"Different story? What does that mean Beth?" Lana stared at her suspiciously and glanced at the others who were standing far away from them, near the cliff.

"I'll tell you but just wait for the right timing. I'll tell you everything then. Just know and be sure that I'm not standing up for THEM." Beth said as she looked straight at Hailey and continued, "You'll be safe too if you stick with Lana and try to understand me."

She flashed a smirk and turned around, leaving them alone.

A car entered their vicinity as the door opened revealing a blonde haired man in suit. His blue eyes roamed from the group of four to the group of two. Hailey held Lana's hand and went towards Ethan as she smiled a little and suggested Lana to get into the car.

Hailey was about to close the door behind her when Cody came running. Ethan stepped up in front of him and stopped him from approaching the car.

He screamed loudly, uttering each words carefully for them to hear.
"You have to believe us..."

Hailey closed the door as Lana looked outside the windows beside her. Ethan closed the car door and looked at Liam as he nodded at him. Liam started the engine as the woods passed by them.

"Mr. Fonseka.....I'm sorry for bringing trouble to pick us up. I'll make sure it won't happen anytime in the future. Thanks a lot for helping us..."
Lana spoke in a low voice which was audible enough for them.

"You better not cause anymore trouble Ms. Winters. And since we meet a lot of time outside work, I think we can switch to first names instead of being so formal, even when we are not at work, Ms. Swetlana."

Lana took time to process what Liam said and was about to say something as Hailey grabbed her hand and pressed her lips in a thin line.

"Oh sure. That would be an honour, Mr. Liam."
Liam glanced at her through the rear view mirror and then focused on the road again.

Hailey and Ethan locked their eyes, smiling at each other having some mental conversation between themselves.

The car came to a stop as Hailey opened the room and walked up to the front gate. Ethan followed her, saying he needs to talk to her about something important.

Lana closed the car door and peeked into the driver's window.

"Thank you again for picking us up. I'm sorry to interrupt your work."
"Yeah it's fine. You both didn't interrupt anything....and as I said let's drop the formalities when we aren't at the office."

Lana nodded as she said "I would prefer Lana instead of Swetlana then..."
She entered the house and saw Ethan talking "...you'll be fine since you're resuming from tomorrow again, right Hailey?"

'They've grown quite closer lately.' Lana thought.
"Yeah as long as Lana is fine with that too."
Ethan nodded and turned around to see Lana as he smiled at her and left after a short goodbye.

"Hailey, let's pack everything and stay at the hotel tonight. We'll have to find a new rent house again."

"Aren't you going to stay at the mansion from the next week? You got promoted as Personal Secretary, remember? I spoke with Ethan....he will be able to squeeze me in with you as long as we both will be staying in the same room together. He agreed to let us move in before the agreement date as long as we don't go around talking about it."

"You spoke to him? He really said that? He is too kind. We are lucky I guess." Lana felt a huge burden lifted up from her.

"Yes. I know. Let's go to the cafe after we pack the things. He will pick us up from there after his work is over around 6 in the evening. But....will you be fine? After everything that happened it's like walking into a mess....You know you can skip work tomorrow and take a sick leave. I'll be able to manage it for a day."

"You don't have to do anything more, young squid. You already did a lot for me. I'm good and I'll be fine tomorrow morning as long as I don't see or think about them. " Lana chuckled, "Let's leave before they come back after us."

"That's the least a sister can do, you know....anyways let's go and pack up fast then." Hailey held Lana's hand and pulled her.
