Chapter 10

Bakugo stepped off the field; he looked to see Nami standing there. "Stalking me, Star Girl?"

"Perhaps," shrugged Nami. "I think this is the first time I've seen you struggle." Bakugo narrowed his eyes at her. "It appears to be that even number one can use some training."

"You got a lot of nerve," growled Bakugo. "I hate it." The buzzer went off. "Kill him or get killed."

"Thanks," huffed Nami; she made her way onto the field; Shoto did as well from the other side. Nami scanned the area around her, she spotted Endeavor in the crowd; he was just as frightening as he appeared the first time when she was three. Her eyes scanned over to the general studies; there she saw Shinso looking back at her. The two nodded at each other; Nami looked back to see that Bakugo stood at the entrance as she had previously. Nami then looked forward at her approaching opponent.

"It's the tenth and final round of the first round!" announced Present Mic. "From the hero course, it is Class 1-A's constellation Nami Takeda versus her classmate the mighty cold of Class 1-A, Shoto Todoroki!" The crowd cheered as the two stood on opposite sides of the field.

***Flashback***

5-year-old Nami was hiding under a table with Shoto at an Endeavor Agency event. They were trading hero cards.

"Woah!" Shoto exclaimed holding up a rare All Might one. He looked at her. "Will you trade this one?"

"Depends on what you got coming to me in return," said Nami crossing her arms. Shoto looked at the cards in front of him; he scanned them carefully and then picked up one. "Ryukyu?"

"You got yourself a trade," Nami nodded taking the card from him, Shoto looked at the All Might one smiling a bit.

***Flashback over ***

'Why did just pop up of all things?' Nami asked herself.

"Why are you still wearing that thing?" asked Shoto narrowing his eyes at her. "This is a battle to advance."

"Yayorozu made them," answered Nami with a smile. "Don't want it to go to waste."

Midnight squealed happily. "So honorable!"

"If you say so," commented Present Mic.

Midnight swung her arm down. "Now, begin."

***Up in the stands***

"Freeze that bobblehead good, Todoroku!" cheered Mineta making a fist. "I wanna see some pokies through that cheer uniform!"

"You perv," grunted Jiro sticking a jack in his ear.

***Down below***

Todoroki began his big ice attack as Nami formed two stellar points; right as it reached her Nami disappeared and reappeared slamming her knee into Shoto as she had done earlier.

"INCREDIBLE!" Present Mic cheered as Shoto flew back; he used a mound of ice to prevent him from going out of bounds. "Takeda avoided Todoroki ice opener!" Shoto sat up slamming his foot down, sending out another ice attack; Nami quickly jumped out of the way avoiding it.

"An endurance match is that what you want?" asked Todoroki placing his hand on the ground sending more ice Nami's way. "You are going to regret this." Nami jumped up again holding out their arms, forming three stars, she moved her arms forward; the stars zoomed around the ice; placing themselves around Shoto.

"Just maybe," smiled Nami as she spread her arms back out. The stars latched on to Todoroki raising him up, Nami closed her hand; all the stars exploded launching him up.

"HOLY CRAP!" shouted Present Mic.

***In the stands***

"It is kind of scary that you can't tell what she's thinking," said Ashido putting a hand to her face.

"With that advantage; she a terrifying opponent," agreed Ojiro. Down the way, Shinos heard everything; a smile formed on his face as he watched Nami down below.

***Back on the field***

Out of the smoke cloud; Shoto emerged with blood spilling from his nose. "NAMI!" He placed his right hand on her face; he began to freeze her cheek. "Quit fooling around and get serious!"

"I could ask the same from you!" said Nami putting a hand on his chest; stellar energy pushed him away from her before he could freeze her even more.

"TODOROKI GOT CUT SHORT ON HIS ATTEMPT TO TURN TAKEDA INTO A POPSCICLE!" shouted Present Mic. "I wonder what a constellation flavor tastes like, don't you Eraser?"

"Not really," denied Aizawa. Nami used her stellar energy to form a rope around Shoto; then pulled dragging him near her.

"It seems you have not learned from the previous match," said Shoto sending ice her way.

