Lo sat on the edge of his bed. The sun was breaking through the clouds, alerting all of the animals on Cloud 7 that it was time to wake. The sounds of a city murmured outside and the opposite side of the bed was empty, which reminded Lo of Tetra. He threw on some clothes and rushed out into the living room.

The capsule that housed Tetra bathed the furniture in an odd green light. She was floating in holy water, healing from her last attempt at escaping Cloud 7. Tetra placed her hand on the glass, reaching out to Lo. He returned the gesture.

"How's the capsule today, Tet?" Lo asked.

"Warm," she said lifelessly. "I couldn't get away this time."

"Tetra, you need to stay here."

"I can feel her out there, Lo. She stole half of my soul, and it's eating away at me."

Lo gave her a stare. "But you don't have to find her. You're surviving just fine if you don't keep trying to get out of Cloud 7. I don't want to lose you too."

She looked like she was trying to contemplate his words. Her gray eyes had since lost their color because of Andie's exit and it was taking a toll on her brain.

"I can't live like this anymore, Lo. I need her."

Lo turned away from her. "Please, don't try to escape again. For me." He went back to the room to sleep again.

Tetra sank to the bottom of her capsule. She knew he was right. But she couldn't shake the feeling that something was going on down below that she needed to intervene.

"Tetra's such an inconvenience," said Andie. She was perched atop a pillar near Hell's main parliament building. The pain that Tetra felt affected her, albeit spiritually and not physically.

Nonetheless, Andie drew her demon blade and jumped down, disrupting a group of nearby monsters. They thought maybe she was a disguised demon at first, but she proved them wrong with a swift stroke of her sword.

An alarm sounded inside of the building, causing about 50 demons to exit, looking for a fight. Andie dissolved her sword and ran as fast as she could away from the parliament.

After diving behind a rock, she drew her sword. Her breathing struggled to calm as she shakily inhaled and exhaled.

The pack of demons ran past her rock in a frenzy. She relaxed and put her sword away again. Her food satchel was nearly empty, which her body was not happy about. She chose to ignore it though and pushed onwards towards the parliament building.
