Skylar drained the holy water from the capsule with a sigh. Tetra stepped out slowly.

"This is your 37th time in this capsule, Tetra," Skylar said. "Sooner or later, you'll have to realize that you can't escape Cloud 7. You're only damaging yourself."

"When are we going to see Ava again?" Tetra asked.

"When she is ready."

Tetra scoffed. "While I'm trying to get a piece of my soul back, you angels want to keep our friend away from us and me away from my other half. Even my own stupid boyfriend doesn't want me to fix myself."

"Do you really mean that?" Lo said as he came around the corner.

Tetra tried to squeeze out a quick, "No", but Lo raised his hand to stop her.

"Ever since Cloud 9, your tics have gone away. That's great. But you were trying to hold them back for us. Any time you were alone and I happened to catch you, they were still there. Hidden away. Like your emotions over the past year since we first defeated Rob."

Tetra looked down at his feet. Lo continued, "Now it's all coming back up and you're throwing yourself away for the worse half of yourself. You can live without her. I know you can, but you don't think so...and I can't watch you do this to yourself." He pulled the long-forgotten Angel Blade from behind his back.

"Babe, where did you get that?" asked Tetra. The glow made her muscles tighten with fear.

"I stashed it away after Cloud 8, hoping I'd never have to use it. Now, I won't. You will." He threw the sword on the floor and it skidded to a stop at her feet. 

She stepped back instinctively. "What are you saying?"

"If you want Andie, you need that. But you can do it without me." Lo turned and started walking towards the front door of the house.

Tetra realized what he was saying and grabbed his arm. "Lo, please. Don't leave. We can work this out."

He faced her and held her face in his hands. "I'm not breaking up with you. But until you can fight your demons, we're on hiatus. It's for your own good."

Skylar sighed. "Mortal, hurry up. I'm not a chauffeur. I only offered you a ride to a new home."

Lo kissed Tetra on the forehead and left with Skylar, who waved goodbye with a smile on her face.

Tetra collapsed onto the floor, not caring about any injury and began sobbing uncontrollably.