"Sure I have," nodded Nami letting go of the rope; she lept up with one foot slamming a fist into his stomach. Shoto made a sound; he placed his hand on her left shoulder; freezing it.

'Cold!' squeaked Nami as she dropped to the ground; she stepped back to get away from Shoto; she tried to move her shoulder a bit. 'Shit.'

"UH OH!" shouted Present Mic. "Looks like Todoroki is not done with making his constellation popsicle!" Shoto reached forward; stellar energy formed at Nami's hand she swiped at him as he swiped at her.

"Uh oh," Nami sounded as they continued to go hand-to-hand. "You are freezing over." Ice was starting to take over Shoto's body; he was starting to shake.

"And Aries is starting to appear," said Shoto as he barely tapped her foreman.

CRACK!

The ice that Shoto formed on Nami's arm snapped off taking some skin with it, blood dripped from Nami's arm and Shoto's arm from the stellar swipes. Nami glanced down to see that her fingertips were starting to go.

"I can't help, but notice this fight has a personal feeling to it," commented Aizawa. "But they certainly are not fighting with kid gloves."

"Rivarliers are tricky!" laughed Present Mic. "You would know about that, right?"

"I don't know what you are talking about," disagreed Aizawa. Nami formed a stellar shield; Shoto froze it in an instant.

"Thanks for that!" chimed Nami slamming it into Shoto; he flew back again.

"Damnit!" exclaimed Shoto getting back to his feet. "Why can't I get a stupid read on you!"

'Shinso was right!' Nami giggled to herself as the two continued the fight; the icicles started to form around the stadium. People huddled together trying to stay warm.

"Takeda is crazy to keep smiling as she is," commented Jiro

"It's admirable," said Hagakura rubbing her arms.

"Is it how you thought it would go Midoriya?" Ojiro asked looking at the notebook.

"Sort of," answered Midoriya keeping his eyes peeled on the fight. "It is as others said; Takeda can be hard to read in a fight so it's hard to predict what she'll do next. Takeda seems to be adjusted to the fact that Todoroki can do long-range and precision attacks. Her carefree personality is giving Todoroki a challenge."

"A challenge indeed," nodded Tokoyami.

*Back on the field*

'This will probably be the last time I can use this move, I'm reaching my limit,' Nami thought to herself keeping her eyes glued on Shoto; he was sending a lot of ice to her on an uphill angle. "This is going longer than I would have liked." She landed on the ice hill.

"Same goes here," grunted Shoto as he started to run up the hill toward her. Nami formed a stellar snowboard; she started to go down the hill; launching stellar balls at Todoroki; he kept dodging them.

"Woah, her hand disappeared," someone commented; Nami glanced down to see her hand was gone and Aries was present.

"Don't get distracted!" warned Todoroki as he reached out a hand. Nami collided a ball of stellar energy with Todoroki's ice causing an explosion; both flew back a bit.

"WOAH!" the crowd cheered from the aftershock. Nami opened her arms creating three stars as Todoroki shot back toward her. Only two of the stars reached Todoroki when Nami closed the fist; two exploded by Todoroki and one by Nami.

"Ah!" Nami sounded.

"CAUGHT IN HER OWN ATTACK! CONSTELLATION TAKEDA CAUGHT IN HER OWN MOVE!" Present Mic shouted.

"Wait--" sounded Aizawa. The energy explosion collapsed causing Nami and Todoroki to draw close to each other at a high speed. Nami formed two stellar points as Todoroki got ready to attack; Nami disappeared just as Shoto placed a hand on her uniform...Nami did not appear on the field; instead, she found herself in the stands; she was up high and at the railing.

"Where did she go?!" asked Present Mic asked as the crowd quieted. "Takeda, do you copy?

"Damn," huffed Nami as she panted causing the people around her to jump.

"TAKEDA!" shouted what sounded like her classmates; Nami turned a bit and looked back to see blood spilling out of Mineta's and Denki's noses. Nami looked down to see that her top of completely gone, and everyone around her was completely red; she looked back at them.

