We moved deeper into the lab cylindrical tanks containing bodies human, inhuman, and everything in between lined the walls a gory display of Dr. Cunning's cruelty and experiments. It was a sterile place white hospital walls and tiles, the lights overhead shining harsh white light on us as we passed underneath them. The place smelled like the medical sterility of a hospital but mixed in with that was the ever present scent of blood that seemed to linger like an old ghost following us through each winding corridor. Anytime we came across a room when opened we were met by a surgery room sometime clean but more often than not a gruesome sight that assaulted us with rot and carnage.

We finally reach a pair of double doors each with a window looking in, Danny and I snuck close and took a peek inside. It was a lab, I would wager the same one Jasper had been kept in, across the room standing at a desk working on something was Dr. Cunning. Beside him sitting on a stool was a black haired boy no older than four chattering like a monkey at the silent doctor who only nodded as answer. With a quick look and nod to both of us Danny kicked the double doors open with a loud crash startling the boy from his seat and drawing Dr. Cunning's attention.

"You didn't have to be so loud, you could have just opened the doors like civilized people rather than barbaric yankees." Dr. Cunning sighed.

"Your not mommy? Dad where's mommy?" The child asked confused as he hid behind Dr. Cunning's leg.

"Elias stay out of the way while the adults talk." Dr. Cunning told the boy firmly.

"But..." Elias started only to go quiet with a cold look from Dr. Cunning that at sent him running past us and out the doors we had just come through.

"Now that the brat is out of the way, why are you here?" Dr. Cunning asked.

"You have a kid? What twisted woman would have your kid?" Danny asked flabbergasted a sentiment I shared.

"Don't speak ill of your sister who I assume you killed." Dr. Cunning replied boredly at which Danny flinched.

"You don't seem to particularly care that she's dead." Rameses stated.

"Not particularly she was convenient but it would seem her use has run out. Eh I'll find another one eventually." Dr. Cunning replied nonchalantly checking the needles of his gauntlets.

"You're going to die today I don't care if you've been alive since Jack the Ripper was in diapers. I'm going to kill you." Danny growled angrily.

"You think I'm that young. I guess I should be flattered but I think it's a bit sad that your mind lacks imagination." Dr. Cunning chuckled as if Danny was a yapping puppy.

"How the hell are you even still alive in the first place you smell human?" Rameses asked more to himself than anything else confirming he wasn't a creature but who knew what tricks a warlock had.

"Hmm, you know what I will tell you. I haven't had a good chance to monologue about my brilliance since queen Elizabeth reigned ah how the years do fly and it isn't like you lot are going to live to tell anyone anyways." Dr. Cunning mused to himself.

"You see every fifty years or so I'll have a kid and wait for them to grow which can be so annoying they never stop talking but it doesn't really matter I only have to tolerate them until they're fifteen. Once that happens I take their lifeforce and magic I don't even have to deal with cleanup since they turn to dust in the process. I also don't draw attention since unlike that Williams girl, my kids are unknown to the outside world easier to keep them docile that way." Dr. Cunning mused about his despicable deeds.

"You plan to do that to that little boy, Cas would never let you do that!" Danny yelled.

"Cassandra knew about it, she just didn't care." Dr. Cunning replied coldly.

"Enough we're here for Jasper, where is he?!" Rameses roared.

"Impudent boy, you don't want to see your little brother right trust me. You wouldn't survive it let alone those two." Dr. Cunning replied smugly.

"If you're not going to tell then I guess we'll just have to kill you which is already on the list anyways and find him ourselves." Danny retorted.

"Fine let's get this over with I would like to get back to my research." Dr. Cunning said stepping away from the desk he had been leaning on. Rameses circled cautiously to the left while Danny went right, I walked forward pulling out my bag of marbles as Seth cautioned to wait for an opening. Dr. Cunning made the first move and like a shot had rung out the fight began.

Dr. Cunning turned to Danny first but Danny was ready throwing the gun towards Dr. Cunning who ended up with a python thrown at his face. Seems that he wasn't much of a snake charmer though as it bit his face much to Dr. Cunnings anger as he muttered a few words and the snake began to sizzle and melt as if dipped in acid. Rameses leapt onto Dr. Cunning while he was distracted clamping his jaws onto Dr. Cunnings neck and shoulder pushing forward with all his weight to force Dr. Cunning down, but he wasn't having any of it wrestling to stay upright with a strength no man should have.

I pushed magic through my bond with Rameses but this time I focused on electricity, Seth corrected the way the magic was moving just slightly before flooding Rameses with magic. The result was shocking to say the least as Rameses spots and stripes lit up in blue light building with a buzzing noise into a crescendo before electricity was unleashed on Dr. Cunning through Rameses' bite. Dr. Cunning screamed as his body shook from the volts of electricity coursing through him.

Dr. Cunning shakily reached over his shoulder jabbing his needles into Rameses necks and head stopping the electricity as it was pulled into his gauntlet instead. Rameses shrunk and he let go and tried to break free from Dr. Cunning's needles, just as he got clear Dr. Cunning brought his foot back and kicked Rameses full force sending him flying into a glass wall of a cell that shattered into a million shards as Rameses went through it. I didn't have time to react as Dr. Cunning was in front of me an angry smirk on his face.

"That was a rotten trick." He said as his fingertip hit my solar plexus and the needles sprung forward again. Like before he lifted me up pain racing through me like fire. Danny ran over to try and help but with a open hand pointed towards him electricity hit him like it had Cas earlier sending him into the wall so hard that he was stuck in the imprint he left.

"Morgan focus put your hands on either side of his head, I'll keep him from pulling anymore of your magic." Seth ordered like a general as the pain lessened and a puzzled look took over Dr. Cunning's face. I did as Seth asked unsure what to do next.

"Electricity jumps from one point to another going through whatever's in it's way. FRY HIM!!!" Seth commanded as I channeled electricity into my finger tips I had done this once before but had only managed to sustain a gap of an inch between my thumb and forefinger. Seth upon realizing I couldn't do it turned away from stopping the theft of my magic, the pain returning like a tidal wave and instead turned the weak stream between my finger into a torrent as lightning became visible between my hands. Dr. Cunning shook and seized as thousands of volts passed through his head, Seth pulled back his magic feeling like it was pulling me back as head started to go fuzzy.

Seth took control as Dr. Cunning stood frozen drawing my legs up to Dr. Cunning's chest and pushing of pulling away from the devastating needles and backflipping to land a couple feet away. Dr. Cunning finally began to move a mad fearful look in his eyes as he stumbled back wards until his back hit the wall. He quickly looked beside him where a panel of buttons was on the wall before looking back to me a mad smile reaching from ear to ear on his face.

"YOU WANTED THE WISP, YOU CAN HAVE HIM!!!" Dr. Cunning yelled in a mad cackle as with a click of a button the wall turned out to be a set of heavy metal doors that slowly opened, fog like dry ice spilling across the floor. It was the smell that made me recoil sulfur, brimstone and flame a noxious combination that assaulted my nose to the point that I had to cover my nose.
