Plot- this is set in CoS, with Cedric and Alannah in their fourth year. Alannah has two close friend who are girls, and they are constantly fawning of Cedric. Alannah doesn't get it, sure he's handsome but she'd seen better. Of course that was a lie, but nobody needed to know that. Unfortunately for her, Cedric Diggory caught her looking at him ONCE and found it hilarious.

Alannah is a metamorphmagus and was quite close with hufflepuff, Nymphadora Tonks in her first and second years. Alannah often has her hair blonde but around Cedric, he makes a very hard effort to embarrass or fluster her, causing her hair to turn bright, bubblegum pink.

Alannah is a hufflepuff.

In PoA, it's pretty much like a James and Lily situation, with Alannah paying very little attention to Cedric and Cedric trying hard to impress her. Alannah is out with her friends near the Black Lake when Cedric's friends come over with Cedric. Alannah's two friends are dating Cedric's two friends and somehow they end up swimming in the Black Lake. Alannah and Cedric don't go in but sit on a wooden pier and dip their feet in. In a moment, Cedric picks her up and throws her in. This is the moment where some form of crush forms. Cedric jumps in after Alannah and they end up just staring at each other before Alannah dips under to scare him, and succeeds.

In GoF, Alannah and Cedric had been teasing each other all summer by owl. Eventually Cedric invites Alannah to the World Cup with them. It's actually quite tense when they meet up but after a few jokes the tension is gone and they are laughing like teenagers.

Alannah is pureblood like Cedric, so when the death eaters come she is safe. Amos runs off to help the ministry, while Cedric and Alannah run into the woods. Alannah is worried, constantly looking over her shoulder and Cedric manages to calm her slightly.

At the tournament, Cedric is convinced by his friends to enter, Alannah thinks it's all a joke and enters herself in too. Alannah is chosen, earning applause from all the hufflepuffs, especially her best friends and Cedric. The first task, Cedric and Alannah's two friends help her.

In the second task, Alannah's hostage is Cedric, which kinda surprises her and him. Cedric kisses Alannah after they get all dried off, resulting in Cedric asked Alannah to the ball much to Alannah's friends' amusement.

The third task comes and Cedric is feeling off about it. A fluffy moment comes where Cedric tells Alannah how he feels and she admits she likes him too. She enters the maze and doesn't return alive.