"Can you turn around fully for me?" asked Mineta as he began to drool. Tsu's tongue whipped out smacking him hard. Nami looked back at the field at Shoto staring at the top in his hand in confusion; she looked over to see Bakugo's eyes were wide as he looked up at her.

"Takeda, do you copy?" Present Mic repeated.

"AFFIRMATIVE!" shouted Nami waving her hand.

"COVER YOURSELF!" shouted Hagakure as Sero wrapped tape around her upper half.

"In the stands!" Nami shouted waving both hands; the camera was quick to find her.

"WOAH HOW DID YOU END UP THERE!?" asked Present Mic.

"She wasn't paying attention," commented Aizawa. "Someone give her a jacket."

" Roger!" reported Yayorozu as she created one with her quirk. "Put this on Takeda."

"Roger," said Nami taking it.

"Takeda, is out of bounds with a vigorous way!" shouted Midnight.

"With that the first round is complete!" Present Mic announced. "We're taking a quick break! Then we're back with more matches!"

"Do you have any shame?" asked Tokoyami as Nami went and took her seat.

"Of course," answered Nami giving a thumbs up. "Though I didn't expect to lose to Todoroki on my own calculations like that."

"You put up a good fight," complimented Yayorozu leaning over. "You should be proud."

"Thanks!" chimed Nami looking at her.

"More importantly, shouldn't you go see Recovery Girl with those injuries?" asked Tsu.

Nami waved her hand. "I'll be okay, she probably going to have her hands full with Todoroki." Nami looked over to see the condition of Shoto. He was still bleeding from his nose and arm, he was bruised all over. Soon Bakugo was joining them; Nami's cheer top landed on her head.

"Oh, thanks, Gremlin!" cheered Nami slipping off the jacket.

"TAKEDA!" Iida cried putting his arms in front of her.

"Hey, Bakugo!" Sero greeted. "Playin' the villain, huh? Musta been tough."

"Even if it was just because of who you were up against, you did make a pretty convincing bad guy," Tsu added.

"Shut up, you idiots. Or else!" Bakugo threatened as Nami slipped the top back on.

"For real dude," Kaminari pointed at the empty seat next to him. "I don't know how you were able to aim a powerful blast at a frail girl like that. I couldn't help but hold back against Shiozaki."

"She completely overpowered you, Kaminari," Tsu corrected.

"Can't you just let me have this?" Kaminari pleaded.

"Hmph," Bakugo grunted as he sat down. "I definitely wouldn't call that girl frail." They were now watching an arm-wrestling match between Kirishima and Tetsutetsu.

"You have absolutely no shame," said Tokoyami holding the jacket over Nami as she proceeded to unwrap the tape from her body.

" Perhaps you may wanna keep that on," suggested Tsu. "Just in case someone gets an idea." Nami looked over to see Shoji holding back Mineta from even looking over.

"Perhaps," Nami agreed as she smoothed the tape back into place.

"Wa-hoo!" Present Mic cheered. "We're finally about to learn who the true winner is from the eighth match! Kirishima or Tetsutestu!" Nami could see that the cement block Cementoss made was breaking on both sides. "Whoever prevails in this arm-wrestling match will advance to the second round! Let's go!" Tetsutetsu's hand broke, and Kirishima let out a yell, slamming his opponent's hand down.

"Kirishima is the winner! " Midnight announced. "Add him to the bracket."

"Yeah!" Kirishima yelled.

"Kirishima earns a spot in the second round!" Present Mic announced.

"Ah, damn my metal deficiency!" Tetsutetsu growled. "Shoulda eaten more iron this morning!"

Kirishima held out his hand. "Hey, man. You put up a good fight."

"Ha!" Tetsutetsu grunted, he looked away and then shook hands.

"Oh! So chivalrous!" Midnight gushed.

"Now we've got a full roster for the next round of the tournament," Present Mic announced. "Let's get the party started now, ya dig? Keep your eyes peeled, folks!" The crowd cheered even more. Up next were Izuku and Todoroki.

"So the match hasn't started yet?" Urakaka asked.

