*Bhairavi Pov*

I stepped inside his chamber through the connecting door and saw that he is lying on the floor and not on the bed making me frown.

"Alastair!" I whispered his name while tapping on his uninjured shoulder.

"What?" he asked with a sleepy voice.

"I am going to call for the maids for water to have a bath. It would be good if you wake up." I replied and he stood up with a frown.

"I thought you will not be entering in here at all." He mumbled and I remember my words uttering to him to not enter my chamber.

"I never said that I am not allowed here. Anyway the maids shouldn't talk anything about us and they will if we step out of different chambers." I uttered before throwing the blanket on the bed and opened the door.

"Tina!" I called for her and nodded at few maids who are walking around to clean the Palace.

"Yes, Your highness?" She asked entering inside, but didn't lift her eyes to glance at him.

"Can you ask someone to bring water for the both bathing chambers and also clean the bed in my chamber?" I asked her and she nodded before following the instructions.

"I thought you said for no one to know about our sleeping arrangements." Alastair whispered standing behind me.

"I trust her!" I simply uttered, but didn't move away.

Tina left to my chamber after filling water inside the washroom of Alastair's for him and I took a step to walk inside following her but he stopped holding me from behind.

"You are looking beautiful." He whispered in my ear, brushing his lips over it.

"I just woke up." I uttered removing his hands and stepped inside the chamber of mine even closing the doors behind me.

"Ask someone to send the morning food to his chamber along with mine with his." I mumbled to Tina and she slowly nodded.

"He seems to be bewitched about you." She mumbled while tightening the ties of my chemise after my bath.

"Wait for sometime and you can see how his feelings change within moments." I uttered frowning at her.

"I do not know what happened, but can tell something had happened between you two when you were in Nadir, Your highness." She uttered and I didn't shake off her words as negative.

"Nothing matters now and I need to see for the remaining changes in the Kingdom along with him." I mumbled but didn't add until he stays here.

"These are a lot of things to eat in the morning." He uttered glancing at the food.

"You are the King so the chef didn't want to disappoint you in anything but do not worry, you can eat only the things you wish and remaining will be given away." I mumbled and sat little away from him.

"After this you can wish for a tour around the palace or about the Kingdom and then join me at the workroom." I added not glancing at him.

"Will you give me a tour?" He questioned.

"No! My minister Ravi will be giving the tour for everyone. He knows what is there in every place so you will not have any problem to know about anything." I replied and continued to have my food.

"Will you ever forgive me?" he questioned making me still for a second but I composed myself.

"There is nothing wrong to forgive you. You are now a King of this Kingdom and I am the Queen." I replied.

"I already told you, Bhairavi. I may be given the title but you will be the ruler. However, I will be there with you for every wish you have to be fulfilled." He murmured raising up while I stood up in the middle of his words.

When he started placing his hand over my face, I pushed it away saying "Do not touch me."

"Why?" He questioned holding my face with both his hands.

"It is my wish for you to not touch me." I replied and he removed them slowly.

"King Vali! I do not think a forceful applying of this rule in those Kingdoms will give any peace to us." I uttered not accepting the way he is suggesting to implement Non-slave rule.

"But how can we achieve it when we know this thing is major in those areas." He mumbled and we both glanced up hearing someone clearing their throat.

"King Alastair! How do you feel after the tour about your wife's Kingdom?" King Vali questioned Alastair while he is staring only at me.

"I showed him everything and also the stables. Can I take my leave for the training with Councils?" Ravi asked and I nodded for him to leave.

"I have arranged everything for you at your table." I uttered gesturing my Father's table and he nodded before settling in it.

King Vali and I continued to discuss about the issue here, but I kept on glancing at Alastair to see him pulling the tunic away from his neck one moment and then staring around in another moment.

He kept on sighing and rubbing his temple, but I stayed quiet and decided to continue the meeting after his return from his Kingdom which is after a few days as he needs to return this moment.

I stepped out of the workroom along with King Vali and stayed until his chariot left the palace. Asking about the guest chambers in which the King and Queen are staying I left to meet them.

"I apologize for not meeting with you soon." I mumbled stepping inside.

"There is nothing to apologize, Your highness." Queen Sabrina uttered making me frown.

