"How have you been, Shiv?" his Mom asked him once again and I even lost the count of hearing those words from the past ten minutes.

"I am completely fine, Mom. Here, meet Riddhi." he suddenly said dragging her hear to me making me feel more than nervous.

"Namasthey,Aunty!" I mumbled joining my hand to which she slowly nodded but glanced at her husband.

"I am forgiving you for the insult your father did to me." Uncle said in distant tone and I nodded thinking we don't even care about that incident.

"I will make some dinner." I mumbled walking inside the kitchen feeling completely awkward.

"Why don't you both freshen up?" I heard Shiv's voice and my eyes immediately widened.

Oh god! They will know clearly that we are living in a same room and I can so guess their reactions.

"In the same room?" I heard Aunty's voice making me close my eyes tightly.

I shook my head and finished cooking before bringing it to the dining area and waited for them to return.

"Dad!We could get only this single room house for the money we had even though they were available after one month we have joined." Shiv started explaining making me frown.

"Does he really think we can afford that big house which he saw on our way to college one day?" I mumbled to myself shaking my head.

"How is college going?" his Dad asked and they started talking to each other while Aunty joined them.

"Dinner?"I called for them and they all walked near to the food.

"Indian food?" Aunty said with a surprised tone.

"Yeah! I am not that much towards the other cuisines. So, she is trying to cook only Indian cuisine for my sake." Shiv replied smiling at me to which Aunty smiled back.

"I am so glad that you are taking care of him." Aunty said making me hold my chuckle.

"Mom!I am not a kid for her to take care but she cares for me." Shiv said rolling his eyes but I can see that he is very happy.

I have never seen him this happy from the past few months and I am more than glad that his parents accepted us and came here.

He seemed to be down from the past few weeks and mainly for missing the tour. I wish we could have gone but now we reached the mark of being able to pay the rent for the next few months.

"Why don't you take a big place?" his dad suddenly said when I started clearing the plates making me nearly drop them.

"We don't have sufficient money and need to work more which we are already doing to pay the rent." Shiv said and I sighed in relief.

"Don't worry about the money, Shiv. I will give you some now and then add to your account every month." Uncle said and I frowned thinking is it a good idea.

"Really, Dad? Thank you so much." Shiv said hugging him.

"But,you need to not think about marriage until the studies are completed. Even her parents need to accept right." Aunty said smiling at me.

"Mom!We are not at all thinking about marriage." Shiv replied simply and I stared at him in shock.

Not at all thinking? What is the meaning of that? I thought frowning and then shrugged off for now knowing that I can't disturb this good mood with my doubts.

"Why don't you both take some rest? Must be tired from all the travelling,right?" I asked before walking inside the room and started arranging everything before taking two extra pillows along with bedsheets.

"Where will you both sleep if we take the room?" I heard Aunty asking shiv.

"We will be in the living room." I replied for him and they both reluctantly nodded before walking inside the room while I started arranging the bedsheets and pillows.

"Oof!" I whispered when I suddenly felt myself being pressed to the ground.

"I am so happy. Do you know that?" Shiv asked holding my face.

"Of course I know, Shiv. Who else will know about that?" I asked smiling at him.

"Now, we need not even mind about money problem and work on our relation and studies and friends." he said kissing me but I moved my head a little away.

"Work on our relation?" I asked him frowning.

"Yes! We are not bale to spend some time with each other and go for some date. I mean can you believe that we never went for a date." he replied shaking his head.

"But we are going on a date everyday." I said smiling.

"How?"he asked raising his eyebrow.

"We work together and enjoy those special moments and we even have food together all the time. We watch anything on television together and sit idle together and even study together. What else is more special than these?" I replied smiling.

"Those are nice but I will plan some great date as soon as they leave." he said moving aside pulling me along with him before we both drifted off into sleep.

"What are you doing, Riddhi?" hearing the new voice I felt scared for a second but them realized that his parents are here.

"Preparing breakfast, Aunty. Shall I cook lunch too before leaving?" I asked her and she smiled.

But before she could open her mouth, Shiv entered the kitchen saying, "We are not going to anywhere. Why don't we take a few days leave?"

"Ok! But I will go and then you can spend freely with them." I replied smiling.

"Do you have to go?" he asked frowning.

