The night had quickly approached. Everyone had packed up and started to head out. Kim and Pru happily headed downstairs into the lobby to greet Trudy Platt. The desk Sargent was wrapping up her own work and putting things away.

"Hey, Birthday Girl. You ready?" Kim asked with some peppiness.

"Remember deescalation training tomorrow. Mandatory." Trudy informed the two girls.

"Oh, it's my dream Saturday. Thank you." Kim sarcastically thanked while Pru laughed.

"It's not all about you, Burgess. We all gotta be there." Trudy said.

"We wouldn't miss it for the world. Kim loves early Saturday's with our fellow police family." Pru joked as Kim playfully pushed her.

"Let's blow this joint." Trudy let out, ready to leave the district.

"Ladies, it's Friday night. Lets get to Molly's and make some bad decisions." Adam announced as him and Kevin descended from the stairs. Kim laughed at the man as he approached Pru from behind, spinning her around. The girl squealed as she went in a circle then was placed back down on her feet. The blonde shoved him and sent a playful glare his way.

"Um, I think we're right behind you." Kim took a guess as she looked at Trudy.

"Speaking of bad decisions, Birthday Girl. Are you ready for these annual Malort shots?" Kev challenged Trudy.

"That's a negative. It's a lowkey event this year. Besides, Randall has the flu, gonna make it an early night." Trudy told them.

"That's alright. I'll drink for you." Pru smiled as Kim laughed.

"Do you think you can handle all of that?" Kev challenged Pru next as she scoffed.

"Of course I can. What kind of weak baby do you think I am?" Pru looked offended at Atwater who smiled then looked down at his phone.

"No problem with that then. I gotta make a quick run to Bucktown." Kevin informed them.

"Yeah? You want me to come with?" Adam asked his partner.

"I'll meet you at Molly's." Kev said as he headed out the door.

"So I heard Otis convinced Hermann to put a karaoke machine in at Molly's." Kim brought up.

"We're partying tonight. Maybe we can even get the speakers loud too. I'll charm Hermann if I have to." Pru cheered as Adam high-fived her.

"Bad idea." Trudy commented.

A crowd was dancing and drinking at Molly's as Trudy sang karaoke on stage. Everyone was all smiles for the most part. Pru swayed around with a beer in hand as she grooved to the music. Pru, Natalie and April stood there while they made small talk. Bouncing around to the music Trudy was singing to.

"So you're on the market now. Have you been looking for anyone?" April brought up to Pru who shrugged.

"I haven't really thought about looking. It just hasn't been my top priority." Pru said.

"I mean, it's always nice to start somewhere though." April pointed out.

"When it happens it happens. Sometimes it's better not to rush. Who knows, maybe you already met the person but it's not the right time." Natalie said and Pru nodded.

Hailey, Jay, and Antonio sat at a table in the middle of the crowd. Kim and Adam by the bar talking not too far from them. Hailey sat there going through the karaoke book. Browsing through the song options.

"Antonio. You're next. How about some Sinatra?" Hailey questioned the man who sat on her left.

"That's grandpa music. I'll find something." Antonio said as he took the book from Hailey to start looking through the song selections.

"Seriously?" Hailey asked, shocked at his answer and slightly offended.

"Yeah."

"You understand the majesty of the chairman of the board right?" Hailey asked Hay who had his attention on something else. His eyes locked on the blonde haired girl dancing with Natalie and April. Hailey hit him from behind to get his attention. The girl gave him a look, knowing exactly who had him distracted.

"Jay, back to reality." Hailey snapped her fingers. He turned towards them and shrugged.

"I wouldn't mind hearing a little 'Summer Wind'." Jay played off as Hailey gave him a skeptical look. Everyone cheered as Trudy finished her little performance.

After Antonio finished his song, Pru popped up onto the stage. She finished her beer and was ready to let loose more. The girl had requested with Hermann to play a song which was going to be on next. Everyone hollered at the girl on the stage. She pulled a reluctant Natalie and April up then ushered for Kim and Hailey. Her older sister shook her head 'no' as Kim headed up to the stage. When 'Wannabe' by the Spicegirls began to play the women were so energetic. Dancing as the chorus came on. Jay couldn't take his eyes off the giggling blonde girl who seemed to be having the time of her life.

"What's up with you? You're like a party pooper." Antonio told Hailey who scoffed.

"I'm not a party pooper." She snapped as Antonio gave her a challenging look.

"Don't worry, Upton. We get that you're not that kind of outgoing person." Adam added as Hailey looked between the two men. The girl scoffed then stood up from her spot and headed onto the stage to join the dancing girls. The two males cheered at seeing the girl give into their peer pressure. Jay chuckled at the girls on the stage as he looked at all of them. Being so happy and so free in the moment. No cares in the world as they danced on that stage. His eyes falling back on Pru as he stared at the girl with so much light in her eyes. A smile on her face that made his heart swell. In that moment he knew what he had to do. He had to make things right between them. He just hoped he wouldn't mess it up.
