*Shiv Pov*

"Finally!" I whispered, walking near my friends who settled near a tree talking to each other.

"How did it go?" Sailu asked when I walked near to them.

"Not bad! Maybe I didn't prepare that good, but it was ok." I replied, shrugging and she laughed before pinching my hand.

"Same for me too, and these stupids too wrote badly. But we are sure that your girlfriend will rock it." She said before side hugging me.

"She will sure do." I said, smiling at them.

"But what I don't get is how did she got the time to study, unlike you?" she asked frowning making me frown back.

"She has good memory power." I replied shrugging.

"Maybe she got more time somehow while you are working." She offered, but I shook my head before turning around to see Riddhi standing behind me.

"Riddhi!" I whispered, but she was not looking just at me but even at Sailu and our hands.

I forgot that we are still side hugging and stepped away before moving near her but she just stood still.

"How did the exam go?" I asked, holding her hand.

"Fine!" she replied and turned back when someone called her.

"Thanks for explaining that doubt yesterday, Riddhi. I am lucky that it came today for exam." Some girl said smiling at her.

"It was nothing. You wanted to learn and I explained." Riddhi said shrugging and waved when that girl started walking away.

"You could have helped us too, right." Charlie asked when she turned towards us.

"She wanted to learn and I explained to her." She repeated before walking away, making me frown.

"Opps! Someone is really angry. Anyway, we are having a party and you need to be there. You missed many, but tomorrow onwards there are holidays. I will not accept a no." Sailu said, tugging my hand with a pouting face.

"But..." I started to say and she immediately kept a pleading face.

"Fine! I will ask Riddhi and we both will be there, but just message me the address." I said smiling to which she smiled lightly.

"Hey!" I said walking inside the flat to see some sounds coming from the kitchen.

"Why are you doing that work? Today is my turn, right? You are already doing Sunday extra for being it odd." I asked, smiling before moving her hair properly.

"Well, I don't want to make you do all the work and not give you time to study right?" she asked back with an anger tone.

"She always talks such stupid stuff. We shouldn't take any care of it." I said smiling, but she threw a glare at me before throwing the plate into the sink.

"So, I have to bear for another one and half year? I am fed up with her taunts for the past six months and now you are hearing her words and behaving like it doesn't matter, and they are true." She said and I can see tears forming in her eyes.

"I am just leaving them to not have any problems. They are just jovial type and takes digs at everyone." I said shaking my head.

"I am not everyone." She said, rubbing her forehead.

"Fine! I will talk to them and make them stop all these. Now, will you come with me for party. We don't have any work today too. Our moods will get better." I said, pleading her, to which she frowned but slowly nodded.

"Come on!" I said, smiling and dragged her to our room.

"You get ready while I finish my dishes." I mumbled and started moving away, but she held my hand making me stop.

"I love you!" she whispered, staring at my face.

"I love you too!" I whispered back before leaving the room.

"There are so many people." She whispered from beside me before holding my hand tightly.

"This is your first party, right? You will get used to these soon." I said, assuring her and rang the bell.

"Hi! Oh, you came." Sailu said, opening the moment.

"Sailu!" I mumbled frowning at her and walked inside before moving towards the kitchen where there seemed to be less people.

"Give her a coke, Charlie." I said to him before walking back near to the door.

"What was that, Sailu? Why are you always taking dig at her?" I asked frowning at her.

"But what did I said? She never attended these and I stated my shock." She said frowning at me.

"And what do you mean my I am taking dig at her? We always talk before you right and you never said a word." She added and I frowned.

"She is feeling sad with your words. So, leave her aside from these talks." I said pleading her.

"Ok! I will accept only if you dance with me." She said shrugging with a smirk.

"But..." I mumbled and turned back to see Riddhi drinking some coke.

"Come on! She will be fine and Sam and Charlie are present near her." Sailu said before dragging me near to the dance floor.

"Now, Dance!" she ordered grinning.

"Fine, Madam!" I said, bowing and took her into my arms to dance, but then the song changed into slow making us do a close one.

"You dance, fine. Did you practice with your girlfriend?" Sailu asked, moving her face near to my ear.

"No! We never danced until now." I replied and decided to dance with Riddhi soon.

