I was the first one awake the next morning. We had had to go to nearly three hotels before we found one with a single room, thankfully that room had two full size beds. Jasper and Danny had taken one while Rameses and I had the other which pretty much just meant that I had a bed to myself since Rameses had claimed a pillow and curled up for the night.

Getting up I petted Rameses who stretched out with a yawn but remained on his pillow. Looking over I had to stifle a laugh, at some point in the night Danny had decided to treat Jasper like a teddy bear no wonder he had said it would be better for him to not share a bed with me I could only imagine Rameses' or Jasper's reaction. Although the reaction he was going to get from Jasper was up in the air and could end very badly.

I decided to try to avoid a fight this early in the morning, I went over a lightly tapped Danny on the shoulder only to have a crushing grasp put on my wrist as Rameses began growling having shot up from his sleepy state the moment I had been surprised.

"Sorry." Danny said as the sleep cleared from his eyes and he released his grasp on me. In all of this Jasper was still fast asleep lightly snoring which was probably for the best.

"It's alright Rameses, I'm fine it was an accident." I told Rameses trying to calm him down since he still seemed to be debating whether or not to attack Danny. Rameses finally stopped growling with what I could only call a mental huff. Danny got up and went over to the bathroom retrieving his clothes he had washed the night before and returned to the main room. I decided to take the opportunity to get ready for the day.

By the time I was done Jasper was awake and Danny was back in his clothes from the night before. Rameses was lazily watching tv on the bed since he had the least to do in the morning, lucky cat.

"How does everyone feel about going out to breakfast and then we'll get some supplies including new clothes for you Danny. No offense but your clothes smell like water still." I said getting nods in return. Finding a breakfast place proved to be a bit more difficult than we thought and eventually we ended up eating at a food truck that said Navajo Tacos on the side and was serving something called frybread with taco parts on top. The food was a lot better than what I was expecting and given the pleased looks on the others' faces they felt the same, I could even feel a bit of joy rolling off of Rameses.

"So what supplies do we need?" I asked Danny after we were all done with our food.

"Well, we have to be careful to make sure we can carry it all so probably some food, a backpack for you, a sleeping bag, and some toiletries." Danny replied after a couple moments of thought.

"You seem to be forgetting you are traveling with a witch now." Rameses stated from where he was sitting next to me.

"Yeah you don't have to worry about carrying the supplies, this bag is magic and can hold just about anything as long as it isn't alive and doesn't have a soul in it." I told him patting my messenger bag.

"That's awesome! Still I don't want to be wasting all your money and I don't have any." Danny replied going from excited to a bit sheepish again.

"Don't worry about that either, my family was well off enough that we don't have to worry and the money isn't being wasted it's being used for necessities to travel." I told him since it was true, now if he tried to buy a gold Rolex then we'd be having words.

"I think our first stop should be a hunting store get you some good shoes, sneakers are well and good until you have to hike through rocky terrain." Danny said before going up to the food truck cashier, after a quick conversation with the cashier Danny waved us over. We eventually ended up in the downtown district of Durango which had many fishing and hunting stores apparently it was a major industry here.

The first store we went into was a hunting store where Danny quickly found me a pair of hiking boots from the men's section telling me the women's section weren't as well made even though women probably wanted good boots too. Danny then set about getting supplies, a large tent that would fit all of us and our gear, a large cast iron pot and pan along with some metal dishes, more ammo for his gun amongst other things. Danny had been especially pleased to find a portable washing machine that had a solar panel on it. By the time we were done the three of us were all carrying bags and once we had found an out of the way corner we stored the supplies in my bag.

"We should go to a thrift store next you need a good jacket and a coat after that we should go to a grocery store for food. After that it's to the library." Danny told us once we had our new acquisitions packed away.

"Why the library?" Jasper asked.

"The library has free Wi-fi so I can work on tracking Cas and Morgan won't look strange reading her witch books that I assume she has to learn from." Danny replied which made sense to me. We found a thrift store away from downtown after stopping for drinks on my request on the way, which I felt was worth it as the boys faces lit up at their drinks. The thrift store was massive with clothing sections, tool sections anything and everything was here.

Danny headed off on his own leaving me to find a jacket and coat with Jasper and Rameses. Jasper quickly grew bored turning into a wisp and opting to go back to the lantern. I was comparing a couple of jackets when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Oh honey, I believe you have something of mine." A lady maybe a couple of years older than me said, She was dressed in designer clothes so I wasn't sure why she would be in a thrift store with diamond jewelry or why she wanted one of the jackets I had on my arm. She was pretty like a model with jet black hair and piercing eyes an strange icy blue like chips of artic ice, aside from huskies I had never seen eyes like that. Her demeanor wasn't really something I could place she came of as friendly if not a bit condescending, so why did she make my hair stand on end.

"Oh no darling, I meant the wisp. I wouldn't be caught dead in someone else's clothes." The woman chuckled coldly as I held out the jackets to her. Rameses let out a low hiss more akin to a snake as Jasper's lantern heated up and started shaking violently. The woman sneered before kicking Rameses sending him rolling across the floor and into the wall.

"Now, now there's no need to get hostile. I just need the wisp and I'll be going." She told us holding out her hand as if I was just going to hand over Jasper.

"No." I replied sternly backing up to Rameses while making sure Jasper's lantern was unlocked.

"Morgan be careful she isn't human!" Rameses screamed in my mind as he got back to his feet.

"It wasn't exactly a request, now we can do this the easy way or the hard way your choice." The woman told me with a smirk.

"What do you even want with Jasper anyways?" I asked trying to buy time since Danny was still in the store and hopefully would be coming back soon.

"It's not what I want it's more that my boyfriend purchased quite a few wisps for his experiment, but the seller was incompetent and lost some. Unfortunately he ran out of material and I was in the area, so he asked me to retrieve the missing wisp." She replied annoyance lacing her tone.

I was about to respond when in the blink of an eye Cas was in front of me, I jerked my bag away just in time to avoid her grabbing Jasper's lantern. Cas's face twisted for a second before she sneered and drove her fist into my stomach making me cough and double over.

"Your starting to annoy me, just hand over the wisp and I leave you alone. Honestly what would I want with a plain girl like you?" Cas whispered in my ear with a scoff.

"Enough I'm right here." Jasper said from a few feet behind Cas, he must have left the lantern at some point with out my noticing.

"You're a lot bigger than the other ones." Cas said as she moved away from me it almost sounded like there was doubt in her voice.

"Morgan's to thank for that, what are you afraid?" Jasper asked with a tilt of his head.

"No! Just get in the damn case." Cas spat back holding us a hinged glass case.

"CAS?!" Danny exclaimed as he came around the corner and spotted his sister dragging her attention away from Jasper.