"Ura!" Iida yelped as they looked over at her. Her eyes were super red and puffy.

"Oh, good," Urakaka grunted.

"Something horrible's happened to your eyes!" Iida pointed out. "You need to go see Recovery Girl."

"I already did," Urakaka said as she went to a seat. "This is from...something else." She put her wings back down.

"Ochaco," Nami breathed.

"Ah, of course!" Iida breathed. "If I were you, I'd be frustrated, too."

"It's not time to wallow," Tokoyami said. "Use this next fight as a source of encouragement."

"Will do," Urakaka nodded.

"You're so wise," Iida breathed. The battlefield corners blew fire.

"I can feel the anticipation in the stadium!" Present Mic exclaimed. "And that's because the second round's first match is gonna be epic!" They watched Todoroki and Izuku walk up to their spots. "It's the guy who won his last fight due to his opponent's mess up and won his first fight by a landslide and literally left half the audience frozen. The hero course's Shoto Todoroki! And he's the kid who almost walked out of his first matchup, but made a stunning comeback by showing off some impressive moves! Also from the hero course, Izuku Midoriya!"

"So here we are," Todoroki said as they stared each other down.

"And only one of us can win," Izuku said.

"Tokoyami, how do you think this match will go?" Iida asked.

"It depends on whether or not Midoriya is able to get close to him," Tokoyami answered.

"Yeah. That's the problem," Urakaka said. "How will Deku avoid the ice?"

'Hopefully, Midoriya can push Shoto to use his flames,' wished Nami. 'I know I was asking quite a lot of him to pick up where I failed.'

"Both of the heroes-in-training have been frontrunners in the Sports Festival! Present Mic shouted. "But which of these will advance to the next round?" The two got into a fighting position. Prepare for...Midoriya versus Todoroki!"

Everyone stared down at the two, the tensions between the two were intense. Iida and Urakaka were petting her wings in complete nervousness.

"Begin!" Present Mic shouted.

Todoroki immediately sent ice to Izuku. "Smash!" His middle finger lit up. As soon as he flicked, the ice broke into numerous pieces. It went right towards Todoroki, the crowd gasped at the cold air. Nami slipped the jacket seeing that Todoroki had an ice wall behind him.

"Whoa! So cold!"

"Feels like this wind is gonna freeze me solid!"

"Wow!" Present Mic yelped. "Midoriya managed to break Todoroki's insane opening move!"

Todoroki sent more ice toward Izuku. "Smash!"

"He countered again!" Present Mic shouted over the breaking ice.

"Let's continue," Todoroki declared, he took a step forward, sending more ice. Izuku countered it with another smash.

"Oh, no, crap!" Kirishima exclaimed as he rushed down the steps. "I'm missing it!"

"Kirishima!" Nami chimed looking at him.

"Hey, nice job making it to the second round, Kirishima," Kaminari complimented.

"Thanks, man," Kirishima smiled. "Looks like I take down Bakugo next."

"I'll kill you," Bakugo declared.

"Heh. Yeah, sure. In your dreams," Kirishima smiled more. "No, but seriously. It's crazy how you and Todoroki both have moves that blast the whole stadium!"

"Must be pretty nice," Kirishima continued as he threw his arms in the air.

"Plus, you don't have to pause between attacks," Sero continued.

"It's not as easy as you think, ya morons," Bakugo said calmly.

"Hm?" Kirishima asked as some of the class looked at him.

"He is surprisingly right," Nami nodded.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY PROBABLY, STAR GIRL?" demanded Bakugo growling at her. He focused back on the match. "If you overuse your muscles, you risk tearing them apart. If you sprint too much, you run out of breath," Bakugo explained, he looked at one of his hands. "Quirks are physical abilities, too. They can get worn out. You can't just use them nonstop."

"It makes sense when you put it that way," Kirishima admitted. "I wonder if that's how Midoriya thinks he's gonna beat Todoroki."

"You want an endurance match as well," Todoroki quickly gathered. "But I'll end this quickly."

"Smash!" Izuku shouted, countering Todoroki's ice again. Blood splattered from one of his fingers. Todoroki started to run towards Izuku spreading ice as we went.

