Paul's POV

I shook her but I could hear her heart beat slowing down which caused me to panic. The second I was at the hospital and pushed away as they tired to save her. I called Charlie, Bella and the entire pack, telling them what was happening and where exactly we were at. I paced the room as time seemed to slow down when someone touched my shoulder. I felt pain in my chest notifying me Eve my mate and imprint was in fact dying. I growled at whoever had touched me only to realize it was Sam and the entire pack plus Charlie and Bella were here.

"She's dying Sam, I can feel it" I said softly so only wolf hearing could hear me

"She's not going to die, shy will make it she has to" Leah growled

It felt like hours before the doctors finally came out of wherever they had taken my mate.

"Who's the family?" the doctor asked

"I'm her father, this is her sister" Charlie said

I went to step forward to follow them, but I was stopped by the doctor before Bella spoke up.

"He comes with" Bella said to which I could never be more thankful for in the moment

The doctor nodded and we followed her down a hallway and to the right then into a room where Eve lay unconscious. I rushed to her side grabbing her hand as pain and worry filled my entire body.

"Why, baby why?" I asked softly

"Oh Eve" Charlie said rushing to her other side

"Oh I should have known, this is my fault, I wasn't a good enough sister I hope you'll forgive me someday Eve" Bella cried

"Is she going to be alright doc?" I asked

"Yes, if you hadn't gotten there in time and called 911 she wouldn't have but you just possibly saved her life kid" she said

"How did you get there so fast?" Charlie asked suspisoun in his voice

"I drove way over the speed limit and followed the instructions Bella gave to find her when she found her location" I lied

"well thank you son" he said

Bella looked at me and nodded softly, but as much as I thanked her for small things, I couldn't help but also blame her. I mean if Eve hadn't been dragged to Forks or into the vampire world she might not almost have killed herself. She did try to kill herself and I haven't been stalking my imprint she'd be dead.

Narrators POV

Although what they didn't know was she was still on the lifeline. She was struggling to decide to live or to die. She didn't know what to choose in her unconscious state of mind. In her mind she was in a dream or a horrible nightmare.
