A car pulls into the driveway and Claudia's mother gets out of it, letting the dog out of the backseat. He runs to the door of the house as she retrieves her grocery bags from the trunk.

INT. FOYER

Claudia's mother enters the house, still burdened with groceries.

CLAUDIA'S MOM
(calling out)
Claudia? Did the dog walker come by?

Her dog barks. He is standing by the closet door, wagging his tail furiously. Claudia's mother hurries over to it and swings the door open. Casey almost falls onto her feet, but catches herself just in time. She and Claudia look up at the latter's mother.
