My eyes shot open when I heard the sound of an air horn. "GET UP SOLDIERS!" The Lieutenant screamed while kicking everyone's tents. I groaned in discomfort and got up.

Everyone assembled in an alphabetical line and the Lieutenant did a roll call. "June, Stoma..." The Lieutenant stopped when someone pointed to me "and who is she?" The man said coldly while walking towards me. "She's a new recruit, Commander Rain," Lieutenant said while flashing me a smile. "I'm sorry "Lieutenant" but who is going to train her?" He quoted with his fingers as the word Lieutenant escaped his crusted and chapped lips. "As a matter of fact, you will be training her Commander Rain," The Lieutenant smiled and I heard a few snickers from the others, "that shit isn't funny," he huffed while spinning on his heels and storming off to the practicing area. "You coming or not, Noobie?" Rain said while looking back at me. "I uh yes," I said while looking at the Lieutenant, who was shooting me a wink and a thumbs up.

I jogged over to Rain and stopped to catch my breath, "are you fucking kidding me?!" Rain cursed out loud - causing everyone to look in our direction - "I-I'm Sorry Commander have I done something w-wrong?" I said while panting and he grabbed the collar of my shirt. "Listen, bitch, there are people dying out there. If you think this shit is just some fucking game then I suggest you quit right fucking now!" He hissed while shoving me to the dirt. "I-I'm sorry Commander," I said while standing back on my feet and straightening myself. "Now run 35 laps around the camp!" He commanded while taking a seat on a green box and watching me. "Uh?" I said hesitantly and a whistle was blown "I said run, Soldier!" He screamed, making me jump and begin to run.

I ran four laps but stopped when I felt like my lungs were being ripped out, "did I say stop, Soldier!?" The Commander screamed through a megaphone. "N-no, sir!!" I screamed back while gathering myself and preparing to run another lap. I was almost halfway done until I tripped over a rock that was deep in the ground; I heard a deep chuckle from the Commander through the megaphone and I shot him a glare. "Stop focusing on me and focus on completing the laps," he chuckled again before putting down the megaphone.

After completing my laps I reported to my Commander and trotted to my tent. "I'm so tired, that stupid Commander,"  I cursed under my breath. " That's not a way to talk about your superior if he heard that you would be hanging from a tree," a familiar voice said from my right and I turned to see an oddly familiar blue rabbit. "Ao!" I screamed while picking him up, "did you miss me?" Ao said jokingly as he changed into his human form. "Why are you here?" I said slightly nervous- that something might have happened to Celest and Ace - "of course I came to see you, Princess," he said while watching me with glee. "I'm happy that you came but I have to get to bed," I said while yawning loudly "Understood," Ao said before changing into his rabbit form and snuggling into a corner of a tent.

I was awakened once again by the sound of an air horn and woke up. "Get up, Noobie!" The Commander screamed while shaking my tent violently. "I'm up! I'm up!" I screamed while crawling out. "About damn time!" He screamed through a megaphone, "what do you mean, I kept you waiting for like 30 seconds," I mumbled, "what was that soldier?" He said while cocking an eyebrow at me. "Nothing, Sir," I saluted to the Commander. "Good now go and give me another 35 laps!" He screamed while smirking. "Yes, Sir!" I said and began to run, I completed my laps when evening hit and reported to the Commander once again, "good job, Noobie you complete the laps in 9 hours," he said and I sighed "hey it's better than when you started, it took you 12 hours to complete it the first time," he said cheerfully and I cheered up a bit and left. When I arrived at my tent I said hello to Ao and when straight to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of an air horn - once again - and bolted out of my tent. "Ou someone is on time," The Commander said smoothly while spectating my appearance. "Fix your appearance, soldier! You may have been quick but you're a mess!" The Commander screamed and I quickly adjusted myself. "Good now let's proceed with our training 45 laps," the Commander said while looking at me - expecting me to whine and complain - "sir, yes sir!" I screamed before running off. I completed my laps but unlike the first or the second time I wasn't feeling exhausted after the first two laps, "my stamina is increasing and my body is becoming more....fit," I mumbled to myself before walking to the Commander and giving my report. "Good job, soldier," he said before I left the tent. Ahh, I sighed as I laid down in my tent. "Another day of training?" Ao said while looking at me with his nose twitching and I nodded before yawning. I received a slight chuckle from Ao then he spoke "get some sleep, you're going to need it tomorrow," Ao said before going into his little corner. ' hmm, I wonder what he means? ' I thought before dozing off.

"WAKE UP, SOLIDER!" Commander screamed and I woke up, fixed my appearance, and made my way swiftly out of my tent. "Mm nice job, soldier," the Commander said while inspecting my appearance like before, "now I need you to ru-" I cut him off "55 laps sir!" I said while smirking at him and he smiled back before giving me the green light. My ' training ' continued for 2 months, all I did was run; and I wouldn't really call that training. "Get up, soldier!" Commander screamed and I got up and met him outside of the tent. "Today we're doing combat training," he said enthusiastically and I looked at him. "Commander, uh who am I going to be training with?" I asked a bit sheepishly. "Well I sure ain't going to be in charge of you anymore," he said while halting, "what do you mean?" I said while also halting. "Well everyone uses a different weapon so your trainer is based on your weapon," he said while eyeing the soldiers that were training "and what's your weapon?" I question "well, of course, I use my bare hands" he laughed proudly and I rolled my eyes before walking over to a table of weapons and picking up a pair of nightsticks with handles on the sides. Woah I thought to myself before a heard female voice from behind me, "I'd be careful with those" she said while eyeing the weapons in my hand, "because the-" a loud metal sound was head and I stared at the nightsticks in shock, "WTF" I mumbled "as I was saying....there are blades in them," she finished. The nightsticks looked like knives, with blades sticking out of the tip of the nightstick. "Your new right, have you picked your weapon? And where is your Commander?" She questioned and I answered "I'm picking these and as for my Commander I don't know," I said while examining the nightsticks. "Well I am the master of those nightsticks, I'm Soma," the girl said while offering a hand. I looked into her yellow orbs and shook her hand "I'm Nika," I said while releasing my hand. "It's nice to meet you, Nika...now let's get some training down," Soma said while walking off.