"You should not be using the title for me as you are family and also you are a ruler of a place for yourselves." I mumbled and they both sighed.

"We gave up on the Nadir to our Son after knowing that we failed to raise him in a good way. So we followed Alastair's decision." King Teodor uttered, and they both explained what actually happened.

"But you all are not the persons who could give up on your people." I pointed out.

"Yes! We will leave for the Nadir after few days when he gets healed completely and decided about the people." She uttered and I nodded, looking down because I know they all will return soon along with Alastair.

"What shall I call you?" Queen asked.

"Like you called me when I was with you all." I replied with a small smile.

"Child! He will not return with us. He said he will not rule the people who do not want you. He thought of settling anywhere after he found you." She explained and I felt little surprised.

"But it is his right to rule it." I mumbled, not liking him giving up his place.

"Maybe he found something more important than the ruling. I sure know it is not something new right." King uttered with a knowing look.

"I sure hope everything is according to your bidding." I murmured, not wanting to talk about it.

"You are being too kind to us. We are having a small meeting with the Council before they leave to give up the old misunderstandings." King mumbled.

"I wish for everything to go smoothly. I will take my leave and the food can be brought here or at the eating table in the dining area along with us and Council." I said before leaving their chamber and walked near the workroom only to stop in tracks to see him sleeping on the chair he is sititng on.

"Alastair!" I called tapping on the table and he jerked open his eyes.

"Yes?" he asked, rubbing his face.

"We need to leave for the afternoon food with the Council." I replied and he nodded, raising up before we both left for the dining area.

"So King Alastair, we heard your touring around the palace. What did you feel about the way it is?" Elder member questioned him.

"It is great." He simply replied, giving me a small glance.

"We are hoping for you to bring new ruling as we heard you were supposed to be the ruler of Nadir." Another member pointed out.

"Let's have the food first." I pointed out and they all smiled before doing it.

"They are very tough towards me." Alastair whispered, but I didn't comment on it.

They all too left as the cases must be pending at their land to be solved. After they left I asked for few maids to clean their chambers and also the men to look regarding the cleaning at the place before this Palace.

I continued to stay at in the workplace and Alastair accompanied me sitting idle at his place. He didn't disturb me and I didn't let him, but he actually did by continuously glancing at me and blinking his eyes for every few seconds.

"You can go and have some rest and the food will be sent to your chambers." I uttered realizing he felt dizzy to sleep.

"No! We both will have it together." He uttered.

"I will ask for it right now." I mumbled and asked a maid to bring our food.

"Now go and sleep." I uttered, and he did after having the food with me.

I shook my head and finished the checking of details regarding livestock before stepping out of the workroom to have a small talk with chef regarding the cooking about the food in those huge quantities.

After that when I stepped near to the stairs to retire for bed, I saw Colton walking near me with a smile and I smiled a little.

"So my Pal is really a Princess and now a Queen." He uttered.

"Maybe I was not believable enough for all of you to believe me as a princess." I retorted placing my hand at the crook of his elbow.

"That mistake lies in your Kingdom. If they were not so secretive then we would have known." He pointed out.

"How is your wound now?" I questioned him.

"It got healed. So is Alastair resting? I don't doubt that he is as he was not resting for the past many days from the time you left." He uttered making me frown.

"Why?" I questioned him not understanding his words.

"After you left, he went for riding and got to know the truth with which he left with a few warriors to fight against the pirates for three whole days. The day he returned, we again left for to reach here and then the fight." He explained.

"I am little tired. Can I talk to you tomorrow?" I requested him.

"Sure! I also need to rest otherwise Jacey will have my head." He uttered and I stared at him in confusion.

"I will tell you later." He added before walking away.

I climbed the stairs and stood before his chamber's door. I contemplated for a few moments and finally stepped inside to see him again lying on the floor but with no blanket.

I dimmed the lamp before placing the blanket over him and saw that the wounds are still in the process of healing. I knelt beside him staring at his face for a few seconds before walking away to my chamber.

I will not fall for it again when I know he will leave from here soon. He will miss the land and walk away and that will never change.

Why did you come here, Alastair? I questioned in my head and drifted off into sleep brushing away the lone tear which slipped even after my efforts.

i actually do not know how to get the differences go but i will know soon and until then the chaps maybe little boring i guess.... but i hope not...
