CASEY
One of the last times we talked. You saw that I wasn't wearing the bracelet you made me and you asked where it was. I told you that I threw it away.

Claudia stares at the floor, obviously hurt by the memory.

CASEY

(hesitantly)

I didn't throw it away. I couldn't. It's in my bedside table.

There is a pause. Their gazes meet.

CASEY

I missed you, too, Claudia. I just didn't know how to get you back.

Claudia smiles tentatively.

CLAUDIA

But you're a cheerleader. I doubt your friends would be too happy to see you hanging out with me.

CASEY

(sadly)
I don't care about them. I haven't for a really long time. We're going to be seniors, Quinn. I've wasted too much time already. I just want to be your friend again.
