Mitch's P.O.V

"Will you two be alright for a little while?" I ask CJ and Amethyst.

"Yeah!" They yell in unison. I look over at Crystal and see that she has pain in her eyes.

"You ok?" I ask.

"Yeah. Just a headache." She says.

"Want to take something before we leave?" She nods. I get her a glass of water and get an Advil out of the bag.

"Here." I say. She takes the pill and drinks the water. "Ready?" She nods.

====== Time Skip ======

Crystal and I walk over towards a ravine. Crystal looks down the ravine and instantly turns pale.

"You ok?" I ask her. She doesn't say anything. "Crystal!" She snaps out of her trance and looks at me.

"Wha-what?" She asks shakily. She looks as if she's going to faint.

"Are you ok?" I ask her again.

"Ye-yeah I'm fine. I'm just terrified of heights." Crystal replies.

"Well, come on. I'll make sure we don't go anywhere near edges." I tell her. She nods. We start walking away from the ravine and back towards where the cabin is, when I notice that Crystal isn't beside me, nor do I hear her footsteps. I look back and see that she's on her hands and knees, gripping the grass beneath her hands. I also notice that she's gritting her teeth and her breathing is fast and shallow.

"Crystal, are you sure you're ok?" I ask worriedly as I sit on my knees in front of her.

"No. I feel weak, I feel extremely dizzy, my headache has worsened, I feel like I could get sick, and I feel like I could pass out. Plus looking down that ravine didn't help anything." She explains as she looks up at me. Her face looks extremely pale. Crystal then starts throwing up and I quickly get out a water bottle. 

"Here, drink this." I say and hand it to her as she finishes. She weakly takes the bottle from me and drinks some of it and uses the rest to clean off her hands.

"Do you think you can try to walk the rest of the way back to the cabin? It's not that far." She nods. I help her up and let her go. She swaying from side to side and collapses towards me. I catch her. She's out cold.

"I guess not." I mumble. I pick her up in a bridal style and her head rests on my shoulder. I head towards the cabin when a sudden thought enters my head. 'When she was pinched last night, I said that it looked like a needle was injected into her arm because of the hole. I bet that it was a needle with some mysterious liquid in it that was injected into her, causing her to be like this. I hope it wasn't poison.' I take a deep breath. I don't know what I'd do if it was. I can't call an ambulance because we're in the middle of nowhere with no service. I reach the cabin and kick the door because my hands are obviously full.

"CJ! Amethyst! Open the door!" I yell. The door clicks moments later and Amethyst appears in the doorway. She gasps.

"What happened to Mom?" She asks.

"I'll tell you in a minute. Open our bedroom door for me please." Amethyst opens our door and I set Crystal on the bed. 'Please wake up.'

I'm very proud of this chapter. This idea has been in my head for about a month and I needed to write it, so here it is! (That didn't make any sense but I hope you know what I mean)
