Evans about James Potter. Draco's nickname for Adriana is Addy.

Throughout PoA, Adriana is constantly switching between two friend groups, mainly sticking with Draco though. Draco doesn't introduce Adriana to his friends for fear they might offend her or be rude. It's quite simple, following the PoA plot with a few fluffy scenes in it.

In GoF, Narcissa INSISTS that Draco brings Adriana to the World Cup with them. Lucius tried to overrule her but, I mean come on, Narcissa is a queen and she wanted Adriana to come. When the death eaters run riot, Draco is very protective over Adriana because he knows they are after muggleborns. Adriana isn't sure why draco is so bothered about her safety specifically until they run into hermione.

Draco and Adriana start to get closer in a strange way that scares Draco. He doesn't believe he could ever love Adriana like that. The triwizard tournament comes and goes and there is a tense angsty moment where Draco offers Hermione a Potter stinks badge, and calls her a Mudblood. Unfortunately, Adriana was right behind hermione and heard everything. She runs away to the girls bathroom and refuses to leave even when Hermione joins her.

Draco apologies profusely, even resulting to stand outside the common room door until she comes out. Adriana doesn't understand why he doesn't like muggleborns and Draco promises it would never happen again. And it doesn't, but their relationship is still tense.

GoF in the Yule Bale, Adriana attends with Ernie Macmillan and doesn't have a very nice time as she hasn't really seen Ernie as anything other than a friend. What she couldn't see was that Draco was staring at her the entire time, and he was jealous.

OotP comes and Adriana looks very much older, and Draco points it out in an awkward fluffy moment. Adriana gets flustered and embarrassed and she isn't sure why. Adriana consults with Hermione and Hermione says it's a crush and that Adriana likes Draco. Adriana had joined the DA with Hermione. The main reason they manage to get away after Hermione, Ron, and Harry get Umbridge away is because Draco stunned the other Slytherin's and let Adriana go. Adriana kisses his cheek quickly before they go.

After the whole ministry battle, Draco is relieved to see Adriana is okay after hearing about the battle from his Aunt Bellatrix. Adriana is glad to see Draco again too.

In HBP, Adriana is first to realise something is wrong with Draco, and is first to suss (apart from Harry) that Draco is a death eater. The pair spend numerous nights in the Room of Requirement while Draco cries and Adriana attempts to console him. He never wanted to be a death eater. Adriana understands and allows Draco to confided in her about his task. Adriana is accepted into the Slugclub and is shocked when Draco is dragged into the Christmas-do, she shrugged off McClaggen, who, upon getting rejected by Hermione, went after Adriana instead. She follows snape and Draco to where they are but bumps into an invisible Harry. The pair are silently agreeing that they know what is going on but Adriana NEVER tells Harry that Draco is or isn't a death eater.

When death eaters break into the castle with Draco's help, his first instinct is to make sure they don't find Adriana. Unfortunately, she chases him out of the castle, begging him not to leave. Not to do this. Bellatrix uses an unforgivable on her (Crucio) and only stopped when Draco yelled at her to stop.

Adriana is left behind allowing Harry to bring her back to the castle.

DH, Adriana is brought back to her muggle world and is on the run. Unable to attend hogwarts because she is muggleborn, Adriana joins forces with fellow Muggleborn, Dean Thomas, and they try to avoid capture. Soon they meet Ted Tonks, Dirk Cresswell, and two goblins and continue to avoid capture. Ultimately they end up in the same place as where the Golden Trio are camping out in hiding. When they are captured, Ted and Dirk are killed, so is one of the goblins, while her, Dean and griphook are detained. Almost an hour later, Harry, Ron and Hermione are captured too. They all thought she was dead upon hearing Ted and Dirk were dead too, and that herself and Dean are missing.

In Malfoy Manor, Draco is meant to identify Hermione and Harry, but his eyes are instantly drawn to the bloodied Adriana with a busted lip and a black eye. Harry, Ron, Dean, and Griphook are sent to the dungeon, while Bellatrix keeps Adriana and Hermione. Adriana is kept in the tight grasp of Greyback, and Hermione is tortured. Draco tried to intervene but Bellatrix turns on Adriana, cursing her after Hermione passed out. At that time, Harry and Ron have escaped and ambush the group. Draco grabs Adriana in the confusion, hugging her close to him. Dobby appears and Draco tells Adriana to go, instructing Harry firmly to take care of her.

They disapparate and Bill and Fleur take them in without question. After a while, Dean, Ollivander, Luna, and Adriana go to Mrs Weasley's Aunt Muriel's with Ginny, and the other Weasleys. Adriana spent her first day back with Mrs Weasley, telling her that Ron was okay, as was Bill and Fleur. Mrs Weasley was grateful.

Using the DA coins, The Weasleys manage to get to hogsmeade in time to fight.

The fight goes well, but Draco doesn't join his mother and father. His father calls for him but Narcissa doesn't. She watches as Adriana begs Draco to stay, to chose the right side. Narcissa knows her son loves this girl so when Draco looks to her for advice she gives him a slight nod that makes him hug Adriana tightly. They both LIVE!
