Turns out that me and that boy have classes together in all the periods. He's a flyer, one of the teams. We chat together before the period starts.

"So, Matthew, do you have a nickname, like Matt?" I ask politely.

"No. Why?" He responds a little carelessly, with a casual tone.

"Just wondering. So, is the Flyer room nice?" I ask. Our team room's all right, but I think of the being Flyer as somewhere cool, rather than our team's pure gold room.

"Good. It's really open, probably for when we learn how to change. I heard from my sister, who's a Wildcat, that your team room is mostly gold?" He says heavily. His dark eyes gleam, and you can tell he wants to know badly. Like an eagle wanting prey. 

Shudder.

I'm about to answer Matthew's question when Pro. Gillian comes out of his classroom and beckons us in. It surprises me that Pro. Gillian is a man, not a woman. I mean, Gillian's a girl's name after all.

The beautiful floral wallpaper distracts me momentarily. "Your wallpaper is very pretty," I blurt out.

"Please, Miss Carlyn, please call me Pro. Gillian or Pro. But yes, thank you. I also think so. It was left behind from retired Pro. Leckle." says Gillian in a mannerly way.

Then he takes a seat behind the desk, and looks at all of us, just standing there in front of the desks. "Hello, friends, students. My name is Gyle Gillian. There is no need to call me 'sir, or Pro. Gillian' , I'd prefer you simply call me "Pro" or "Professor". So students, what do you say?" He nods at us expectantly.

Um, what? Thankfully, a few kids do know (including Matthew). They chorus, "Yes, Pro." So I join too.
