v. foolish little angel!
╚═══════════════╝
ARIEL AND SAM immediately staggered back towards the wall as Castiel grabbed the angel blades from his back, and ripped them from the his skin. Ariel was now shaking with rage. She was furious at the fact that those blades failed to kill him, for her mission was relying on her brother's death.
She stumbled to her feet, and raced for the angel who stood in the middle of the room. Ariel shoved him in the back, causing him to stagger a few feet. "Come on, brother. You still think you are no math for me?" She questioned, lowering herself into a fighting stance.
When Castiel turned, he flicked his right wrist with a quick motion. This action sent her body flying straight into the back wall. All of the humans in the room visibly flinched upon impact. Ariel was quick to scramble to her feet, though. She raised her hand and she, as well, sent her brother flying to the nearest brick wall.
"Give up, Castiel. Let me finish my mission!" Ariel screamed, as he slowly made it to his feet. He just simply laughed at his sister, and dropped his own angel blade into his hand.
Ariel reached her hand out and beckoned her own blade to her hand. The angels raced towards each other, and began to try and slash each other with the weapons, only occasionally swiping the flesh of their opponent.
"Oh, Ariel. You are one foolish little angel." He smirked before raising his hand from his side. Ariel's body slowly began to levitate in the air, as Castiel beckoned her towards him. To get away, she flicked her head in the direction of the wall, and caused his body to fly away and leave her's out of his reach. She rushed to his side, and punched his smirking face with all of her might. He was sent sprawling to the floor while his angel blade slid across the room.
With blood dripping down his mouth, and a smug look on his face, Castiel said, "How do you like that little bond I put you on and Sammy? I am sure that you are simply raving about it."
"You son of a bitch." Ariel sneered as she drove a hard kick into his stomach. Castiel let out a loud groan, as Ariel beckoned the blade to her hand. "Do not follow through with your plan. You do not need the souls of Purgatory."
Castiel shriveled his body on the ground in such a way that his legs collided with Ariel's, and she was sent spiraling to the floor. "Oh my beloved sister. You are fighting a lost cause. The damage has already been made."
The male angel flicked his wrist, sending her angel blade to the other side of the room. He then reached out, and forced her body to slowly levitate towards him. Ariel tried to fight her way out of it, but now that Castiel has swallowed up the leviathans, he was much stronger than she could ever dream.
Once her body was floating directly in front of him, Castiel made his final move. He raised the silver blade high over his head, and sunk it through the skin underneath her clavicle. She let out an ear-piercing scream as a bright light came seeping out of the fresh wound. Castiel removed the knife, and then sent her body flying into a wall with a flick of his wrist.
As Ariel fell to the floor, she let out loud groans as she tried to heal her wound, but it was no use. Taking pity on her sounds of distress, Castiel rolled his eyes and snapped his fingers. All of a sudden, the sounds ceased, the lights were back to normal, and the female angel was gone.
Ariel gasped as her surroundings suddenly changed, and she subconsciously threw her hands up to the location of where her wound would be. However, there was nothing. She was as healthy as she was before the battle with her brother. Ariel slowly glanced around at the place around her, and she let out a groan when noticing her boss, Naomi, sitting directly in front of her.
"Ariel. So glad to see you." She spoke, faking a smile.
Ariel let out a huff, and brought her hands to her lap. "Likewise."
"Let us just cut right to the chase. You failed to complete your mission, and millions of lives will suffer because of you."
Ariel sighed and nodded her head. She felt utter disappointment and anger in herself as she sat in that small chair. In all of her time being known as the angel of protection, she had only had these feelings one other time. The only other mission she failed, was the preservation of the Union in the nineteenth century, which caused the American Civil War. Both times, she tried her absolute hardest to be successful, but it was no use.
"We currently do not have a mission for you, so you will be stationed on Earth for the time being." Naomi paused. "Try to figure out the deal with that bond. It is very unprofessional. And before you ask we cannot remove it. Castiel has become too powerful for us."
Ariel nodded her head slowly. She had no idea why Naomi knew about her bond, and Ariel did not recall informing her boss on anything about it. Though before the angel had anytime to pester, Naomi was all ready sending her off with a wave of her hand.

ARIEL, SAM, DEAN and Bobby all stood in the middle of Bobby's dimly lit basement. A large bowl filled to the top with an array of ingredients sat in front of them. Bobby was the one to light a match, and drop it directly on top of the mixture. The whole thing bursted into flames; which would summon the king of hell himself. After a few seconds, Crowley appeared directly in the middle of the demon-trap that they spray-painted onto the floor minutes prior.
"No! Come on!" Crowley yelled, nearly spilling the drink that was in his hand.
Ariel scoffed. "Do not act so surprised."
