Four and a half months. They were half way there. To celebrate both Reba and the baby were healthy, and to celebrate this occasion they decided to have a nice dinner at home.

"SHELBY" Reba yelled from the kitchen. "Yea mom?" He replied jogging into the kitchen. "Can you pick the spoon up for me? I can't bend over any more." She asked.Shelby shook his head and laughed as he bent down and picked up the spoon. Reba pouted and hugged him. The baby kicked him in the stomach.He bend over to the belly and said "your the reason she can't bend over anymore" the baby kicked again. Reba giggled and ruffled Shelby's hair. Narvel walked in and saw the two laughing

"What's so funny?" "The baby is trying to beat me up" Shelby answered. Narvel laughed and smelled something burning."uh hon, something's burning." Reba "shit!" She exclaimed as she ran and turned off the stove. Reba put her oven mitts on and pulled to completely burned meatloaf out of the over and threw it in the trash can. She walked over to Narvel, she placed her forehead on his chest and started balling. "I can't do anything anymore!" She sobbed Shelby awkwardly left and let them talk." Honey you are doing something amazing. You're growing our baby. Now, let me make dinner and you go and rest." "All I want to do is make a nice dinner for my family. I can't even do that" Reba said sobbing into Narvel. "Look you can make dinner, let me help you." He suggested. She seemed to calm down."Fine you can help but, I get to take all the credit" Reba proclaimed "What ever you say darlin" Narvel said. She laughed dryly and pecked his lips. "Thank you" she said turning around and attempting to remake the meatloaf.

"What do you need help with boss" Narvel asked Reba. "Anything that has to do with bending over for starters."She said. Narvel felt bad for her, she was very independent but she needed help now.

She tried to reach for the plates but her stomach was pressed against the counter and in the way. "Here I got it." Narvel said stepping closer."No, let me get it." she demanded. She reached higher this time, it still wasn't far enough..Narvel reached up and grabbed the plates. she turned around and looked furious.

As Narvel was helping His wife he said "Do you realize how much you amaze me" he asked.She softened her expression and hugged him."I love you Narvel." She said with her head pressed against his chest. "I love you more Reba" he said and kissed the top of her head.

At the dinner table Shelby stood up"I would like to make a toast to the baby!" He announced happily. Reba laughed and took a sip of her water. she watched hungrily as Shelby and Narvel drank wine... this wasn't a plus of pregnancy.