"We have important topics being explained today itself as they warned. Any one of us need to hear that right? Otherwise we both will lose the notes." I replied and he nodded understanding my point.

"So, shall I prepare the lunch?" I asked them again.

"No!I will take them outside and give them a trip." he replied smiling and I nodded before moving towards my bag.

"You will be fine going there alone, right?" he asked when I moved near to the door.

"Of course!" I replied hugging him and walked outside.

"Where is he?" Sailu asked the moment I stepped inside the class.

"Shiv? He is staying at home as his parents are here." I replied to which she frowned.

"They accepted your relation?" Sam asked and I nodded smiling.

"They gave us a surprise yesterday night." I replied and started walking towards my place.

"Will he be here late?" Sailu asked stopping me.

"No! He wants to give those both a tour and will not come to college today at all." I replied and settled down in my place.

"What do you mean I don't have the job anymore?" I asked the head in ice cream parlor frowning.

"I asked the same to your boyfriend saying what does he mean he will not work here anymore along with you suddenly. All he said that you both don't need to work here anymore." he replied shaking his head.

"But, Sir! I will work here." I said pleading him along with thinking how did Shiv took this decision without asking me.

"No! If I do allow you then you may leave the job suddenly again. I think it is better if you leave." he said and then gestured the money he place on the bench for the single week of this month which Shiv rejected as per him.

"How was the day?" Shiv asked but I couldn't open my mouth to say a word.

"Why did you let our jobs go?" I asked him after settling on the couch and didn't saw a trace of his parents.

"What's the need for us to do them anymore? Dad asked me to do it and I did it." he replied shrugging.

"I needed the money, Shiv. I can't go on and on searching for a new job every time." I said feeling more than tired.

"Well, why do you need money by working? I will give you as much you want."he said opening his purse but I stopped him shaking my head.

"Where are you parents?" I asked him and at the same time they bothentered the flat smiling.

"Sailu and Sam along with Charlie joined our tour and Sailu took them to her house while I came here to receive you. She just dropped them I guess." Shiv replied smiling and I stood up walking towards the kitchen to bring them some water.

His friends joined them even after coming to college in the morning and leaving the campus suddenly? Is this how best friends are present?

Must be and I so wish I had one but I never felt like I need one. My Dad was an awesome best friend and then Shiv. I never needed anyone and maybe I really don't.

"Their house is really big." Uncle commented.

"I know! No matter how many times I go it just seems to amaze me every time." Shiv said nodding.

"When did you go there?" I asked him frowning because I have never been there.

"A few times she just dragged our friends there and some times on weekends we all met there itself for studying. I told you right."he replied before continuing his conversation with his parents.

"Riddhi!"I heard Aunty's voice and turned to see her standing near the dining area when I started placing the food.

"Yes, Aunty?" I asked her smiling.

"You really seems to be a good girl for him and I am really glad as he got you." she replied and I stunned into shock.

"Really?" I asked her hoping that she is not joking.

"Really! Just take care of each other and we are leaving by tomorrow." she said patting my cheek.

"Already?" we heard a voice and turned to see Uncle and Shiv standing behind us.

"Yes! I have work there and you visit us when you get holidays again."Uncle said smiling and sat down.

Visit India? And that too the town? How are my parents? Can I ask Uncle but will he get angry for bringing them into conversation?

"My parents..." I started asking and Aunty immediately glanced at me like she understood and nodded smiling.

I sighed in relief and thought when will they accept us like his parents. I just hope they do it soon because I am missing them more and more with each passing day.

"I am so happy that they accepted me." I mumbled when we dropped his parents early in the morning at the airport.

"Even I am! When do we shift?" he suddenly asked making me frown.

"Where?" I asked not understanding his question.

"To that big house! And I even want to buy a car too. The money Dad gave will be sufficient for both of them." He replied smiling.

"Do we have to? I mean we are happy with the present one and then the bus right?" I asked him frowning.

"No! I will not hear to a word you say regarding this. I mean I too want to throw some party to my friends and we can't do that there. We never even invited my friends. We need not think about the money too." he said shaking his head.

"Why don't we save?" I asked to which he fisted his hands on bus railing.

"I am a student and not a married man, Riddhi." That's all he said and I sat stunned in my seat.
