Here goes your chapter you've been waiting for a few days...

Fear took its place as Lana was witnessing a huge white wolf standing menacingly. It walked towards Hailey who didn't seem like her own self. David shouted Alex's name as the wolf's head snapped towards them. A shiver went down Lana's spine as her eyes met the golden ones of the wolf.

"What the..." She could see what happened 18 years ago...how her parents died and how she was close to death. She forgot to breathe as she kept staring at the beast, it's silver fur shining under the moonlight.

She fixed her gaze from the wolf to her sister. Hailey was looking back at her. The softness and frail look has vanished and was taken up by her blood red eyes. Her face was as pale as ghost as she looked at her with full of hatred.

She was not breathing. She clenched her jaw as she made a weird eerie sound.

She turned towards Lana as she ran to her in an inhumanly speed, closing her palms around Lana's neck as David tried to set her free.
The wolf pounced on Hailey making her pass out. Lana fell a few feet away scratching her arms and back a little on the branches of vines and trees.

She was yet strong enough to sit up straight. David ran to her side. She skidded away from them, gasping for air. The wolf grunted as it's bones made crushing sound. The shiny fur was getting absorbed as flesh came into view. The claws transformed back to nails just like any other human being. It stood up on its hind limbs which shifted to human legs . He walked up to Lana and crouched down, close to her. He looked at her with regret and pity.

A mixture of feelings were rushing through him.

"Trust me. She is fine. We're not..." Alex whispered.
Lana interrupted with a low and weak quivering voice, "Stop. Just stop."

She pushed them away from her way and stood up with jelly legs. She dragged herself, falling beside Hailey.

"Hailey, wake up. Wake up. We need to leave. Please..."

The two figure standing behind her stood motionless as one of them spoke up, "She's fine. She'll wake up after some sleep."

Beth and Cody rummaged through the forest and stood still to watch Lana sitting on the forest floor.
Swetlana looked up with blurry eyes and asked with her scratched voice, "You're also a beast like them, aren't you?"

Beth sank down and hugged her.

"Why did you all wait to kill me? You thought you killed me when you were mercilessly after my parents, didn't you? Whatever you do, don't touch Hailey. She doesn't deserve..."
Her voice started fading away. She was coughing as she passed out mid-sentence as a result of the blow she got when she hit the tree.

Alex carried Lana and David staggered with Hailey behind him. Beth and Cody put up the remaining tents and tucked them in their sleeping bags.

The bonfire burnt as they discussed how to explain their true identities. Alex washed his gushing wound on his arm which has made a deep injury by revealing his muscles.

"It'll be hard for her to believe us, when we've got no proof." Beth tied her hair in a ponytail.

"We've still got to try. We can't sit back like that. We can't bring her the proof yet. Time will reveal everything." Cody added small dry twigs to the fire.

"We can't tell everything. We aren't supposed to reveal anything about 'them'. It's not our job."
"Swetlana is not anyone. We have to tell her. It's her decision whether she accepts it as truth or rejects it as lie. She wasn't the only one who treated us like that." Alex tried to speak.

Mr. Q listened to their conversations whispering under his breath, 'All the luck with you kids...'. He pulled up his hood and jumped from one tree to another, moving deep into the dark dense forest.