"Todoroki withstood Midoriya's power and is now rushing his classmate!" Present Mic commented.

"No!" Izuku shouted as he flicked one of his fingers that he had broken in the fight with Shinso. Todoroki jumped over the attack Izuku got out of the way. Making Todoroki slam his fist into the ground. He looked up, immediately sending ice towards Izuku, trying to capture his foot. Izuku sent a punch into the ice, the aftershock was powerful. Todoroki was thrown back, he managed to stop himself from going outbounds with a blockage of ice, and Izuku let out a yell of pain.

"That was much more powerful than any of your previous attacks," Todoroki commented. He moved an ice block. "You're trying to keep me away. Smart."

"That kid's way better than the average pro," someone said.

"Guess that's what you can expect from the son of the number two hero," another said.

"What about that star girl, she was insane," someone said.

"That was an insane toe to toe match," another said.

"What's the matter?" Todoroki demanded. "Are you really that worn out from defending against my attacks?" Todoroki seemed a bit pleased, but Izuku was determined. "I'm sorry about this, but thanks for drawing it out. Look at him. He's furious I'm not using his power. With your hands like that, you can't fight me anymore, can you? Why don't we end this?" Todoroki shot out large amounts of ice.

"Whoa!" Present Mic exclaimed. "Todoroki continues his overwhelming attacks! Could this be his finishing move?"

"I am not done yet!" Izuku growled Todoroki gasped. Everyone gasped, Izuku broke a broken finger, if Todroki hadn't used his ice, he would've been out of bounds. He got back to his feet without taking his eyes off Midoriya. "You're trembling, Todoroki." The half-ice man gasped. "It's easy to forget that Quirks are physical abilities, and that means there's a limit to the cold your body can take, right? I get it. Usually, you'd make up for the drop in temperature by using the heat from your left side. But you refuse to do that. Listen. We're all giving it our all...to try and win. To make our dreams into a reality. To become number one! You think you can win with half your strength? Look at me Todoroki. You haven't managed to put a single scratch on me yet." Todoroki growled angrily. "So come me with all you've got!

"Midoriya," Todoroki growled. "What are you trying to do here? You want my fire? What, did my monster of a dad bribe you or something?" He took off. "Now I'm mad!" Todoroki lept towards Izuku, and the green-haired boy slammed his fist into Todoroki.

"A solid punch!" Present Mic shouted. Right before he flew back, Todoroki put ice on Izuku's arm. "That's the kind of action I like to see!" Izuku screamed in pain, more blood left his fingers.

"Whoa!" an audience gasped. "He landed a hit Todoroki!"

"Even though Midoriya's way more beat up at this point. I can't believe he went on the offensive there!" Todoroki sent out a slower ice attack Izuku dodged it. Todorki went close, Izuku looked ready to attack, and both got away from each other.

"Should I step in, Midnight?" Cementoss asked. "Midoriya knows that Recovery Girl will heal his wounds after the match, so he's being reckless and hurting himself. He's full of adrenaline. He probably doesn't know how much pain he's in. But those injuries are bad. They probably can't be healed in one go. Even if he wins, he might not be able to fight in his next match. He's sacrificing himself. At this rate, he might end up with permanent damage. Everyone watched intensely as the fight continued. Todorki sent more ice, and Izuku countered again.

"Smash!" Izuku shouted as he used he flicked his thumb off the inside of his cheek. He got sent flying as well as Todoroki.

"Why are you putting yourself through this?" Todoroki demanded.

"I wanna live up to people's expectations," Izuku answered as he ran towards Todoroki. "I wanna be able to smile while doing something good. I wanna be a pro! Whatever it takes to be a hero!" Izuku yelled. He slammed his hand into Todoroki, pushing him back. "That's why I'll give it my all just like you should be! There's no way I can know what you've gone through, or why you're even here. Your life has been so much different than mine, but right now...Stop screwing around! If you wanna reject your father, fine, but you don't have the right to be number one if you aren't going to use your full power."

