"Jade, sit at the best place cuz that's gonna be your place for the rest of the year."

Jade took a look around the place and chose the seat very next to the window so that if she ever got bored, she could stare out and wonder.
The seat next to hers was unoccupied. But that was only for five minutes because Jade was approached by a very cute nerdy boy.
"Can I sit here?"
"Yeah, whatever."

She wasn't used to being nice to anyone. The boy sat and looked around the class.
"So, what's your name?"
"Why would you care?"
"Well, I was just asking. Sorry if you didn't like that."
"It's Jade."
There was pause between the uncomfortable conversation. Being the once good girl, Jade started another conversation.
"What's yours?"
"Mike."
"So you're a nerd?"
"Yeah. And I guess you're a bad girl?"
"Yeah."
And the conversation ended. Jade was feeling a bit guilty that she had spoken nicely to someone that was a nerd. But there was something, a feeling, that made her talk to him. This feeling was totally new.

The day started and the first lesson was mathematics. The teacher looked quite strict. There was silence in the whole class. It was a really boring lesson cuz it was really hard understanding all the formulas.

Finally it was lunch break and Jade approached the cafeteria with Kat.
"So, did you enjoy your first day at this awesome school."
"Oh awesome day at an awesome school." Her voice was full of sarcasm.
"Can't you be serious for once?"

"Hey beautiful."
It was James, the bad boy and the player.
"Hey."
"Would you like to join me for lunch?"
Jade looked at Kat, who nodded. "Sure, I'd love to."
James offered Jade his hand, who took it rather boastfully.
They circled around the cafeteria until they found a nice corner with an empty table. James pulled out a chair for Jade.
"You're really nice for a player."
"I'm not always like this. It's just that you are so beautiful."
"I'm sure you're just being a bad boy right now?"
"No, I really mean it. I mean, look at you. You are so pretty."
"Shut up, James." Jade rolled her eyes and pretended to be annoyed.
"Ok, as you wish."
"Thank you."
"Should I get you something to eat?"
"Yeah sure. I'd like some pizza with extra cheese."
James got up. "Ok."
"Oh and a coke too, please."
"Whatever you say."
He went away and Jade started to observe her surroundings. Suddenly, her eyes stopped at Mike, who was sitting alone in a corner eating EXACTLY what Jade had asked James to bring for her. She ignored the unknown feeling in her stomach.
"There you go, babe."
James put the food on the table.
"Babe?"
"Why? Don't you like it?"
"It's just that I didn't expect you to get that frank with me."
"I'm happy that I went further from your expectations."
"Very funny."
Jade started eating. She was having a good time with James, which was because they were both huge flirts.
Returning to their class, Jade said: "I really enjoyed your company."
"You're gonna enjoy it even more at night."
Jade looked up at him and he winked.
"Shut up."
