Chapter-13

-Number One

Anna's POV

"Oh! When is it?", I asked Bane as he is sitting in front of me with his normal emotionless face.

"It's the day after tomorrow. You know the ritual of announcing a Luna to their pack right?", he asked looking at me without blinking.

"Yeah", I said while giving him a smile.

There is silence between us. I looked at my hands. The silence is awkward. I looked around our room and then at him. He is still staring at me without any emotions. He is just... staring.

"So... Umm...", I started and trailed off.

"So?", he asked, waiting for me to continue.

"So, did you know who was the person that tried to attack you that day?", I asked with curiosity. It's been two weeks since then. He didn't introduce me to the pack, cause he didn't want his enemies to know that he found his mate. But since now everyone knows, he is officially announcing me as the Luna. His Luna.

"No. We are trying to find out. We caught a rogue and we are trying to find out the things from him", he explained.

As he said that, I remembered those dark blue eyes that I saw far in the trees that day. Those eyes still haunt me. I remeber those eyes. Very well. Our Beta has the same eyes. I have been thinking wether to say about it to Bane or not. Will he believe me if I say? Also I am not sure about it. I am just assuming it is him. It's not proved.

"What is it Anna? Tell me", he demanded in a gentle voice.

"I... Uh... I... I...".

"Tell me anything Anna. Trust me", he assured by putting his hand on mine.

"I saw a pair of dark blue eyes, hidden in the bushes that day", I said and he is instatnly alert. He moved more closer to me than he already is.

"What?".

"Yes. They are very dark in shade", I explained and he held my hands in his.

"Did you see anythingelse?", he asked desperately with curiosity.

"No", I said while shaking my head.

"It's okay Anna. I won't let anything happen to you. Ever", he said bringing me closer and hugging me. I laid my head on his chest.

"I know", I whispered.

"Look! I found the food!", Josh said in an uncomfortable voice while entering the room with his hands full of junk food and even there is a chips packet in his mouth. I laughed at him. He is looking like a jocker!

"Hey Josh!", I greeted my new best friend. Since the time we met, we have been the best friends. Partners in crime and what not. Bane is getting annoyed by him and by his closeness to me. Josh would akways just shrug it off like it's nothing when Bane growls angrily. Josh always comes just when me and Bane have our alone time and disturbs us.

"Yo Sweetie! Here, take it!", he throws a packet towards me. I pull away from Bane and catch it. Bane growled at him for calling me with an endearment and for disturbing our privacy.

"She doesn't need you now! Just get lost you stupid!", Bane growled at him angrily.

"Alpha, I just came to give her some food", Josh reasoned out while plopping himself on the couch in our room. Bane is getting angry and I knwo he might loose control any minute.

"Josh, thanks for the food, but go", I ordered.

"Geez! You horny wolves! Okay, I am leaving! But a small suggesstion. Since the ceremony is coming soon, maybe you can go shopping and buy a dress for yourself. You can even have a change of mood. From the last two weeks, all you do is take rest. Go out. I say Come out. Let's us all go and have fun sometime", Josh suggested.

"We don't need to. Just get out! I don't want to send her out when the danger is sulking around us", Bane said angrily, while putting a possessive and caring hand around me.

"You can also come Alpha. I won't mind", Josh said while taking a bite on his chip. I glared at him, warning him to not bane anymore angry.

"Don't. Make. Me. Regret my decision. Of. Me. Making you. Her Personal Boayguard", Bane said in a low angry voice. Josh gulped a little and lowered his head in submission. He left, leaving and Bane alone once again. I am not really in a mood for shopping, but I looked at Bane. Maybe I can buy something for him.

"I think we should go shopping", I said looking at Bane and he stared back at me.

"What?".

"Josh is right. It may change my mood".

"Okay", Bane said while nodding his head in agreement.

"But I will only go if you come with me", I said.

"You think I will let you go by yourself out after what happened?", he questioned out.

I just stared at him caring face.

"Get ready in a half-an-hour", he said before kissing my forehead and getting up from my bed.

I smiled and got up from the bed to go to the closet. I took out a tight dark blue jeans and a white printted floral shirt. I wore a jean over coat and came out. I came out and found Bane in a black jeans and black shirt looking handsome as ever. My wolf is purring at his sight. He had an amused expression on his face. But it is soon gone.

"Ready?", he asked.

I just nodded my head in return.

"I called your mother and told her that the ceremony is in two days. She will be coming tomorrow with your brother", he informed and I am shocked and thrilled at the same time.

"Really!", I asked with excitement. I am sure my eyes are wide with happiness. I am so happy that my mother and brother will be here! I didn't let my mother know about the attack. She doesn't need to know about it. Bane wanted to inform her, but I stopped him. But now everything is fine. I am fine. She can come and I don't need to worry.

"Let's go", Bane said giving me his hand. I took his hand and we came donw stairs. Josh is stuffing his mouth with chips while watching a football match. I gave him a nasty look. He turned to us. He scanned us top to bottom and gave us a confusing look.