"Shut up," Todoroki growled, his body rapidly being covered in ice as Izuku rushed towards him.

"That's why I'm going to win this!" Izuku shouted as he punched Todoroki again. "I'll surpass you!"

Todoroki shakily got back onto his feet. "I will reject you. I refuse to use my left side."

"It's yours!" Izuku shouted. "Your Quirk, not his!" Todoroki gasped. Todoroki's ice started to melt slowly the flames on his left side lit up, even at the scar on his eye.

"Is that?" Present Mic gasped.

"He's using his fire!" Urakaka gasped.

"It's warm," said Nami taking the jacket off again.

"Incredible," Iida breathed.

"You're helping your opponent," Todoroki said. "You fool. Even though you wanna win this battle. Now which one of us is screwing around? I want it, too. I'll be a hero!"

"This is the first time, I've ever seen him smile," Eva said squinted her eyes.

"He should do it more," Urakaka said.

"Yes, SHOTO!" Endeavor shouted from the stands.

"Huh?" Present mic asked.

"Have you finally accepted your purpose?" Endeavor asked as he made his way down the stairs. "That's it. Very good. This is the dawn of a new era for us. With my blood in your veins, you'll surpass me. You will live up to the reason I created you!"

"Endeavor shouts words of...encouragement?" Present Mic asked. "What a doting father."

"Amazing," Izuku smiled.

"Why are you smiling?" Todoroki asked. "With those injuries...in this hopeless situation...You must be crazy."

Izuku grunted as he stopped smiling. "Takeda never stopped smiling during her match with you."

"Don't blame me for what happens next," Todoroki said. He stepped down, ice spread from his foot, as the fire blazed out of his left side, his hair flew up. Izuku fired up his power in his leg.

"That's it, Midnight," Cementoss drew the line as he put his hands down. "One of them could be killed!"

"His body won't hold up!" Midnight said as she pulled her sleeve, letting out her quirk. Todoroki shot toward a large amount of ice, as Izuku flew toward him. Todoroki then shot forward his fire.

"I see now, Midoriya," Todoroki commented. "Thank you. Before they reached each other, Cementos rose up concrete, but that didn't stop either of them from going through and colliding. The whole place lit up, there was a huge explosion.

"Holy crap balls!" Mineta shouted as Shoji held him from flying.

"This is crazy!" Kaminari shouted.

"What's happening down there?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"Having a great power doesn't mean you'll be a good hero. But these two are amazing," Cementoss commented.

"What happened just now?" Present Mic asked. "What the heck is up with your students?"

"The air around the ring had been thoroughly cooled down, and then rapidly expanded when heated up," Aizawa explained.

"Wait, that's what caused the explosion?" Present Mic asked. "How hot did that fire get? Jeez, I can't see a thing!" The smoke started to clear. "Is that match still going on, or what, huh?" Everyone gasped to see Izuku leaning up against the wall. He slowly slipped down the wall, before falling onto the ground.

"There," Midnight breathed. "Midoriya is...Out of bounds." Todoroki stood in the ring, half of his uniform burned off from the waist up he was staring at Izuku. "Todoroki wins!" The crowd cheered wildly, Midoriya was rushed to the recovery room, and Nami got to her feet.

"Please go find more clothes to put on," advised Yayorozu.

"I prefer it if you came back with less," Mineta said.

"You are all acting like I murdered someone," said Nami making her way up the stairs.
If anything it was an unexpected confidence boost." Nami made her way down the hall; she saw Shinso standing at the bottom.

"When I said keep them guessing, I think you would strip," teased Shinso.

"Oh, haha," Nami said putting her hands on her hips. "My class is asking like I murdered someone! And it's not like everyone saw everything!" Shinso started laughing, he put a hand on her head. "Hitoshi."

"You need more training on controlling your quirk," said Shinso. "The only reason you ended up in the stands was due to lack of control and awareness."

"You are right," Nami nodded. "There is still so much to learn....your fight was amazing Hitoshi! I was cheering for you the whole time!"

"I lost," Shinso frowned. "I heard those words in the stands coming from some pros, but it does not change the fact I lost the first round."

