Sunlight peeked into their single roomed rented house and Swetlana stretched her hands snoozing the beeping alarm. Hailey had already woken up. David knocked on the door informing about the breakfast he had prepared.

Lana tied her hair in a bun and joined David and Hailey in the dining hall. David agreed to drop off both the girls at Fonseka Data Company and wished them luck.

Both the girls entered the lobby.  A receptionist enquired about their interview and told them to wait at the waiting room. A blonde girl exited the room. She checked out Lana and Hailey and brought them in front of two adjacent rooms. Peeking into the left one, she motioned Hailey to enter. Greeting the person  inside, she entered the room.

Hailey knocked at the door as she felt adrenaline running all her over body. Peeking into the room, she glanced at the young man sitting across the desk. Wishing him a 'Good Morning' , she sat across the table for the interview.

He looked quite young and had a business look. He was wearing a black suit which stood out with his blue eyes. His dark brown hair was brushed back. She forgot her nervousness for a short while.

The first thing to cross her mind was He is handsome.

The blonde girl Rebecca glanced at Lana from the room and called her in. Wishing good morning, her eyes met with a pair of sparkling blue eyes across the office desk. Rebecca nodded and left. The young man introduced himself as Liam Fonseka and sat down, motioning me to sit down too. His eyes held a curious look which was both serious and alarming. She was at the highest peak of her nervousness but avoided making it too obvious.

"So...Ms. Winters, " he started looking at my name on the file she was carrying "Why do you want this job? Your grades are pretty good for some big software companies around the world. "

"I already applied on quite a few companies but the basic salary wasn't upto my taste so I decided to drop them. Along with it , I live with my friend since I lost my parents at the age of three. I don't have a rich luxurious background to have me enriched with all the money for my lifetime. I'm good at software datas more than hardware ones. So I think I can do software jobs more efficiently." Lana finished in one breath.

"Okay. Where do you live?" He asked his second question.

She felt nervous as she thought
Okay...so I didn't see this coming...

"I shifted to Ridge Village yesterday from my native town Washington. "

"Will you be able to do whatever job I tell you to, Miss Winters?"

He asks pretty odd questions....her mind repeated.

"Err....yeah. I think so." She replied , my heart throbbing in my chest.

"You're appointed Ms. Winters." He states and puts out his hand for a shake.

"Uh..what? Oh...thank you so much... Sir." She bowed shaking his hand and left the room.

Hailey was waiting for Lana in the waiting hall. As she caught a glimpse of her bestie, she jumped on her feet , running and hugging her. Both were equally excited for getting hired for the job.

Rebecca looked sharply at them providing them with their appointment letter and left. Hailey' s shift started from a hour later Lana' s shift ended. It was sad but their exciting vibes were so high that they didn't care about it at all at that moment.

Gossiping how their interview went, they hired a cab, returning to their sharing rented house....excited to tell David of their success.
