Two hours later a car drove around David's house and parked.

Lana and Hailey pulled out their luggage down the stairs and we're about to leave when the front door closed and four people entered the house.

David almost ran towards them.
"You can't leave. Especially not with Liam. You don't even know them apart from being your boss!"

"This isn't up for debate, David. We didn't know you either. We just met each other at the Coffee Junction 3 months ago. I just felt I could trust you. They're atleast trustworthy than you all who killed my mother and tried to harm my sister. I have no reason to talk to you. Let us leave if you're not planningto kill me."

Lana looked at Hailey and motioned her to follow her out.

David sank on the chair. Cody put a hand on his shoulder to support him up.

"After dad left, mom was the only hope I had when I was in kindergarten and then she left me too...alone. She ran away and married another man. I was dumped at my aunt's house. I wasn't even old enough to understand what happened. Even if they took care of me, I just wanted to grow up like a normal family, with a mother and a father. I just needed them and I wouldn't have turned out to be socially awkward like this. I don't know when to say what. I just speak my mind. But even with this, I still thought I got two friends and now they're gone too. If I could, I would've changed the past...." David's voice faded.

Cody made him sit him on the couch.

"We'll keep an eye on them. We can't force them to stay anymore and especially since Liam will be staying with them always. We'll wait for the right opportunity and attack. Just two of them can't stop us and we'll bring Lana and Hailey back."

David nodded and asked," Would you guys stay here tonight?"

"Only if it's fine with you.." Beth said.
David sighed and nodded.

Alex sat on the couch as he fiddled with his bracelet.

The bracelet had a turquoise stone embedded in it which glowed in the dark. It had been a possession of his great grandfather who had received it as a reward for his loyalty and nature from the founder of the Werewolf Community. Since then, it had been passing down from generation to generation.

He stood up all of a sudden. He looked at Beth and David and nodded. They nodded back at their Alpha as a response to their telepathic conversation.

With his teeth biting his lips, he closed the front door behind him as he walked into the busy streets of the main Manhattan City, alone, planning an idea in his head.

He glanced at his watch and crossed the street with his hands being engulfed by the small volume of his hoodie pockets.

He passed across the traditional smell of the coffee once in a while and walked away, finding something on his way.