"We both lost the first round," Nami corrected. "In no time you will be switched over to hero course." She gave a thumbs up. "I just know it."

"It's going to be just me after your mom murders you for stripping on TV," said Shinso with a smile.

"Pick pretty flowers for my grave," requested Nami putting her hands together. "In fact rob the place." Shinso laughed even more.

"I'm heading back up," said Shinso walking away. "See you in a bit."

"See ya!" chimed Nami with a smile. She skipped on down the hall, she kicked the door open to the waiting room. Inside Shoto was finding a new shirt and jacket to put on.

"Shoto!" Nami shouted punching him in the stomach.

"OW! What was that for?" demanded Shoto as he was bent over.

"You held back on me!" exclaimed Nami. "I was giving it my all while you were holding back!"

Shoto stood up rubbing his stomach. "It makes me sick the way he smiled when I used it."

"I know you hate him, but it is as Midoriya said, it is your quirk," said Nami; she was still making a fist. Shoto pulled out a white tank top; he stared at it.

"At that moment, I forgot all about the old man," said Shoto looking at her. "I felt free of his hold."

Nami crossed her arms, lowering her head. "Sorry, for punching you."

"Sorry for stripping you," apologized Shoto holding the tank top out to her. "I'll trade the tank top for the cheer top."

Nami smiled taking the top. "You know, just before our fight I had a flashback to when we were hude under those tables at your dad's agency conventions and trade hero cards." Shoto looked at her.

"I don't remember much from those," Shoto frowned looking away. "I am sorry."

"I think you should use your flames more often," said Nami.

"I just think back to my mother," said Shoto. "I don't want my left side to continue to be unbearable."

"Saying that makes it sound like you don't even like your ownself," said Nami turning her back to Shoto. She quickly removed the cheer top; slipping on the white tank top. "You should work on self-love more than control over your fire quirk."

"Nami," said Shoto as he slipped on the cheer top. "After this...can you help me connect with others?" Nami looked back at him. "In the same manner you do."

"Of course," smiled Nami.

"Nami?" asked Shoto.

"Hm?" asked Nami as they faced each other.

"You should work on control over your quirk," advised Shoto. "You are stronger, just in need of training."

"Good thing we are students," said Nami. "Good luck in your next match."

"Thanks," nodded Shoto; Nami then skipped on out of the room. She skipped down the hall to find Iida, Urakaka, Tsu, and Mineta.

"We are on our way to see Midoriya," said Tsu.

"Come join us, Takeda," said Urakaka.

"Okay!" chimed Nami. In no time they reached the recovery room, and they bust the door open.

"Deku!" Urakaka shouted as the door opened with other classmates.

"Midoriya!" Iida, Tsu, Takeda, and Mineta shouted at the same time.

"You scared the crap out of me," All Might said as blood dripped out of his mouth.

"Are you okay?" Urakaka asked as they entered the room. She turned to a tall blonde man. "Oh. It's nice to meet you, sir."

"Uh, yeah," the man sweated.

"He's in no state for visitors," Recovery Girl said.

"Hey, you guys," Izuku greeted, he managed to open his eyes. "Shouldn't you be watching the matches?"

"The stage is far too damaged," Nami answered.

"They're taking a quick break to repair it now," added Iida as he did robotic arm movements.

"That match was the scariest thing I've ever seen in my life, Midoriya," Mineta trembled. "What pro's gonna want a sidekick that hurts himself?"

"Now you're just rubbing salt in his wounds," Tsu scolded, she stuck her tongue in his ear. "Probably not a good time."

"Hey, I'm just speakin' the truth!" Mineta argued.

"You're much too noisy," Recovery Girl scolded. "I know you're worried, but I've got to focus on surgery now."

"Surgery!" Urakaka, Iida, Mineta, and Tsu erupted at the same time.

"Go, get out of here," Recovery Girl ordered.

"Surgery's a big deal, isn't it?" Mineta asked.

"Will his wounds be healed?" Iida asked.

"Don't worry, just leave me to it," Recovery Girl. With that, they all left the room and joined their classmates in the stands.
