Trigger warnings: mention of spider venom, mentions of panic attack, spider bites, foreshadowing

It's been a few hours and no one has found Remus, Roman, or Speedy yet. Ruby was getting anxious, antsy, "Where could they be?!"

"Don't worry! We'll find them!" Thomas reassured. They were split into teams. Patton and Logan, Remy and Emile, Ruby and Thomas, and Janus was left to look alone. Thomas and Ruby were left in the living room incase any of them came back. Thomas sat on the couch while Ruby kept pacing around the room. "We should be out there looking for them! Looking for her!" Ruby said.

"You don't know how to sink down yet, it's safer if we stay here. That way you don't get lost and then when we find Speedy, we don't end up in this situation."

Ruby sighed and sat down. All of a sudden, Janus popped up, "We found them!" Janus ran over and put both hands on Thomas and Ruby's shoulders. With that, all three of them sank down.

When the three rose up, Ruby scanned the scene. Remus sat lying on the bed, tossing and turning. Roman sat next to him trying to calm him down. Logan was asking questions and talking. Dr. Picani was dabbing a damp towel onto Remus' forehead. Remy was sitting with Patton and talking to Logan. Ruby spotted Speedy sitting in the corner, crying. Ruby walked over to Speedy and sat down a little bit away.

"Hey Speedy. Are you okay?"

Speedy didn't respond. She just curled up further into her ball and cried harder. She muttered "I'm sorry" over and over and over again.

Thomas looked at the scene in front of him and then turned to Logan, "What happened?"

Logan sighed, "From what I can gather, when sinking down, Speedy bit Remus on his arm and she injected some sort of poison. Luckily we are figments of imagination so the poison can't kill him, but it will hurt. The best thing we could do is knock him out."

"Did Virge ever have poison like this?" Thomas whispered to Janus.

"Yup. Black widow venom," Janus whispered back.

"Uh question. If Speedy over there is on the brink of a panic attack, why do I only feel really anxious, not also on the virge of a panic attack?" Thomas asked.

"It works the same way with the Creativity twins. In order for you to have writers or artists block, both twins need to have it. With those two, both of them need to have a panic attack at the same time," Logan informed.

     "So do we all agree on knocking Remus out so that he can get better?" Remy asked.

     The adults all nodded. Roman looked down at his brother and whispered an apology. He summoned a plain baseball bat and knocked Remus out. He stopped squirming and just calmed down immediately.

     "Oh god did I kill him?!" Roman exclaimed.

     "No. He's fine," Logan said, checking for a pulse.

     All the adults deflated and sat down wherever they were. Thomas crawled over to the two siblings that were still panicking, "Hey guys. How are you doing?"

     Ruby rubbed Speedy's back, "She'll fall asleep eventually. What happened?"

     "Long story short, she has venom. We're thinking you have some too."

     "What kind of venom?"

     "Like spider venom."

     "Oh... but isn't she a cat?"

     Thomas sent a panicky look towards Logan and Janus. What do I do?! Logan quickly summoned a venom collecting kit and walked over, "Ruby. Would it be okay if we checked to see if you had venom?"

     "How?"

     "Well we put you to sleep, basically wash your mouth with water, send electrical jolts through your body so that the venom with come out, and then collect it in vials."

     "No! No one is electric shocking me!"

     "Well, I tried."

     "Hey Thomas, Janus?" Ruby called.

     Janus walked over, "Yeah?"

     "Could you possibly teach me and Speedy how to sink down? You know, so this doesn't happen again?"

     "Uh sure bud. You would have to learn at some point," Thomas said. "Any more requests?"

     "Uh... teaching us how to summon things would be great. Ummm... if you could make Remus give Susan back... and we would like to meet this Virgil guy... He's in your videos and we want to meet him."

     Everyone froze for a minute. "Uh. We will start working on those. The Virgil dude may have to wait until Christmas though, he like to hibernate," Janus said with a small smile.

     He turned around and Roman gave him a 'what the fuck' look. Janus just shrugged.

     "Hey, it looks like Speedy fell asleep. Let's get you two back to your room," Thomas said. Thomas picked Speedy up and then grabbed Ruby's hand. All three of them sunk down into the siblings room.

     The adults left in the room all sighed. "Now that was close," Emile said.

     "We can't keep lying to them. They need to be told the truth," Janus said.

     "Not right now. They been here for less than a month. They need time to adjust to everyone," Logan said.

     "So what about their whole spider venom thing?" Roman asked.

     "I suppose it's a side effect of being Virgil. Returning to the dark and light side viewpoint, Ruby wears mostly dark colored clothing where as Speedy wears light colors. This would help to assume that Ruby is a dark side and Speedy is a light side. However, Speedy shows physical traits of being an animal like dark sides do where as Ruby doesn't. So once again, they are in the grey area. Just like how Virgil was," Logan trailed off at the end. It was still too soon.

     Logan got up and checked on Remus again, "He will be fine. Give him a day or two and he will be back to normal. I am going to go research more on the fusion method."

     Slowly one by one all the sides left the room except Roman and Remus.

     Little did they know that a shadow was lurking in the darkness. A shadow that quickly left the scene once everyone was gone.

That's foreboding.

Also the Hamilton movie film thing was amazing! 10/10 would recommend!