Crowley rolled his eyes. "My new boss is going to kill me for even talking to you lads, and lady." He nodded his head in the direction of the one female in the room.
Dean spoke up, obviously frustrated. "Well you're lucky we're not stabbing you in your scuzzy face, you little piece-"
"Woah!" Sam cut him off. "What new boss?"
"Castiel, you giraffe." Crowley retorted. "Is everybody's boss. What do you think he's going to do if he finds out we've been conspiring? You do want to conspire, don't you?"
Bobby rolled his eyes. "No. We want you to just stand there and look pretty." Ariel snorted at his sarcastic humor.
"We need a spell to bind death." Dean spoke up.
"Bind?" Crowed furrowed his eyebrows. "Enslave death? You having a laugh?"
"Lucifer did it. We have an archangel on our side." Sam stated
"That's Lucifer, and she's practically useless — being exiled and all." Crowley retorted.
Ariel rolled her eyes. "I am an angel of the lord, you dick bag."
Dean gave her a proud look, for he was finally rubbing off on her. Sam, on the other hand, let out a sigh and said, "A spell's a spell."
"Death is the only player on the board left that has the kind of juice to take Cas." Dean stated.
"They'll both mash us like peas. Why should I help with a suicide mission?"
"Look! Do you really want Cas running the universe?" Bobby yelled, growing very impatient.
Crowley looked down and poured himself another drink. Not another word came from his mouth.

AFTER NAOMI HAD deemed her exiled, Ariel did not have much to do at night. The men were fast asleep in their beds, while the female angel had free roam of the house. Though that night was different. That night, another presence had filled the living room as she sat on the couch. Ariel glanced up to see none other than Sam Winchester walking down the stairs, his hair disheveled from sleep.
The two shared a small smile before Sam was walking into the kitchen. Ariel's gaze followed him all the way to the fridge, where he grabbed a water bottle. After picking the drink up, he trudged back into the room where the blonde angel was sitting. He sat on the desk that was pushed off towards the side wall. "Can't sleep?" He asked.
Ariel shook her head. "I am an angel. I do not need to sleep."
Sam nodded his head as if he understand what that meant. Soon, a silence fell over the two. Sam continually drank his water, and Ariel glanced over the room, for she was fascinated with all the wonders it held.
"Hey, I have a question." Sam piped up. Ariel's head shot up to look at him. "When I woke up a few days ago, your wings were out. You said before that that was an intimate gesture." Sam was pacing now. "What is that supposed to mean?"
Ariel sighed. "Do not flatter yourself, Sam. I was merely airing them out. The way that they work is that they are shoved into my back while I am out and about, and it begins to get uncomfortable from time to time. There was no intimacy involved."
Another silence fell over the two. It was as if they had much to talk about, but felt too weird to bring them up. "C-Can I see them again?" Sam asked in a quiet, nervous voice.
Ariel stood up abruptly. Did she want to let Sam see her wings? She didn't know. Lots of emotions flooded through her, and she couldn't understand which they were. With no final thought given, Ariel shrugged off the jacket that clung to her body, and discarded it on the floor. She did not feel comfortable in removing her shirt as well, so she simply pushed the wings through the soft fabric.
Sam stood off to the side in awe at how magnificent they really were. It was as if he was in a dream. Slowly, he walked towards them with his hand outstretched. Ariel was quick to grab his arm before he could touch them. "The feathers are very sensitive."
The Winchester slowly nodded his head as if he was scared of her. Ariel took a deep breath before glancing at the ground to collect herself. "Why are the feathers going in different directions back here?" Sam asked, the concern clear in his voice.
"They get disheveled. I normally have other angels help, but I have been stuck down here lately." Ariel spoke. Sam nodded his head, even if she couldn't see it. Though her next words shocked both of them. "You can fix them if you want. Just please be careful with the base. There, they are the most sensitive."
Sam nodded his head again. He reached his hand up, and touched one of the many golden feathers. Out of reflect, the wing jolted out of shock. "Sorry." Ariel muttered in embarrassment.
The two sat in silence as the Winchester ran his hands through the golden feathers of her wings. Ariel couldn't help but close her eyes at the pure bliss that ran through her body. Sam smiled to himself because he knew that both of them would finally begin to trust each other better from there on out.
After he was finished, he stepped back and muttered, "Done." Ariel walked to a mirror that lay near the entrance of the room, and she examining the back of her wings. Sure enough, Sam completed his task. All of her feathers were in the correct direction and they looked much better than before.
Ariel turned to face him again. "Thank you, Sam. It means a lot."
He nodded his head with a smile. "Anytime. Now I hope to get some sleep now."
As he walked up the stairs, Ariel couldn't help but smile at him. She never really had someone to express the same feelings as she had with Sam. Without giving it another thought, she said, "Goodnight Sam."