"Where are you guys going?", he asked while turning back to the TV and stuffed more chips in his mouth.

"Pig", I heard Bane mutter under his breathe.

I shook my head at him.

"Don't you remember that you said we can go to shopping?".

"Yeah. But I didn't mean it so suddenly", he said turning to me and sitting straight.

"But we are going now. Now come on. Get ready. We will wait", I ordered.

"I am ready", he said standing and cleaning himself. He is wearing a blue jeans with a V-neck shirt and leather jacket.

"Are you going to come like this?", I aske dhim in shock.

"What's wrong with this sexiness?", he asked cockily. Bane is shifting on his leg, getting annoyed every minute.

"Josh. Stop it". I started walking out and Bane walked beside me. Josh followed us behind.

Bane opened the car door for me. I smiled at him before sitting inside and Bane closed the door. He came over and sat in the driver's seat. Josh helped himself into the back seat. He kept eating apple. I shook my head at him. Bane started driving and we soon reached the mall. I got out. Bane gave keys to Josh to park the car.

"Come on", he said while putting a hand arouns my waist and pulling me with him. It felt so good to have his hand around me.

"Hey! Wait up!", Josh shouted jogging behind us. We went inside and I went into a shop that I first saw. It's not women shop though. It's a men shop. Bane and Josh came with me. Bane gave me a confused look.

"I have everything I need. Actually, I wanted to buy you a shirt and also a jeans. A whole dress", I said smiling and blushing a little. Bane came to me and pulled me closer. He leaned down and kissed my cheek.

"You don't need to", he said in my ear.

"But I want to. Please", I said giving him my puppy face. He nooded his head. I grinned and walked around looking for a right shirt for him. Josh just sat at the corner, but after some time, he started flirting with a women in the store. I rolled my eyes at him. Bane is just observing me and my every movement.

There are a lot of brands with differetn trypes of different coloured shirts. I don't know his favourite brand, his favourite colour. I remembered how he filled his whole closet with new clothes for me. He did so much for me, but I didn't do anything! I took a green shirt and tried to gauge Bane reaction for it. His face is neutral like always. No emotion. I put it back.

I rummaged through different shirts. What to do?, I thought to myself.

Follow your instincts, my wolf said. She is right.

I went around and found a shirt. A white shirt with a number one on it with a dark blue colour. I instantly took it out. I went to the other side and picked out a light blue jeans. I went to him smiling and gave them to him.

"Here. Try these on", I said and he nodded before going inside a trail room.

I eagerly waited outisde. Pacing around while looking at the door every few seconds.

Why isn't he coming out?, I thougth.

Maybe he needs help, my wolf suggests. I rolled my eyes at her.

Just then the door opens and the stood Bane. Looking sexy as hell. The clothes fit him perfectly. The sleeves are rolled up. How should I describe him? Sexy?! Dashing?! Hot?! A pure sexy and handsome breed of male gender! I squealed in excitement and went to him, kissing him on his lips hardly. I put my hadns arouns his necka nd pulled away instantly.

"Bane! You look so handsome! See, I knew you would look great in them. I selected it because it has one on it. Meaning you are the number one in the pack and my heart! You are looking so hot in these clothes-", I stopped my ramblings when I realized how much I said and what I said. I looked down blushing. My wolf is ignoring me, checking our mate.

I called him handsome and hot! I told him that he is number one is my hear and in pack! What might he be thinkging of me?! You stupid! I scolded myself.

"Bane, I am sorr-", he cut me off with his fingers on my lips. He lips twitched into a very very small smile.

"Don't say sorry. I love, we love that our mate thinks about us like that. I am happy to know that I have a place, first place in your heart", he said and leaned down to kiss my lips. I blushed furiously and kissed him back for a moment. We heard a throat clear and found Josh with his hand drapped over the shoulder of the sales women.

"Umm... Sir, do you want me to pack these clothes?", she askes looking at Bane. She squirmed under Josh's hand.

"No. Just bill them. I want to wear them now", he said looking at me. I blushed while looking down.

"Okay sir", she said leaving, escaping Josh. He turned back to look at her. He sighed and turned back to us.

"Let's go to the restaurant beside the mall", he said boringly. Bane is still holding me.

"Who is she?", I asked Josh.

"No one. I just flirted with her anf thought she fell. But she didn't. She had a nice ass though". I looked at him with disgust.

We billed the clothes and came out. Bane kissed my cheek while Josh isn't looking. We were walking out the mall and some girls turned their heads backwards looking at Bane. My jealousy coursed through my veins. I glared at them.

"Now, do you understand how I feel when other males look at you? I feel it ten times more", Bane said in my ear and I blushed again. I can't blame them though. He is looking hot.

We were just walking to the restaurant when I hit a girl without seeing. Her bags fell down. I said sorry and bent down to help her. She smiled at me saying it's okay. Jusrt as I bent down, I heard a glass breaking behind me and I looked around. bane is alret and pulled me to a side. There is another bullet that ran straight from in front of my eyes, just an inch closer.

Bane covered my body with his. I searched around and found those dark blue eyes again, staring at us.