"And you say you both are dating for past six years. What a weird type of relation. Are you both at least attracted to each other and everything is fine?" she asked circling her hand around my neck.

"Those are personal questions, Sailu." I said, sighing and she sighed.

"I am just looking out for you. What if you got attracted to someone else or she?" she asked before stepping back and gestured to my back.

I turned to see her dancing with Charlie, but within a second she turned towards us. I smiled and she returned it before continuing the dance.

"Did you see? They both are good looking for each other." Sailu said smiling.

"Now, don't dig at me." I said, glaring at her, to which she laughed and we continued to dance for another two songs.

I don't know why am I not feeling any discomfort which I felt at the beginning song. And it is quite fun to dance with her.

"Shall we go?" I heard a voice and turned to see Riddhi smiling at me.

"Already? But you both are just here at ten minutes back, right?" Sailu said protesting her.

"No! It's been an hour." Riddhi replied and we both moved back in shock.

"Wow, the time just passed with you." Sailu said smiling at me.

"Same for me! It was quite fun, but now I need to dance with my girlfriend." I said, smiling back before taking Riddhi into my arms.

"Aren't you tired?" She asked, smiling at me.

"Aren't you jealous?" I asked back, smirking, which I felt when she was dancing with Charlie.

"It was there, but she is just your friend and I am your girlfriend." She said smirking and I laughed before tugging her completely close to me.

"You are looking amazing in this top." I whispered, brushing my finger on her neck.

"Charlie too said the same." She whispered back, making me grown, but I bent my head before placing a small kiss on her neck.

"We are in a party." She mumbled gasping.

"Then shall we go home?" I asked, caressing her waist with her top raising a little.

"I..." she mumbled and I sighed understanding her.

"Let's drink something else and then leave." I said, smiling and she smiled back before we walked near the mugs.

"So, we are thinking about a tour. Will you both join us? It will be there after a week." Sam said when we walked near to them.

I got excited thinking about it but then felt a tug on my hand. I turned to see her looking at me with a little shake of her head.

"We are going for full time job, remember?" she said the words when I frowned at her.

"Right! Why don't we not do it?" I asked frowning.

"But what about the costs and everything. We need some more money for sure." She replied biting her lip.

"We will think about it within a week." I said and she nodded before we left the place.

"I know you want to go, but this is really needed, Shiv. We need money for some courses too." She said the moment we walked in our room.

"We will see." I said, smiling and got freshed up before drifting off into sleep.

"What? But you said you like going outdoors, right?" Sailu said, frowning when I told them that I will not be able to come with them.

"Yes! But I need to be here and do a full time job during this one month to get more money." I replied sighing.

"Or your girlfriend made you change your plan like she said on the party night." Sam mumbled to which Sailu immediately glared at me.

"Will you do something on your own or will you let her to choose? You are like some married man instead of a young man." Sailu said shaking her head.

"Sailu!" I said, glaring at her.

"What Sailu? Just sit down and think what type of decisions you are taking these days and the ones you took before. Forget it!" she mumbled and walked away along with Sam and Charlie.

"What happened?" Riddhi asked when I sat calmly in the living room.

"Nothing! Are we enjoying our lives?" I asked her frowning.

"Of course! We have friends and you have close friends. We enjoy each moment, but we even have to look after ourselves. So, we may lack in some things, but not living close off." She replied smiling.

"I so wish that my Dad lose his anger and accept our relation." I mumbled laying back thinking about the college reopening from tomorrow and saw the pictures of my friends tour already.

"Who is it at this time?" Riddhi mumbled when we heard a doorbell.

"Yes?" she asked, opening the door and gasped.

I glanced up only to blink my eyes a few times. I slowly stood up and walked near to the door.

"Mom! Dad!" I mumbled, looking at both of them.

"See, how tired is our son." Mom said before hugging me and walked inside.

"Will you stay anger like this with us just because we didn't accept a small thing?" she asked with tears in her eyes.

"You can do as per your wish and I will not say anything." Dad said moving near to me.

"We thought you will be home for the holidays but you didn't." Mom said and cried out.

"Mom! Dad!" I said happily before hugging them and glanced up to see Riddhi smiling at us with tears falling from her eyes.

"I love you!" she mouthed and I repeated it before hugging my parents happily.
